In recent years violent crime has risen significantly. Homicides, assaults, robberies and offences involving weapons have all seen sustained growth. We have also seen large increases in violent crime involving children and young people. This is a tragedy. One of the most important things we do is make sure our commissioning and procurement processes run smoothly and efficiently. We manage complex grant agreements and partnerships that support projects designed to create real impact. To do this well, we need accurate data, clear processes and strong coordination across teams and partners. The Delivery Operations Manager role is critical to making that happen. Reporting to the Senior Grants and Commissioning Manager, you’ll be the central point for operational delivery; drafting and managing grant agreements, maintaining data integrity in Salesforce and ensuring payments and requirements are processed correctly.

You’ll onboard partners, resolve issues quickly and keep everything organised so our teams can focus on delivering change. By supporting operations and improvements, you’ll help us maximise the impact of every pound we invest.

Key Responsibilities

Your role would be essential to keeping our commissioning and procurement processes running smoothly and efficiently. By ensuring consistency, accuracy and timely communication, you’ll help our teams work brilliantly and enable the organisation to deliver funding that makes a real difference. A detailed list of your key responsibilities on how you’ll do this is given below:

Manage grant agreements and contract administration in response to the needs of each team:

o Draft, prepare and execute initial grant agreements and subsequent variations, using Adobe e-Sign where required.

o Accurately input and maintain all project data in Salesforce, including requirements, financial commitments, payment schedules and supporting documents.

o Process adjustments to grant commitments, payment schedules and requirements promptly and accurately.

o Conduct regular data accuracy spot checks in Salesforce to maintain data integrity.

Coordinate grantees and partners

o Onboarding new grantees, evaluators and researchers onto our designated community platform when they are approved by each team.

o Act as a main point of contact for Programmes, Evaluation, Change and Evidence teams to resolve payment approval issues and discrepancies when they come up.

o Chase external partners for outstanding invoices and ensure timely resolution of payment-related queries.

Provide directorate-specific support

o For the Programmes team: Manage the team inbox, allocate new

applications to assessors, set up interviews and provide GEM administrative support when required.

o For the Evaluation team: Maintain an evaluation report tracking system to monitor deadlines and ensure timely submissions.

o Ensure data archiving is completed and shared with ONS/DfE as required.

Support process improvements and system integrity

o Assist the Senior Grants and Commissioning Manager and Assistant Director of Finance and Operations in implementing improvements to commissioning and procurement processes.

o Provide backup technical support for Salesforce during periods when the Senior Grants and Commissioning Manager is unavailable or requires assistance.

o Identify and suggest process enhancements to drive efficiency and consistency across commissioning operations.

Enable effective communication and reporting

o Serve as the main point of contact for initial commissioning and procurement requests when they arise, ensuring streamlined processes and avoiding duplication.

o Provide timely responses and clear communication to internal teams to improve stakeholder experience.

About the Role

We are looking to recruit a permanent Finance Manager to join our busy finance team, working 30-37 hours per week, minimum 30 hours, ideally over a minimum of 4 days, starting salary £31,634 per annum (pro rata).

As Finance Manager, you will:-

· Provide day-to-day operational leadership of the finance team, including supervision, workload coordination, ongoing  staff development and continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

· Act as the main link between the Finance Director and the Finance Team, translating strategic direction into clear, effective delivery.

· Lead month-end processes including the preparation of accurate management accounts, maintaining strong balance sheet control and exercising sound judgement on complex financial issues.

· Oversee income, credit control, cashflow, short-term forecasting and the administration of the finance system, ensuring data integrity, high-quality management information and appropriate escalation of risks or pressures.

· Support audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as required.

· Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to support financial understanding, compliance and the effective resolution of issues.

· Act as the first point of escalation for operational finance issues, escalating to the Finance Director as appropriate.

About You

We need you to bring:

·AAT Level 4 Qualification or significant equivalent finance experience, with responsibility for management accounts, reconciliations and income monitoring.

