Birmingham City FC Foundation has won a 4 year National Lottery funded project entitled ‘Blues Go Green’. This exciting project is delivered in partnership with Dream Chasers CIC, Birmingham Voluntary Services Council and The Good Work Co-operative. ‘Blues Go Green’ will engage the collective footprint of Birmingham City FC and the Foundation, working with partners to reduce climate emissions and increase environmental justice through solution driven change.
The role
Working closely with Birmingham City FC, partners and other Foundation members you will lead the ‘Blues Go Green’ project and team in delivering an exciting, innovative and compelling change programme. The project will target people previously excluded from Climate Projects, helping them develop a greater understanding of how their daily actions can positively impact climate and our environment.
Leading a small team to deliver the full scope of ‘Blues Go Green’ with Birmingham City FC, Official Supporters Group, Partners, Schools and more. Developing and delivering an ambitious multifaceted project to get the widest possible scope and impact of all that ‘Blues Go Green’ can be.
The Team
Birmingham City FC Foundation is growing. The Foundation team are passionate about working together to make change happen. The role is part of the Foundation Management team and will have 2 direct reports and 1 indirect report, however it will need to harness the skills and knowledge of the whole team in delivering Blues Go Green.
The Person
As a strong influencer and team player, you will be delivering an exciting project that will leave a legacy for years to come. You must have a project management mindset and experience with excellent communication and stakeholder management. You will be able to demonstrate not only the results of successful projects but also your leadership style and how it gets those results. You will be an ambassador not only for the Foundation but also for Birmingham City FC with strategic partners and groups throughout the West Midlands.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate project planning and delivery skills including successful examples of having designed, implemented and delivered large-scale projects. have experience of successful partnership work and a clear aptitude for building strong positive relationships. Experience of environmental sustainability organisations or projects would be advantageous but not essential. You are known for your professionalism, influence, flexibility and positive attitude.

HR Operations Manager - Maternity Cover

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager / HR Operations Manager to join our team on a fixed term basis from October 2025 to cover a period of maternity leave of 8 months which will include time with the current post holder for induction. It's an exciting time to join our team as we work through departmental change and transformation.
This role will lead the provision of a high quality, efficient and cost-effective HR Service for WWT (both in the UK and overseas) for employed staff and casual workers through a fantastic team of administrators and working with HR Business Partners.
As this role is on a fixed term basis, it will primarily focus on ensuring the delivery of administration for the employee lifecycle, systems administration and optimisation of payroll and recruitment products, statutory reporting and policy / procedure development. The successful candidate will possess a unique skill of ensuring compliance but also continuous improvement.
Experience of working with People XD (an Access product) and / or Eploy recruitment systems is advantageous.

Who are we?
St. John's is a non-maintained specialist provision, working with autistic people, the majority of whom also have learning disabilities. Some of our learners have co-occurring conditions such as epilepsy, hearing or visual impairments, or mental health needs. We also support autistic learners who have an additional profile of Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) syndrome. We have a team built up of support workers, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, nurses, PBS practitioners, assistant psychologists, and more, to support us in our holistic approach to development.

The Role
The Director of Service Development is a strategic role, responsible for the development and growth of services across HNHA. Duties will include:

