Person Specification
- A practising Christian who is passionate about personally representing the Christian values of Resurgo and committed to Resurgo's mission to inspire and equip organisation to bring about ambitious and sustainable social change.
- Excellent relationship building and application writing skills. Experience in Trust fundraising or an equivalent field is desirable but not essential.
- Some knowledge of statutory fundraising is desirable but not essential.
- Extremely organised and efficient; calm under pressure, able to juggle competing deadlines and priorities, splitting time across multiple projects.
- Excellent people skills, able to relate well to colleagues of all seniority levels, freelancers, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management
- Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
- Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
- Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts & Statutory partners.
Write applications and reports
- Develop compelling funding applications for Trusts and occasionally statutory funders, articulating Resurgo's vision and strategy to persuasively engage new donors with a focus on raising five and six-figure grants.
- Stay ahead of sector trends, media, and political context to market Resurgo's interventions in a compelling way.
- Develop general communications on the work of Resurgo to inspire and update our Trust audience.
- Produce reports and updates on the impact of our work for funders in a timely manner.
Data Management and Monitoring
- Update our internal database (Salesforce) with all donor interactions, donations and other details ina timely and efficient manner and with strong attention to detail, and analyse data to give insights' and drive future activity.
- Manage the Trusts & Foundations and Statutory pipelines and report on income and other KPIs, and ensure Trusts & Foundations team meets monthly targets and deadlines.
Line Management
- Actively manage and develop the Trusts & Foundations Executive to help them grow personally and in their role.

Role Overview:
The Muslim Hands Fundraising team is looking for a Creative and Brand Manager. This is a 12-month-opportunity to help shape the visual identity of Muslim Hands and deliver campaigns end-to-end, including the 2026 Ramadan campaign. his role provides excellent administrative support across two departments in the Diocese of Coventry offices:
• The Ministry & Leadership team provides learning, training and development for volunteer Christian leaders across Coventry and Warwickshire. (The role holder is based in this team, and most of their working time is focussed there.)
• Website administration. (Half a day each week will be committed to this.)
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the Lay Learning & Training Lead to administrate learning and training Programmes across Coventry Diocese.
- Administration of ‘Pathways’ training programmes:
- booking, and liaising with, event venues
- setting up Zoom meetings
- administrating the annual programme
- processing data re people’s training progress
- point of contact for programme participants
- supporting training deliverers
- other administrative support
- Provide administrative support to the Ministry & Leadership team as and when required.
Keeping the diocesan website up to date.

Islamic Relief UK (IRUK) is actively recruiting for the position of ‘Direct Marketing Manager’ to be based from its Waterloo Office, London. The organisation is currently operating to a hybrid working model.
The Direct Marketing Manager has operational and strategic responsibility in developing and implementing the Islamic Relief UK direct marketing programme. This includes the following key direct marketing channels: Email, SMS, Direct Mail, OOH and DRTV. The postholder will ensure the delivery of cross-channel, high profile and impactful marketing campaigns that drive action and improve supporter retention.
Knowledge, skills and attributes required:
- Educated to Degree level, or equivalent standard
- Professional qualification in Marketing
- Ability to communicate technical information and requirements to non-technical management and internal stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Commercially aware with good understanding of budget management and ROI
- An aptitude to plan annually, multiple campaigns and activities
- An understanding of marketing and other current marketing trends
- An ability to manage multiple projects
- An understanding of marketing strategy, marketing techniques, and knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research techniques
- Proven record of excellent people and interpersonal skills with strong communication skills at individual and group levels.
- Excellent project management skills, ability to set goals and manage appropriate activity to achieve them

Experience required:
- Production of core marketing collateral including print, digital and audio-visual resources
- Management of integrated campaigns across all direct marketing channels
- Experience of audience profiling and segmentation
- Implementing successful customer/donor journeys across all direct marketing channels
- Raising funds/generating profit across all direct marketing channels
- Demonstrable experience of using email marketing platforms to develop customer journeys, raise funds and drive engagement with customers/donors
- Third sector experience, specifically within a marketing led role
- Experience of influencing and managing a wide range of stakeholders in a complex organisation
- Practical experience of successfully managing marketing budgets, evaluation and monitoring systems
- Proven experience in planning and project management, with the skills to engage colleagues and support at all levels
- Experience of building, developing and managing strategic partnerships with business suppliers (including creative and buying agencies), ensuring development of clear briefs, value-for-money, achievement of results, compliance and commitment to an organisations values and goals
- Experience of working with data management/analysis teams
- Experience of delivering with set budgets and using resources effectively to successfully balance creative aspirations with limited financial and other resources
- A track record of developing innovative marketing campaigns across all media and platforms

Based on Christian fellowship, members express their faith through action in their local communities, aiming to create a world where every individual can reach their full potential, by stopping poverty, injustice and violence.
Main Purpose of the Role:
To be responsible for the implementation and day to day project management of the individual giving programme across both existing and new fundraising products, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, members, volunteers and internal teams across Mothers’ Union to ensure the success of the appeals. As part of a small team you will be working closely with and under the direction of the Head of Individual Giving.
Key Responsibilities:
- To project manage multiple appeals delivering accurate campaigns on time, on budget to a high standard, meeting agreed targets.
- Analyse and interpret direct marketing campaign results, and produce regular reports, drawing conclusions, completing campaign reviews and making recommendations to improve future activity such as targeting and testing suggestions to improve performance of the programme and feed into longer term strategic plans.
- Ensure all materials produced are accurate and compliant with relevant data protection and gift aid legislation (where applicable). Undertaking all activities in line with best practice standards and processes as set out by the IoF, Fundraising Regulator and any other bodies as prompted by the Head of Individual Giving.
- Write campaign briefs including campaign objectives, creative, digital, print and production briefs, feeding into decisions on creative approaches, copy and all technical aspects of the direct marketing programmes
- Write or amend existing copy and proof-read accurately. Critique, manage and evaluate work by external or internal agencies to a high standard and high level of accuracy
- Lead contact for our face to face fundraising activity, from briefing, monitoring and reconciliation to delivering training and fulfilling requests, including coordination of visits to Mother's Union projects
- Lead on any challenge events or wider individual DIY fundraising or organisational income generating events as assigned, meeting agreed targets set by the Head of Individual Giving.
- Monitoring, managing and reporting of key KPIs including campaign income, spend and other performance metrics on a regular basis. Reporting to the Head of Individual Giving, highlighting variances and updating fundraising team reports making sure information is accurate and reconciled where necessary.
- Designing and delivering targeted training programmes for groups of fundraisers or members on behalf of Mothers’ Union as well as providing effective one-to-one campaign support as required.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern
This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.
