Mary Hare educates 200 profoundly deaf children at its residential school in Berkshire, and we pride ourselves on our pupils’ achievements at GCSE, A Level as well as B Tech and Vocational Courses. The Role:

The organisation has a good track record of raising substantial sums for major capital developments including an arts centre, new residential accommodation and most recently £4 million for a new Primary School for deaf children. You will be responsible for a small team and will need to be able to secure major donations from Trusts, Foundations and individuals. The role is varied and takes in most areas of fundraising. You will also be responsible to for raising unrestricted funds annually.
The Fundraising Manager will manage the Trusts Fundraiser. The role works across two organisations: The Mary Hare Foundation and Mary Hare. These are two separate registered charities. The Mary Hare Foundation is the fundraising arm and Mary Hare is concerned with service delivery.
The largest fundraising targets are related to capital projects that are outlined by the School.There are some revenue fundraising targets, including the bursary scheme. The role is very hands on with both the management of fundraising and the implementation of fundraising activities, especially trust fundraising.
About you:
We are looking for someone with proven experience securing funding from trusts and foundations, with a strong track record of writing successful applications for significant grants (£200k+). You will be a confident and persuasive writer, able to communicate our impact concisely and compellingly, while building strong and long-lasting funder relationships.
Proactive and tenacious, you excel at identifying and pursuing new funding opportunities. Highly organised, with keen attention to detail, you can manage multiple applications and deadlines effectively.
You will be familiar with organising a wide range of events and understand what makes a successful fundraising event.You will have experience of stewarding high level givers as well as securing donations from individuals and companies.You will also have:
- Excellent written skills to create accurate, powerful, compelling and persuasive copy in a range of formats.
- Ability to match the needs of prospective funders with the needs of the charity.

About the role

Role summary
To support the Head of Fundraising and Communications in the delivery of the communications and fundraising strategy at ReMind UK through planning, production and delivery of on and offline marketing communications. You will work with ReMind UK's Content Executive to plan content and delivery of regular social posts and emails to supporters and beneficiaries as well as design and production of leaflets, posters and adverts. ReMind UK is an independent charity and internationally renowned centre for research, diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. Our research aims to improve life for people with dementia and their families and carers, and to find drug and non-drug treatments for people with conditions such as Alzheimer's disease and other diseases predominantly affecting older people. Our contracted NHS Memory Clinic service, private memory assessments and allied activities also provide support to people affected. We are currently in an ambitious phase of development looking to Increase our clinical and academic research programme. The role
As Marketing Officer, you will play an important role in helping ReMind UK to realise its vision by overseeing marketing for ReMind UK. You will line manage a Content Executive and together you will design, produce and disseminate materials and communications to raise the profile of the organisation and its work, and in turn raise funding to enable ReMind UK to continue its vital research and support for people affected by dementia.
You will plan and deliver an annual calendar of social posts and adverts, emails, marketing and PR activities including digital and print through organic and paid for media, and working with local organisations and groups. The team delivers support through face-to-face, telephone, video, and digital channels, and is strengthened by a committed group of volunteers and a collaborative working environment.
As Advice Supervisor you will play a key role, along with our other supervisors, in maintaining and developing the quality of this service. You will supervise and contribute to the delivery of advice, ensuring we meet the targets and outcomes of our advice contracts and grant agreements. We are looking for someone with experience of delivering generalist advice and casework to a high standard, and the ability to support others to do the same. While we welcome experienced supervisors, we are also open to considering this as a development opportunity for an experienced adviser ready to take the next step in their career.

Location: Home-based, with occasional travel for meetings and events. We provide equipment to support you working from home and pay reasonable expenses when you need to travel for work.

Job overview We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing strategy for our conferences, events, membership and consultancy services within the education sector.