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Sustrans as part of our Active Journeys team covering schools projects across Scotland, where you will help shape healthier, happier communities through walking, wheeling, and cycling.
As Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the design, delivery, and oversight of behaviour change and engagement projects, as well as leading and supporting the schools delivery team. You’ll be at the heart of creating positive change, ensuring projects are cost-efficient, timely, and impactful.
This role will require travel and work at various locations across Scotland as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.
About you
You will bring a solid understanding of active travel and the barriers faced by communities experiencing inequalities, alongside knowledge or practical experience in behaviour change concepts and approaches.
You will have demonstrable experience in:
- Managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and partners, particularly those with a strong emphasis on community engagement.
- Project reporting and managing budgets.
You are a skilled problem solver with excellent organisational abilities, capable of managing and prioritising work across multiple projects to meet deadlines and targets.
With the leadership responsibilities of this role, you will be confident in your ability to:
- Lead and mentor colleagues, providing guidance and support both in-person and remotely.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment focused on shared success and continuous improvement.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us for as a seasonal worker at Shelter! This is a brand-new role as a Order Picker in our Sunderland Furniture shop. This is an exciting opportunity to join us at a key time of year helping to raise vital funds throughout our Autumn and Winter period for people who are homeless or badly housed.
About the role
As a seasonal order picker, you will play a vital part in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently on time during our busiest period. It will involve working as part of a small team, being responsible for picking and packing products, maintaining stock accuracy and supporting with the smooth flow of goods in and out of the operation.
The role will be fast paced working to accurately pick, pack and process customer orders in line with SLAs. It will involve working collaboratively with team members to meet targets and communicating any issues to the Order Picker Supervisor.
About you
To be successful in the role you will need to be comfortable working at a fast pace and ensuring to maintain a high level of accuracy in a dead-line driven environment. Also making sure to have strong attention to detail to make sure the orders are picked and packed correctly.
Being able to work well as part of a team is important to contribute towards a positive and efficient working environment and be confident to use basic IT systems and handheld devices to update stock and order records.

About the Role:
The Nightstop Coordinator role is busy and varied role, it involves working with young people from when they approach the service to when they find longer term accommodation. The 21 hour a week role is community based, where you will provide community groups, peer support networks along with collaborating with other key partners and organisations in the City of York , deliver existing groups as well as introduce new initiatives and groups in York. The role requires the successful candidate to complete group delivery, supporting and encourage people affected by dementia to engage in activities and socialise with others in a group setting. The current programme is delivered Monday, Thursday and Friday, so the successful candidate will be required to work on these days. You will work with other organisations, so stakeholder management is key to the role and the enhancement of the reach of the Alzheimer’s Society.

· Lead, coach, and manage a team of freelancers responsible for communications, stewardship, and engagement activities; oversee contracts, monitor deliverables and expenditures
· Maintain strong relationships with program leaders across the global organization, keeping apprised of IFAW’s programmatic work to identify topics that will appeal to high-net-worth donors and prospects
· Analyze donor engagement metrics, track trends, and report on the effectiveness of engagement and stewardship strategies.
Collaboration and fundamentals
· Ensure routine fundraising communications and templates for major gifts are up-to-date, accurate, and on brand (e.g., fundraising appeals, donor education emails, gift acknowledgments, holiday cards, swag)
· Manage creation and updates of bespoke proposals so that they are timely and well-designed
· Improve integration of mail / email outreach
· Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to optimize use and creative repurposing of resources and collateral materials
· Enhance web presence (philanthropy pages) to incorporate donor testimonials and demonstrate impact of philanthropic support
· Update and improve naming opportunities for major and principal gifts, named and endowed funds, larger legacies and blended gifts from HNW individuals
Strategic guidance and innovation
· Collaborate with DVP Development to recommend and implement effective points of contact with donors for the purposes of cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of six-figure+ gifts
· Identify opportunities to present our work more effectively and enhance the donor experience
· Launch or relaunch giving societies – e.g., cumulative lifetime giving, high-end annual giving, legacy society – with an emphasis on philanthropy and engagement rather than perks and benefits
· Advise on ways to streamline and improve donor communications and engagement, e.g., by leveraging technology, balancing push / pull outreach, adjusting the mix of print / digital and other media
· Guide the larger Development team in positioning our programs to inspire greater philanthropic support
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Minimum 4-5 years of related experience in nonprofit stewardship, donor communications, fundraising, or related transferable experience
· Experience leading a team in a development setting, including direct supervision of colleagues in donor engagement and stewardship; and/or management of a stable of contractors and freelancers
· Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment and lead numerous functions and various projects simultaneously
· Exceptional written communication, relationship-building, project management and collaboration skills

· Cultural competence: ability to work seamlessly with colleagues across four continents.
· Able to work successfully both individually and as part of a team.
· Must be flexible and willing to take on new responsibilities within a growing program
· Ability to travel regionally/internationally for trainings and team meetings
· A degree from a four-year college or university preferred
· Knowledge of Microsoft products, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook required; familiarity with Adobe, Canva or other graphic design / visual communications programs a plus
