Job Purpose
Finance
• To lead and manage the Harris Federation finance function so that Harris delivers its educational aims and objectives as well as meets all DfE and EFSA requirements

This role is reporting directly to the Finance Director of Operations and the responsibilities will involve leading the rent-setting process and conducting thorough financial reviews.
This is a hybrid working role 1-2 days in the office based in Central London.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical advice to the organization and ensure that the organisation complies fully with the Rent Standard of the Regulator of Social Housing and individual rent agreements

The role
Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in collaborating across teams to support the Executive Director and senior leadership team to become more effective and strategic in their work. They will provide support to the leadership and governance of the organisation, working closely with the Executive Director, Director of Philanthropic Partnerships, Director of Finance and Operations and other team members as required to provide high-quality administrative and communications support to the organisation. The Executive Administrator will build strong relationships across GGF’s global team. The Executive Administrator will perform key support and clerical functions - preparing correspondence, research and briefings, handling confidential information, and taking notes at meetings. They will also support the management of large, often cross-functional organisation-wide initiatives, bringing together important stakeholders to help drive decisions. The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, and/or grant-making organisation. They demonstrate knowledge and experience in charity/nonprofit administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to ensure accuracy of work and demonstrate precise attention to detail. They have experience dealing with administrative processes and office administration, especially in a non-profit, remote organisation. They will have skills to give, receive and work with feedback constructively. They must be meticulous with exceptionally strong follow-up and follow-through skills and have the ability to work under high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines. They should have excellent interpersonal understanding, relationship building, and interpersonal skills to build strong alliances with diverse constituencies with experience working with diverse communities from multiple identities across the globe, in a virtual environment.
They also thrive in a virtual environment, motivated to take on challenges and collaboratively find innovative and creative solutions.
English fluency is a must.

Duties and responsibilities
The Income Supervisor will manage all transactions relating to income, assisted by a Finance Assistant (income support), and working closely with the Senior Finance Assistant, and Finance Assistant (payments support). The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing the work delegated to the Finance Assistant (income support), reporting to, and supporting the Financial Controller.
Experience required
Proven experience in high level communication skills, both verbally and in writing are essential plus a proven ability in developing positive relationships with organisations and individuals across diverse cultures. Understanding of accounts to trial balance, excellent reconciliation skills, knowledge of accounting software and supervisory experience. A studier or part-qualified accountant is desirable, but a good level of general education and experience and a keen interest in aspects of the role would also be welcomed.
Conditions
The post is graded C1 which covers steps 14 to 19 on the ITF salary scale, with a salary range of £49,787.00 per annum plus an annual bonus of £4,148.92. Annual leave will be 22 days per annum pro-rata in the year of joining, rising to 23 days in the second year.

Overall Purpose of Role

Finance

Facilities Management

· Manage all operations budgets and external contract relationships in line with forecast ensuring value for money and delivery is in line with agreed project scope/specifications and high-quality service.

· Business Continuity and Disaster Management Plan reviewing to ensure risk management/mitigation.
Other
· Strategic management of the Saint Paul’s Centre and all business related to it, ensuring we meet our targets and ensuring good working relationships with clients to help secure repeat business from large clients.
· Oversight of the café, helping to improve our offerings and ensure management of the team and operational effectiveness.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional with a strong belief in the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion in helping to build high performing teams within the international anti-slavery sector. You will be leading a small HR team and will be responsible for developing and delivering an effective HR strategy across the global organisation. The role will report to the Managing Director, Finance and Administration.
This role will suit candidates with previous experience of leading an HR function, particularly those with experience working in a global organisation and / or within a charity and a personal passion for and commitment to social justice missions. You should be able to work independently – leading on the development of an HR strategy for the organisation, delivering on HR projects and providing high quality technical HR advice to managers across the organisation. You will be an excellent communicator, able to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment and comfortable leading others through change processes in a positive, collaborative and solutions orientated manner. You will be based in the Freedom Fund’s central London office and be working to support staff across the UK, the US, Brazil, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, Kenya, Nepal, Liberia, Nigeria, Myanmar and Indonesia – and other countries as and when our programmatic footprint grows further. The Freedom Fund currently has 47 staff based in the London office and 36 staff in our other global locations. Outside of the UK, our biggest teams are based in the US (11), Ethiopia (8) and Brazil (6).
Responsibilities
• Develop and deliver an HR strategy in collaboration with SLT that supports the organisation to deliver on its overall strategy as well as its Diversity, Equity and Inclusion vision and action plan.
• Monitor staff engagement and retention (including through an annual staff survey) and work with managers to continuously improve the Freedom Fund as a place to work.
• Provide HR analytics and recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team and Board.
• Provide high quality and timely HR advice and support to managers and staff globally.
• Keep up to date with employment legislation and best practice in the countries where Freedom Fund operates
• Work with the Managing Director of Finance and Administration and the Employer of Record in relevant jurisdictions to ensure legal compliance in all HR activities globally.
• Maintain and update the Staff Handbooks for the global staff team, ensuring that HR policies and procedures are well understood and adhered to across all jurisdictions.
• Lead on all performance management issues - including probationary and annual reviews, and employee relations issues such as grievance and disciplinary cases.
• Facilitate periodic benchmarking reviews of global remuneration and benefits, in line with the organisation’s pay policy.
• Manage the Employment Pathways Program alongside an external organisation to provide internships for those with lived experience of human trafficking and/or forced labour
• Manage the relationship and act as day-to-day point of contact for our Employers of Record globally and external payroll services in the UK, including ensuring that payroll changes are communicated and invoices are reviewed and submitted for payment in accordance with agreed timetables

