Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and leading the wider supporter care team, the Individual Giving Manager is responsible for the end to end Individual Giving Programme. You will help maximise supporter recruitment and development opportunities whilst ensuring long-term growth for St Giles Hospice.
To manage the delivery of the Individual Giving Programme which includes recruiting new cash and regular giving supporters from a variety of multi-channel campaigns and initiatives. To deliver the warm campaigns such as cash appeals, regular giving, raffles and lottery.
To manage the stewardship of supporters through the proactive and effective data management, delivering an excellent supporter experience through targeted supporter journeys. To develop, deliver and proactively manage campaign plans, budgets, and reports for senior stakeholders.

Main Areas of Responsibility
- Oversee all income processing for the schools and federation.

- Assist with various ESFA submissions and audits
- Oversea Reconciliation and review of monthly inter-academy recharges
- Review of monthly journals (e.g. prepayments, deferred income, academy recharges)
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for improving value for money
- Work closely with other departments and Hubs within the central federation such as procurement to ensure that we have clear and smooth processes between departments

We are looking for an excellent people manager with a strong technical background in legacy administration. You will have significant probate experience gained preferably in a charitable environment, be an expert in dealing with contentious matters and will ideally be a member of the Institute of Legacy Management.

For a leading global NGO, we're recruiting a Project Financial Controller for a fixed term of 12-months. Reporting to the Senior Financial Controller and working closely with the CEO, this role will lead the financial management and internal controls for the Regional and Country offices and shared service processes and transactions. The Projects Financial Controller will implement robust management reporting, and cash-flow forecasts, and will work with stakeholders to monitor budgets and forecasts. Our Finance Department works as a team of experts to safeguard resources and support decision making across Shelter. About you

You’ll also need excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to work to deadlines and reprioritise tasks when necessary.
Excellent analytical skills, impeccable attention to detail, a high level of numeracy and intermediate Excel skills are all ‘must haves’ too, as is proficiency in the main Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Word. Additionally, it would be an advantage if you have experience working in a Charity and have associated experience of managing restricted funds and fundraising.

As a Senior Manager, Philanthropy, you will focus on developing and managing strategic, high-value relationships with Trusts and Foundations. The Senior Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing a global fundraising strategy at a key time of organizational growth. Who you are
- Must reside and be eligible to work in the locations stipulated above.

- You have a proven track record of relationship building to secure grants at seven figure and above level.
- You have 5 or more years of fundraising experience, preferably with Foundations or High Net-Worth Individuals.

Your day-to-day
You will support the execution of CDPs philanthropic fundraising strategy.
You will manage a portfolio of strategic, high-value donors, building strong relationships and implementing creative solicitation plans to maximise donor engagement and income.
You will research, develop and secure funding from new donors, with a strong focus on funders with a potential to give 7-8 figure grants.
You will develop an excellent knowledge of CDP’s work, liaise with colleagues to prepare and present high-quality information such as tailored presentations and proposals for the donor.
You will build excellent external working relationships at all levels with donors, their staff and networks in order to directly influence their decisions.

About the Team:
The WaterAid IT team is customer-facing with a remit for front-line service operations, cyber security, technology change and project delivery, in addition to the development and support of IT infrastructure and application services running across our global organisation. The team also has direct responsibility for 250+ staff working in the UK and provides services and support for WaterAid staff across 20+ countries.
About the Role:
- Manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities whilst creating a sense of teamwork by pulling together colleagues with differing skillsets and expertise.
- Implement processes for tracking procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement of all IT assets including hardware, software, and licenses. This will require collaboration with our managed service provider.
- Act as the ITSM tool global administrator, assisting country program offices with maintenance, support, access, development of processes & training.
- Develop, update, and enforce IT policies and procedures in alignment with industry standards and organisational goals.
- Manage the IT departments hub on the internal intranet platform, ensuring that it provides up-to-date information, news, and resources to employees.
- Oversee the transition of completed IT projects from the internal IT operations team, with potential collaboration from 3rd parties to the MSP service delivery team.
- Collaborate with the finance department to code, integrate, and maintain IT-related financial transactions in the organisation's financial systems ensuring accurate allocation of costs, budgets, and expenses related to IT operations.
- Provide oversight and leadership to the Global IT Operations team to ensure a high-quality service is delivered that meets the needs of the stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain a centralised knowledge base repository containing technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, best practices, and user manuals.
- Ensure that IT policies are communicated effectively to all relevant stakeholders and are consistently followed.
- Evaluate and implement automation tools and technologies to streamline repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce human error.
- Develop technical relationships with key suppliers and business partners.
- Ensure that project handover agreements are clearly defined, detailing responsibilities, documentation, support processes, and timelines.
- Develop and manage the IT operations budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
- Organise the establishment and configuring of training resources for global IT staff as required.
About You:
- Proven experience in IT Service Management.
- Effective leadership and team management skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive collaboration.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of ITIL framework and practices to ensure effective IT operations.
- Experience of working in technical teams delivering complex solutions.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills and experience of liaising with senior stakeholders to deliver activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify process bottlenecks and implement improvements.
- Project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical information clearly to various stakeholders.
- Be able to demonstrate evidence of delivering successful target operating model improvements.
- Adept at using relevant software tools and platforms for asset management, knowledge base management, project management, and more.
Desirable skills
- IT Project Management expertise
- ITIL Certification
- In depth knowledge of the agile delivery cycle.
- Worked with a Managed Service Provider in a previous role.

The Management Accountant is a key role that will provide in-year financial management, produce financial reports and add insight and analysis to meet budget holder needs.
Key responsibilities of the role will include;
- Budget management, working with budget holders to develop robust budget plans and monitor delivery
- Support budget holders with monthly forecasting
- Identify and monitor budget risks and opportunities, supporting stakeholders to develop mitigating actions

In order to be successful in the role, you will need to be either formally qualified or working towards qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIPFA) as well as extensive financial experience, including journals and accruals, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis.
Experience gained in a government department or ALB/NDPB would be preferred however applications from within wider Not for Profit or public sector organisations would also be encouraged.

With 2,400 members, the IPS is dedicated to advancing infection prevention and control (IPC), playing a pivotal role in supporting IPC professionals, promoting best practices, and influencing policy to prevent infections.
The organisation is transitioning away from being a association-management / volunteer-led model to a small secretariat, hiring its first CEO and five other positions, including this most senior finance role. You will lead on the transition process covering all aspects of financial management, to ensure the Society’s financial integrity and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial transition to an in-house model.
- Creating and testing all internal processes.
- Oversee Statutory accounts, budgeting, credit control, financial reporting and compliance.
- Manage payroll and pension scheme implementation.
- Forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and support with audit.
- Investigate potential new income generation schemes with CEO.
Requirements:
- Accountancy qualification (CIMA, ICAEW, AAT, ACCA, etc.)