· Experience coordinating month-end processes and working across multiple income streams, contracts or funding arrangements.

· Strong analytical skills and sound professional judgement, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues and identify financial and organisational risk and escalate issues appropriately.

· Experience supervising or supporting others within a finance setting, with a collaborative leadership style and a commitment to continuous improvement.

· Confidence using financial systems and Microsoft Excel at an intermediate to advanced level, alongside a methodical, organised approach to prioritising work.

· A clear commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion and to the values of The Advocacy People.

The following attributes are also desirable:-

· Experience working in the voluntary or charitable sector, including knowledge of SORP accounting, year-end accounts and liaison with auditors.

· Experience working with local authority contracts or complex funding environments.

The Research Manager will play an important role in working with the Head of Impact and Evaluation and across Coram to develop and expand work of the team within Coram’s Institute for Children.

Working within Coram’s growing Impact and Evaluation team (which currently includes eight permanent researchers) the Research Manager will lead the delivery of high quality, innovative qualitative and quantitative studies including externally commissioned research and evaluation to support the improvement of policy and practice for vulnerable children, young people and their families. This will include implementation and process evaluations with children/young people, parents/carers and professionals as well as quasi-experimental and experimental impact evaluations.

Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) funds and delivers a pre-hospital emergency helicopter-led service across the Midlands region (serving six counties). The Opportunity

As MAAC prepares for the planned departure of its current postholder, the organisation is seeking an exceptional Director of Finance to join the Executive Team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the Finance Director is a key member of the Charity’s Leadership Team, providing strategic financial direction across the Group (the parent charity and its trading subsidiary). This role ensures the organisation remains financially resilient, well‑governed, and strongly positioned to deliver its mission for the long term – through working collaboratively with the Chief Executive, Leadership Team and Board members.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Play a key role as part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), contributing to organisational strategy and fostering strong cross‑department collaboration.  Work collaboratively with the Chief Executive and SLT to develop and maintain the three-year strategic plan, ensuring financial projections, assumptions, and scenario planning are based on accurate data and sound forecasting.
• Provide strategic financial leadership that supports long‑term sustainability, future growth, and the delivery of critical services.
• Build strong, transparent, and trusting relationships with Board members by delivering clear, relevant financial reporting and assurance (supporting Board members to carry out their governance responsibilities effectively).  Manage the Audit and Risk Committee’s activities in conjunction with the Committee Chair
• Lead a high‑quality financial management function for the Charity and its subsidiary, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements, governance requirements and accounting standards.
• Manage the full year-end audit cycle, ensuring schedules, reconciliations, and working papers are prepared to a high standard and delivered within agreed timescales.
• Oversee the timely preparation of monthly Group Management Accounts, ensuring high-quality financial reporting is supported by meaningful commentary, variance analysis, trend interpretation, and insights that enable informed strategic decision-making by the SLT and Trustees. 
• Manage the relationship with the Charity’s external investment portfolio fund manager and independent investment advisors - ensuring the Charity receives high-quality professional advice on investment strategy, shareholdings, and cash allocation, and that all recommendations align with organisational objectives, ethical considerations, and risk appetite.

About You

You will be a professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with substantial senior‑level experience and the credibility to operate confidently at Board level. Most importantly, you will embody strong values, show high emotional intelligence, and be genuinely motivated to contribute to MAAC’s mission. Charity sector experience is essential -  with a thorough understanding of what it takes to promote financial best practice, control spend and assist with income generation in sizable Not-for-Profit environments. Centre 404 is looking for an experienced and ambitious Fundraising & Engagement Manager to lead and grow our fundraising and engagement activity—helping us provide vital support to people with learning disabilities and their families. 