Purpose of the Financial and Management Accountant role is to:
We are seeking to appoint a Financial and Management Accountant – Commercial and Projects for the Museum and its trading company (RAFMEL), as part of a small finance team. This is a varied role, encompassing a wide range of financial responsibilities, and the successful candidate will act as business partner to the RAFMEL commercial teams and Museum project leads, providing reporting and analysis to support decision-making, developing monthly performance reports to monitor progress and investigate variances, whilst also being responsible for day-to-day financial operations.
The successful candidate will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with the small finance team and build relationships with non-finance heads of departments. You will be experienced in working to deadlines and have an attention for detail required to produce accurate first-time reports. Proficiency in Excel is essential and experience working with Sage200 is highly desirable.
Key responsibilities of our Financial and Management Accountant include:
- Taking responsibility for preparation and first review of monthly management accounts (including income and expenditure statement, balance sheet, cashflow statement, funds summary, 3 salary summary) and performance reports for RAFMEL, in an accurate and timely fashion, including any associated commentary and key performance indicators (KPI)
- Being responsible for accurate recording of all income and expenditure associated with RAFMEL and the Museum’s major projects
- Reconciliation of daily takings sheets reports from both sites and accurate monthly reporting of income by activity
- Preparation and posting of all journals for RAFMEL, such as accruals, prepayments deferred income, salaries and payroll, intercompany transactions
- Developing and providing performance reports to monitor progress, investigate variances and update forecasts for major projects for the Museum & RAFMEL as required, taking ownership of the processes required
- Identifying and agreeing performance indicators with senior managers for the Museum and establishing the processes for collecting the data
- Supporting coordination of formal Internal Audit reviews across the Museum and follow up on actions identified, working with the Director of Finance & Resources and Senior Leadership Team
What we are looking for in our Financial and Management Accountant:
- Full Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or overseas equivalents) or part qualified

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated person with experience of low carbon retrofit, asset management, and business development to join Repowering London’s growing team. You will be a core part of our mission to tackle climate change and move towards a more inclusive and sustainable future.
This will be a high-profile role within the executive team of a nationally significant social enterprise that is at the leading edge of urban community energy, with significant ambitions for scale and impact. You will work alongside the Executive Team with shared responsibility for setting and realising the organisation’s goals, strategic priorities, and business plan.
Community Retrofit is a place-based approach to decarbonisation and community development, that creates low-carbon infrastructure, which is technically integrated at a local level, and provides direct benefits to local communities, for example through community ownership, affordable energy supply, or high-quality jobs.
You will be responsible for leading the Community Retrofit team. The team currently encompasses seven staff working across domestic and non-domestic:

Asset management
Rooftop solar is the most established asset type deployed by Repowering, with installations dating to 2013. Retrofit assessment and coordination services started in 2023, and communal heat network investments are expected in 2025.
You will be responsible for ensuring high quality installations of low carbon assets that perform as forecast.
You will lead the development of improvements to our processes for evaluating potential sites and deploying and maintaining low carbon assets and retrofit measures.
The role will require ongoing refinement of Repowering’s community retrofit offer to community groups, building owners and public bodies such as Local Authorities, and support the growth of long-term partnerships with our stakeholders, including supply chain partners.
In particular, working with the Repowering executive team you will support the incubation of a suite of a finance offers that allow a wider range of households, businesses and communities to participate in community retrofit.
You will also support Repowering’s work to increase employment opportunities for young people in the low carbon sector, through how we structure our procurement for installations and by the training programmes we run in-house and with partners.
The Community Retrofit Team is one of Repowering’s four key teams, which include Communities, Energy Supply, and Core Operations. Each of these teams supports the work of the others and ongoing coordination and communication will be an important part of the role to maximise the opportunities for learning and innovation across the organisation.
