Overview
IHF, an award-winning International Non-profit established in 2001, is on a mission to (1) educate impoverished children, igniting their highest potential and fostering loving, healthy communities, and (2) enlighten global citizens through hands-on experiences, both online and in person. We provide a platform for learning and practicing leadership skills, welcoming participants from kindergarten to retirement age.
Join our IHF Indonesia Center for the Global Leadership Development (GLD) program and make a genuine impact during your stay as a volunteer.
The Role
As a GLD participant, you'll engage in four hours of local on-site tasks in addition to four hours per day as a member of various International Online Teams. Your local tasks may include, but are not limited to:

Providing hands-on support for the center's daily operations

Engaging in cultural exchange, teaching classes, and organizing fun activities for our children, teens, and university students

Enhancing our children's education by participating in our online mentor and Study-Buddy programs

Taking charge of the management, design, and execution of community-led projects aligned with your academic or professional expertise

Overseeing local and international volunteers, shaping their experience at our Indonesian IHF Centers.
Your international online tasks may include, but are not limited to:

Essential Requirements
We welcome volunteers who:
Have confidence in using basic English language (both spoken and written)
Possess a passion for international development, with a strong focus on universal education
Share career development goals aligned with IHF's mission
Eligibility
The program calls for a college diploma or university degree and a minimum commitment of four months, although we encourage volunteers to stay for up to one year. All volunteers enjoy one day off per week and a four-day holiday per month.

As a welcome desk volunteer, you will be the welcoming face of Magpas Air Ambulance at our exciting new base in Alconbury Weald.
You will greet visitors at the centre, addressing any needs whilst giving exceptional customer service. WK Foundation cares deeply about providing opportunities for young adults from low income contexts through practical skills & socio-emotional training and job opportunities. WKF is a recently registered charity in South London, seeking to add trustees to their board to add skills & bring diverse voices that will best represernt our young adults. Our work is dedicated to reconnecting low income urban communities with sustainable food pathways, with the aim of breaking the cycles of poverty that are perpetuated by dysfunctional food systems. We are currently re-developing our holistic hospitality training programme called Nourish, for an October 2025 launch. Nourish provides hands on skills training, work experience and employment opportunities, as well as employment progression and support for young adults from low income context facing disadvantages. About the roles
As a Trustee for Abbey Multi Academy Trust (Abbey MAT), you play a crucial role in overseeing the effective governance and administration of the Trust. The duties of a Trustee are:

Trustees will need time to read the reports in preparation for meetings. Individual Trustees often contribute in other ways supporting working groups or task and finish activity.

As a collection tin volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting us to raise our profile and fundraise within your community.
You will look after the Magpas Air Ambulance collection tins within a designated area, replacing full tins and returning them to an agreed location. You can also help us by finding new locations in which to place tins. These collection tins are an important part of how we raise money, raising approximately £20,000 per year.
As a collection tin volunteer, you will be expected to:
- Represent Magpas Air Ambulance in a respectful and friendly manner
- Understand the work of Magpas Air Ambulance, having basic knowledge and enthusiasm for our service
- Wear your Magpas Air Ambulance ID badge, ensuring it's visible at all times
- Travel to your collection tins (on two or four wheels). Where motorised vehicles are used, you must hold a full UK driving license, have a road-worthy vehicle with up-to-date road tax, MOT certificate (where applicable) and fully comprehensive insurance.
- Establish the regularity of required tin collections in your area, keep a log of your activities and feedback to the Supporter Care Officer
- Proactively replace full collection tins as needed and deliver them to an agreed location within one working day of collection
- Place new tins in locations within your area, ensuring they are accurately labelled with the location and organisation's name
- Inform the Supporter Care Officer of any new tins placed or any changes, helping us to ensure records are accurate and kept up to date
- Follow all Magpas Air Ambulance policies and procedures, including reporting any accidents and incidents
- Recognise, respond to, and report any safeguarding issues or concerns

Those of us who have received a free education "pass it on", helping others less fortunate by teaching, interacting, and learning. With just a few hours a week or a month, our volunteers, mentors, children, and sponsors are changing the world we live in.