You will oversee the development and delivery of innovative fundraising initiatives, donor stewardship, and engagement campaigns, ensuring sustainable growth and increased visibility for the organisation.  As an expert in your field, you will work collaboratively across teams and with external partners, to champion Centre 404’s mission within local communities and beyond.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of Centre 404’s fundraising strategy and drive innovative approaches across individual giving, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, and community fundraising.  You will play a key role in shaping our income generation, increasing our visibility, and maximising our impact.

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead Fundraising Strategy - develop and deliver a dynamic fundraising strategy across multiple income streams. Identify new opportunities and drive year‑on‑year income growth.
• Engage & Inspire Supporters - build strong relationships with donors, corporate partners, and local communities.  Create compelling fundraising campaigns, events, and cases for support. Nurture long‑term supporter loyalty, including legacy and in‑memory giving.
• Secure Grants & Manage Bids - research and secure funding from trusts and foundations.  Monitor reporting requirements and maintain excellent funder relationships.
• Grow Community & Corporate Partnerships - network widely to raise Centre 404’s profile.  Secure financial support, gifts in kind and employee engagement.  Support individuals and teams to succeed in their own fundraising efforts.
• Strengthen Communications & Impact - work with the Communications Team to create engaging digital content and newsletters.  Champion consistent, mission‑driven messaging across all platforms.
• Lead with Purpose - Embed a fundraising culture across the organisation.  Implement a CRM system to manager data effectively. Contribute to organisational strategy as a member of the management team.

About You

• Substantial experience in fundraising from at least one of the following: trusts and foundations, corporates or individual giving.
• Substantial understanding of charity sector regulations, compliance requirements, and ethical fundraising standards.
• Knowledge of donor stewardship and supporter engagement strategies.
• A track record of achieving and exceeding fundraising targets.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and campaigns.
• Excellent project management, data monitoring, and CRM experience.
• A proactive, innovative mindset and a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.

 Key responsibilities of the Senior Fundraising Manager?

Strategic Leadership & Income Generation

• Follow the fundraising strategy, developing and executing annual plans to achieve revenue targets and diversify income streams.
• Oversee the growth of Individual Giving, Regular Giving, and In Memory Giving, and Community Fundraising initiatives.
• Design and implement targeted fundraising campaigns, leveraging insights and KPIs to maximise donor engagement and income.
• Promote fundraising opportunities across community networks, digital channels, individual giving portals, and public platforms.

2. Team Leadership & Management

• Manage and inspire a team of fundraising professionals, ensuring objectives, 1:1s, and appraisals are delivered in line with HR policy.
• Develop clear annual training, time management, and support plans for staff and volunteers.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to ensure high performance, accountability, and a collaborative working culture.

3. Volunteer Programme Oversight

• Oversee the ongoing development of the Hospice volunteer programme alongside the Volunteer Executive, ensuring effective recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention.
• Work directly with clinical teams to align volunteer support with operational needs, guaranteeing smooth running of hospice activities.
• Ensure all volunteers receive regular feedback and adhere to health and safety requirements.
• Maintain and develop the programme in line with Investing in Volunteers standards.

4. Donor Relations & Stakeholder Engagement

• Cultivate, steward, and strengthen long-term relationships with key donors, sponsors, community partners, and supporters.
• Support the delivery of fundraising events such as community fairs, and photography competitions, attracting large public support. Support the team during gala dinners and garden parties. Oversee the Events Executive in all areas of their role.
• Enhance the Hospice’s visibility and supporter engagement through partnership building and community presence.

5. Data, Finance & Compliance

• Ensure all donor and volunteer records are held and maintained under GDPR and internal data protection regulations.

Am I the right person for this Senior Fundraising Manager role?

• At least 3 years’ experience in the fundraising sector
• Experience in managing volunteers and/ or a team of employees with ability to motivate
• Experience in Community/ event fundraising
• Experience with an individual/ regular giving programme
• A proven track record of delivering against targets and deadlines
• Proven experience of identifying and responding to external opportunities and an ability to translate into plans of action
• Experience of representing an organisation at senior level
