We are seeking a flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to deliver and develop services for Young Carers aged 5–16. The role involves three key parts. The first is delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote wellbeing, reduce isolation, and give Young Carers a break from their responsibilities. The second is providing one-to-one support to help Young Carers manage challenges, access services, and prioritise their mental and emotional wellbeing. The third is leading outreach to identify and engage hidden Young Carers. 

About The Role: 

You will work across two key age groups, 5–11 and 12–16, delivering and supervising activities, supporting events and trips, and providing behavioural management where needed. Alongside group activities, you will offer one-to-one support to individual Young Carers, ensuring they feel heard, included, and supported as they navigate the challenges of their caring roles. You will also deliver awareness training sessions, run stalls, and build partnerships in the community to identify and engage Young Carers. 

This is a part-time post (3 days per week). The regular days will be Wednesday - Friday, However flexibility is required, with regular evening and occasional weekend work.

Kineara has a new vacancy for an experienced Housing support worker to join our small and dedicated team for our new School Housing Advice project.

About the project 

The School Housing Advice Support Project builds on the success of a pilot program and aims to provide tailored housing advice and support to families, particularly those living in temporary accommodation (TA). The project started in January 2025 and is currently being delivered at three primary schools in the borough of Southwark.

The initiative offers practical housing advice, casework, workshops, and legal support through a collaborative partnership between Kineara and Southwark Law Centre. It also addresses challenges such as poor housing conditions, legal proceedings, and impacts on families' health and wellbeing.

About the role 

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and compassionate support worker to deliver housing advice and practical support to parents from four Primary Schools in Southwark. This role involves conducting housing surgeries, providing follow-up casework, and running workshops to empower clients with the knowledge and skills to address their housing-related issues. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to identify their needs and offer tailored solutions to help them achieve sustainable housing outcomes. The role will be based mostly in Southwark, and you will be working in partnership with schools, community organisations and the council to coordinate tailored support for each client to avoid eviction and sustain tenancies, address suitability of the property, mediating with landlords where necessary and providing advice for onward housing when needed. The objectives of these programmes are to avoid evictions, sustain tenancies or move to a better suited property, improve wellbeing and awareness of tenancy rights and housing polices.

• You will have experience of working with families and individuals with complex needs, as well as some experience of providing housing support.

As a Rough Sleeping Outreach and Assessment Worker, you’ll play a vital role in our Street Outreach Service and the new 24-hour Assessment Centre. One night you could be out on the street engaging with people sleeping rough; the next day you might be welcoming someone to the centre, creating a support plan, and linking them to housing and health services.

What you’ll do

• Carry out late-night street outreach and day-time reception shifts as part of a rota.
• Build trusting relationships with people who are rough sleeping and help them move quickly into safe accommodation.
• Provide trauma-informed, person-centred support, including assessments, personalised action plans and follow-on help to sustain tenancies.

You bring experience of working with vulnerable adults, ideally in homelessness or a related field, and you’re confident working late-night shifts. You can build rapport quickly, stay calm under pressure, and work well with partner agencies. Above all, you believe that homelessness should be rare, brief and non-recurring.

In addition to the 50+ young people we see every day out our centre, New Horizon’s Outreach service works with young people on the streets and in the community. The team works pan London to deliver a youth-specific outreach service to young people currently or at risk of rough sleeping. We use our extensive housing expertise to place those young people into accommodation that is appropriate and safe, whilst encouraging them to access the day centre to benefit from the wide range of services we offer. This role will involve regualr outreach shifts (early mornings and late evenings) across London aswell as supporting our clients in the day centre and developing a best practice approach to supporting young rough sleepers and the hidden homeless.

You’ll help run our Soup Kitchen sessions at St Peter’s Church in Blackpool’s South Shore, making sure food preparation, service and cleanup run smoothly. Oasis Community Hub Hadley encompasses a variety of integrated and diverse community projects which together have a common aim to bring transformation to the whole person and the whole community. 

Oasis Community Hub Hadley is looking to recruit a Youth Development Outreach Worker to join the Oasis Youth Support project at North Middlesex University Hospital. This project offers support to young people who have attended the Emergency Department due to violence in order to promote positive outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Offering intensive 1:1 support to the young people referred to the project by hospital staff following an attendance at ED due to violence or aggression. Support for the young person can include liaising with parents/carers, safeguarding services and other agencies/networks with the purpose of increasing positive outcomes.

· Being a physical presence in the department, working with key staff within NMUH to ensure all young people who come into ED as a result of a violence or aggression are able to access support where required.

· Planning and delivering sessions focusing around specific areas of violence reduction for young people and professionals.

You could be successful in this role if you: 

· Have a relevant experience working with young people using a Youth Work approach and seen a positive impact from that work

· Are committed and passionate about working with young people who have experienced violence using a young person centred, trauma informed approach.

· Possess excellent oral/written communication and organisational skills.

· Are self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and work to deadlines.

About the Project

Hertfordshire Mind Network (HMN) has been awarded Hertfordshire’s CAMHS Early Help Digital Intervention Service (WithYOUth).

The WithYOUth Service is an innovative partnership between BfB Labs and Hertfordshire Mind Network to provide a countywide digital service that is accessible to children and young people aged 5 – 18, at the earliest point of an emerging emotional wellbeing and/ or mental health need. The service will operate between 14:00 – 22:00 seven days a week.

About Sebby’s Corner

Sebby’s Corner is a Barnet-based charity supporting vulnerable families and children living in poverty across London and the South East. We support thousands of families every year with clothing, nappies, formula, school uniforms, birthday gifts and more. In 2024–25, we supported almost 4,000 children and over 2,300 parents, distributing £482,993 worth of essentials.

