The Supporter Donations Queries Team at Macmillan are looking for x2 Supporter Donations Assistants to play their part in helping Macmillan's supporters and stakeholders do whatever it takes for people living with cancer. We have two roles available within our Supporter Donations Queries Team. Whether you are a recent graduate looking to gain customer care experience within a large, complex, and successful charity or you are seasoned supporter/customer care or administrational professional looking to broaden your experience and are keen to contribute to the work of a busy, friendly, and high-performing team, or whether you are looking to change your career and have the skills needed to excel in a customer service role, we want to hear from you.

You’ll be processing high volumes of income and inputting donations on our income system, resolving queries from our supporters & internal stakeholders, sending personalised thank you letters and helping to process Gift Aid sponsorship forms. In addition, you will undertake a range of admin duties in general support of the smooth and effective operation supporter donations as a whole, here at Macmillan. 

You will liaise with stakeholders across the organisation including our Finance team, colleagues across Supporter Care, Relationship Fundraising Managers and product teams in order to accurately thank and process supporter donations received by Macmillan across all channels. Including processing online event registrations & donations, revalidating eligible Gift Aid, cleansing data and addressing all queries related to donations. You will be delivering recognisable, high quality Macmillan experiences in line with Brand and Strategy guidelines and messaging. 

Initial training is due to be delivered in the London office - arrangements to be discussed dependent on contractual location.

The role

Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in collaborating across teams to support the Executive Director and senior leadership team to become more effective and strategic in their work. They will provide support to the leadership and governance of the organisation, working closely with the Executive Director, Director of Philanthropic Partnerships, Director of Finance and Operations and other team members as required to provide high-quality administrative and communications support to the organisation. They demonstrate knowledge and experience in charity/nonprofit administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to ensure accuracy of work and demonstrate precise attention to detail. They have experience dealing with administrative processes and office administration, especially in a non-profit, remote organisation. They will have skills to give, receive and work with feedback constructively. They must be meticulous with exceptionally strong follow-up and follow-through skills and have the ability to work under high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines. They should have excellent interpersonal understanding, relationship building, and interpersonal skills to build strong alliances with diverse constituencies with experience working with diverse communities from multiple identities across the globe, in a virtual environment. 

They also thrive in a virtual environment, motivated to take on challenges and collaboratively find innovative and creative solutions. 

English fluency is a must.

ICT is critical to delivery of the Hope into Action vision of every church lovingly making a home for those experiencing homelessness. We have experienced rapid growth across the UK and are now in 35 towns. Our ICT provides a vital window for each town in the Hope into Action network of people, policies, document storage and training resources. Our internal ICT capacity is mission critical. Our first line helpdesk is outsourced. This role will take the lead on several key projects that will ready out ICT infrastructure for the next phase of growth.

Our ICT Network Lead is both a strategic and user-empowering role. For this role, you would be someone who is flexible with an ability to keep systems running smoothly whilst at the same time pursuing improvements.

You will manage the outsourcing of IT contracts, including help desk, finance, CRM databases, mobiles, landline, internet and printers / copiers. The Role  

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with up to 3 years of experience in administration which includes administering and monitoring databases. The post will provide the Team with accurate, timely and comprehensive data, reports and minutes to support and enable effective grant making and decision making. The post plays a crucial role in supporting the whole Team in the UK and in Africa with the potential for visiting Egmont Partners and projects in southern & eastern Africa. 

The successful candidate will be highly IT competent, possess good written communication skills and have a positive attitude and strong desire to help meet the objectives of this small but very effective international development charity. A keen eye to detail, a methodical and analytical mind are critical requirements of the role. The ideal candidate will be young self-motivated, capable of working as part of a team and under their own initiative. Strong IT knowledge and experience in MS Office and data administration are essential requirements of the role. 

Flexibility will also be a key attribute. They will be part of a small team who have overlapping responsibilities and support each other in the delivery of Egmont’s strategy. Egmont is a fully remote office environment. As such, candidates from around the UK are invited to apply. We have staff, trustees and other key contacts in Cardiff, London, Lusaka & Harare. Our support staff will need to be flexible and able to work well with a geographically dispersed team.

The role

As Forward Action’s Partnerships Officer, you’ll support the Partnerships Director to build and maintain strong relationships with our partners, so we can help them achieve change on everything from climate change to refugee rights. 

In this fast-paced role, you’ll manage the administration side of our partnerships, from initial contact and briefing, through proposal management, all the way to issuing contracts and drafting scopes. You’ll work across multiple projects and deadlines, managing processes, organising meetings, following up action points, and keeping accurate partnership records. 

You’ll champion the partner experience and ensure we always deliver value. This includes meeting with organisations to explore their goals, and briefing colleagues on new partners’ needs. You’ll also lead on our marketing and webinar programme, coordinating plans and working with colleagues and freelancers to deliver outstanding content. 

This is a busy role with lots of opportunities to learn new skills, and you’ll be supported by a kind, open and inclusive team. We prioritise work/life balance, offering flexible working and a four-day week. As a Forward Action employee, you’ll co-own the company and share in its success. 

About you

You’ll have experience as an account manager or another relationship-based role in fundraising, events, sales or marketing. You might have worked in an agency or the NGO sector, but this isn’t essential.

Summary of role responsibilities 

• Manage a portfolio of international childhood cancer research projects, engaging stakeholder expertise where appropriate and providing administrative, operational, and relationship management support.  

• Monitor and evaluate the impact of Solving Kids’ Cancer UK’s patient-centric research programme, working closely with the Communications and Campaigns Manager to effectively communicate this to a wide range of audiences.

About the role:

The role of Triage and Early Interventions Officer (TEIO) is a fast paced one which requires the post holder to answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to victims of crime and those accessing the service in Cumbria.

As a TEIO, you will;

• answer incoming calls, speaking to those affected by crime & manage a caseload
• make outgoing calls, assess needs and risks and action plan with callers
• work on the case management system to allocate cases, provide administration on cases and assess/ensure data quality
• liaise with other agencies where required to find out more information, give information or make referrals or give signposting information
• work with the wider team to ensure an effective, trauma informed service is given to those affected by crime

You will be a confident, compassionate and empathic person who can work well under pressure. You will be speaking to people who may be upset, angry or in emotional difficulties and will need to be composed, empathic and be able to quickly assess situations.

You will be confident in using your IT skills to work on a case management system, access phone and online systems, email and Microsoft Office programmes.
