As Trusts and Foundations Officer you will be Baobab’s key fundraiser and a self-starter with experience of working in a small or medium sized charity. You will be responsible for carrying out a successful program of fundraising from small, medium and large charitable trusts and foundations to an agreed annual fundraising target. You will also assist in delivering Baobab’s individual major donor programme, helping to set up and deliver communications and events related to this income stream. You will work closely with our operations team to gain an overview of all aspects of Baobab’s work. Working in a collaborative team with the Operations and Fundraising Manager and senior fundraising consultant, you will be a central part of this small team and contribute to discussions on Baobab’s fundraising plans and strategy.
This role is for 4 or 5 days per week depending on your preference, it will include Friday which is when staff meetings are held.

As Regional Manager you will represent, manage and co-ordinate FoodCycle meals for your allocated regional Projects. Our Projects are spaces where volunteers are empowered to run their own community meals using surplus food. You will manage local relationships with venues, community partners, supermarkets and volunteer recruitment channels to enable this to happen. You will continually be looking to increase our impact by working towards targets of increased meals served to our guests, expanding our existing Projects and setting up new ones within East Midlands.
An excellent communicator, you will manage the volunteers at each Project ensuring they are trained, supported and on-message with FoodCycle strategy. You will have experience of recruiting and managing volunteers, as well as programme development and delivery.
This role will require some attendance at our Community Meals projects, to support with delivery as necessary, which will include evening and weekend work. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this exciting role.

About this key role
Our successful candidate will be embedded in the trauma team, working closely with clinicians and hospital staff to provide support for those young people admitted to the Major Trauma Centre right through to their discharge back into the community, including access to appropriate longer-term support. You will be expected to identify and provide a comprehensive and holistic assessment, advice, referral and support service to young victims of violence people, exploring innovative and effective ways of supporting them which will reduce their risk of re-victimisation.
You will produce support and risk management plans based on your assessments, promoting inter-agency collaboration in the assessment and planning process, and develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies. We will also count on you to deliver a holistic support service, working solo or with colleagues as the situation dictates, providing a practical service that will include social and housing support, accompanying to appointments, benefits work, debt advice, liaising with utilities, appearing in court, and cleaning.
What we are looking for
You will be passionate about support and uplifting Children and Young people and want to make a difference within the community for the betterment of Children and Young People. You’ll also have an understanding of the challenges that are faced by some CYP and be relatable. You’ll need:
- Personal experience of the criminal justice system, lived experience of the issues facing this client group and/or experience of working with ‘high risk’, vulnerable children, young people and/or families
- Substantial experience of providing support, advice and advocacy
- Substantial experience of supporting CYP and assessing the needs of children and young people who at risk of significant harm
- An understanding of how trauma impacts on a young person and what that can look like
- A relevant qualification to a good standard or be working towards one
- A knowledge of relevant services for young people and their families in the service provision area
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Hold line management responsibility for a small specialist team providing holistic support to survivors of domestic abuse.

As an experienced domestic violence advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, you will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis.
Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic violence and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision. You will be adept at juggling front line work and management responsibilities, with an ability to prioritise, work collaboratively and demonstrate innovation in time management and service delivery methods.

The Welfare Adviser will provide high quality specialist welfare benefits and housing advice, information and guidance to our service users, referring them internally and externally for additional advocacy and support as required, following organisational policies and procedures, and ensuring fulfilment of regulatory compliance with our Advice Quality Standard (AQS) accreditation, meeting the standards of quality in the delivery of advice services as required. The post-holder will work closely and collaboratively with other advisers, staff team members, interns, trainees, and volunteers as relevant, providing face-to-face advice, by telephone or other digital media.
Main accountabilities
- To provide LAH service users with high quality free specialist welfare benefits advice and guidance on income maximisation, that is accurate, effective, and tailored to their particular needs and circumstances.
- Manage an adequate caseload of enquiries from LAH service users in a condition of extreme financial need, including those who are homeless (or on the brink of homelessness).
- To contribute to the development of LAH Advice Programme, which aims to provide frontline, one-to-one advice and casework in key areas of need for the community, including welfare entitlements, housing, employment and immigration.

Safe Passage International (SPI) is recruiting an International Operations Manager to support continuing and sustainable growth in our ground-breaking work to ensure that safe routes to sanctuary exist for all people seeking asylum and that their right to protection is upheld.
You will join a dynamic Operations Team that works hard to ensure seamless operations that empower field and front-line staff to achieve the highest impact possible for the people we work with. The team’s responsibilities include people management, compliance, governance, participation, safeguarding, systems, MEAL, wellbeing, diversity, representation, and inclusion. We work across all SPI entities in the UK, Greece, and France, as well as projects operating in other locations, including Poland.
At present, the team comprises a Head of Operations & People, International Safeguarding & Protection Manager, International Operations & MEAL Manager, Youth Campaigns and Participation Manager, International Operations Coordinator and Operations Assistant.
The International Operations Manager will have a primary focus on day-to-day operations and human resources management. We are looking for a values-led operations professional, who is innovative and flexible in their approach to ensure the internal infrastructure of the organisation is equitable and tailored to the people we work with.

Working in the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) community is the mainstay of our current activity, and whilst your credibility and our work in this area will remain important to us in our shared future, we’re looking to appoint an inspiring and commercially savvy Programme Lead who will bring experience of working across wider, often complex systems and sectors within social care, education, health, and locality based supports, to expand our work and impact in new ways. Your experience and specialist knowledge could include Autism, Looked After Children, Young Offenders, Mental Health, and Wellbeing.
As a member of our Leadership & Strategy group, the Programme Lead will be responsible for resource planning, providing direction and great support to our colleagues, ensuring that the work NDTi delivers is consistently of high quality, and that the activities and achievements of the team contribute towards the strategic direction and priorities of the wider organisation.
With well-developed commercial and sector expertise, you will be a skilled and sensitive communicator with excellent planning and strategic development skills.