Sebby’s Corner serves families in crisis, many of whom are experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic abuse, seeking asylum, or living in poverty. Referrals are made by frontline professionals including social workers, midwives, health visitors, and family support workers so we can ensure we are reaching the most vulnerable.

We believe by meeting immediate material needs, we can help stabilise families, reduce stress, and improve the wellbeing of both parents and children. About the Role

We are looking for a confident and strategic fundraiser with proven experience in major donor and corporate fundraising. You will lead our income generation, helping us to raise over £400,000 every year, with a focus on building high-value, long-term partnerships with individuals and companies. You will also oversee community fundraising, events and supporter engagement, ensuring every donor feels valued and connected to our mission.

Key Responsibilities

MAJOR DONORS

• Take the lead in cultivating, stewarding, and retaining high-value individual donors, ensuring they feel personally connected to Sebby’s Corner and the impact of their support.

• Grow and manage our Patronage Programme, developing tailored stewardship plans and recognition opportunities for different giving levels.

• Work closely with the CEO and trustees to leverage their networks and open doors to new prospects, building a strong pipeline of high-value supporters.

• Host and attend events, briefings, and meetings with donors to deepen relationships and encourage long-term commitment.

CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS

• Develop and deliver a proactive strategy to secure Charity of the Year partnerships, sponsorships, corporate volunteering, in-kind donations, and payroll giving schemes.

• Build and nurture long-term relationships with local and national businesses, ensuring they are engaged with Sebby’s Corner’s mission and receive excellent stewardship.

• Work alongside the CEO to lead Sebby’s Corner’s annual Charity Extra appeal, including developing campaign messaging, recruiting and motivating Champions, and ensuring the appeal delivers maximum income and visibility.

• Lead on Sebby’s Corner’s own fundraising events, working with staff, volunteers, and suppliers to deliver high-quality and financially successful events.

• Lead the growth of regular giving and one-off donations, ensuring donors receive timely, personalised stewardship.

• Design and deliver seasonal appeals (e.g. School Uniform, Christmas, Father’s Day), setting clear targets and analysing results to inform future campaigns.

• Oversee the development of compelling supporter communications, including newsletters, impact stories, and social media content, to inspire donors and demonstrate transparency.

LEADERSHIP & STRATEGY

• Develop and implement a clear fundraising strategy to diversify income streams and grow sustainable, high-value support.

Essential

• Proven success in securing and stewarding high-value income (e.g. major donors, corporates, or significant partnerships)

• Experience planning and delivering successful fundraising campaigns and/or events with clear outcomes

• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, confident engaging with high-net-worth individuals, trustees, and senior business leaders

• Experience line-managing staff, interns, or volunteers

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to craft compelling cases for support and inspiring donor communications

What We Offer

Salary & Pension 

The salary range for this role is £42,000 - £48,000 FTE per annum (gross), dependent on experience and pro-rated if you work part-time. If eligible to join the pension scheme, we will match your contributions by 5%.

Annual Leave

You will be entitled to 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part-time roles). We usually close between Christmas and New Year without this time coming off your annual leave allowance.

- Working as part of a team be responsible for supporting on activities for young people within a number of sites in which we operate, including Oasis Academy Enfield, Oasis Academy Hadley, Ponders End Youth Centre and Bell Lane Youth Centre as arranged. 

- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all young people accessing our projects.

- Leading on activities that support the holistic development of young people.

Salary: £35,220.59 - £37,184.91 + Outer Fringe allowance £694.25 (Pro-Rata)

*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours. 

Responsibilities

About the role: 

• Under the supervision of CGL’s Cluster Manager, you will lead the delivery of services that empower Children, Young People, and their Families to overcome issues around substance misuse.
• The post holder will provide line management to practitioners within the service and will be responsible for the operational management and strategic development of the service.
• They will always maintain high professional standards and ensure a Young Person focused approach in all aspects of delivery with the aim of reducing harm and promoting resilience.
• They will lead by example in creating a professional and young persons focused team culture focused on excellent service delivery.
• The post holder will ensure a positive learning environment where integrity and professionalism are paramount, whilst empowering staff to ensure all attempts at positive outcomes are achieved for those using the service.
• You will support the Cluster Manager in the continual development and improvement of service delivery.
• You will develop and maintain excellent working relationships with partners both internally within the service and externally within a wider partnership.
• The Post Holder must have a valid UK Driving License and access to a car in order to work flexibly at various operational sites as required.

About you: 

• Experience of working with children and young people experiencing difficulties around Substance misuse.
• Knowledge of the issues facing children, young people and their families affected by substance misuse.
• Excellent knowledge of drugs and alcohol and their effects.
• Line management experience including the delivery of reflective practice.
• The ability to lead, empower and motivate a team.
• Excellent knowledge of safeguarding policies and practices relating to children and young people and experience of embedding these operationally.
• The ability to foster new partnerships and to maintain positive relationships with partner agencies.
• Knowledge of a range of psychosocial and evidence-based interventions around substance misuse.
• Knowledge and understanding around the ‘Hidden Harm’ agenda.
• Knowledge and experience of community-based support/outreach practices.
• Ability to ensure all record keeping, outcome monitoring and data collection is maintained effectively.
• Communicate confidently and effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Respond flexibly to the demands of the post.
• The ability to keep calm under pressure.
• Show commitment to facilitating positive outcomes for young people and their families.
