Job Purpose
Lead and develop the charity’s HR and Volunteering functions (People) to foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive work environment, in line with the organisation’s values and EDI objectives

Key Tasks

Leadership

• Work with the People Sub-Committee (PSC) and SMT to develop and implement organisational people strategies and plans to support the delivery of our organisational strategy for older people.
• Have responsibility for our progress against these plans; measure and report this to PSC and SMT, including by administering our annual people survey, volunteer survey and trustee survey. Identify areas that require improvement and make recommendations for change.

People management

• Oversee People-related policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with UK employment law and best practices.
• Support the development and implementation of Learning and Development (L&D) initiatives.
• Provide support and guidance to those in line management roles within the organisation including on performance management issues and processes.
• Provide line management and support to the Community and Volunteer Manager, ensuring 6 their work aligns with organisational priorities.
• Manage complex employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and change management.

Administration

• Ensure all employee compliance requirements are met, including DBS checks, right to work documentation, and up-to-date staff records.
• Work with the DFO to ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll processing)

Quality

• Ensure that AUKEL’s People policies and procedure are in compliance with the Charity Quality Standard.
• Strive for excellence through the people in the organisation.

Liaison

• To participate to the National Age UK HR network to exchange insight and learn good practice.
• To liaise with our Solicitor team to ensure compliance when managing complex cases.
• To represent AUKEL and participate in appropriate external meetings and events in order to remain aware of local, regional and national issues affecting quality and compliance issues affecting charitable companies.
• To attend relevant HR/ Employment Law seminars or work groups as the AUKEL HR ambassador.

General

• To meet regularly with the CEO for support, supervision and appraisal.
• To attend team and staff meetings, as required.
• To undertake any other duties within the competence of the post holder as may be required
from time to time for the continued smooth running of Age UK East London.

• Significant experience of a Generalist HR role including managing employee relations in compliance with UK employment law.

• identify and manage the victims immediate service needs
• contribute towards risk assessment processes and following agreed safe contact processes

The nature of service required will vary depending on individual circumstances and specified outcomes will be achieved through building trust and confidence with victims who will be vulnerable and have complex needs.

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to provide professional, accurate, and timely financial management and reporting for Repowering London. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in supporting our sustainable growth by ensuring sound financial control, analysis and statutory compliance. To succeed in this new role, you will need to be a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management, and a genuine commitment to Repowering London’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

· Management & Statutory Reporting: Prepare monthly management accounts, reconcile balance sheet accounts, complete statutory returns (VAT, Companies House, FCA), and support annual audits.

· Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with annual budgets, reforecasts, cashflow statements, and ad hoc financial projections.

· Business Partnering: Provide financial insights to the management team and project leads, supporting effective decision-making and project financial reporting.

About the role

This role will be an expert resource to support the Housing Income Team on legal issues and best practice on all aspects of income management and debt recovery. Ensuring collection of the maximum amount of rental income to ensure sufficient revenue to maintain a first-class housing service, and good quality, safe homes as well as compliance with all relevant legislation, including the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023. There will be a focus on reviewing, implementing and monitoring of tenant service charges and legislative changes which may impact on what we can collect.

The role will help drive a positive performance culture with a tenant centred approach and will manage a small team of Tenancy Sustainment Officers as well as deputise for the Income Management Team Leader in their absence.

About you

You should be educated to degree level or able to demonstrate significant experience in an equivalent role, have a high level of literacy and analytical skills and experience of working with a range of client groups within the community. Working knowledge of housing, landlord and tenant legislation, regulations, standards and core disciplines of work area is essential for this role as is experience of successfully managing staff, debt recovery and service charging in a social housing setting.

You must be an excellent communicator, be literate and be able to use a range of Microsoft Office products and work specific software packages. There is a requirement for you to also be available as part of the council’s emergency planning arrangements subject to service requirements.

A clean driving licence and access to a car is essential for this role.

About the role
This new role will suit someone who’s proactive, creative, and passionate about connecting people to a cause that truly matters. You’ll manage a mix of community fundraising, individual giving, and supporter stewardship, helping to drive campaigns, build relationships, and make sure every supporter feels valued.

Roughly, your time will be split between:

• 30% supporter stewardship
• 30% events and community fundraising
• 40% multi-channel campaigns

You’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering key elements of our fundraising strategy across individual giving, community, and corporate income.
• Building and maintaining meaningful relationships with donors and local supporters.
• Managing our Beacon CRM system, ensuring data accuracy, GDPR compliance, and supporter segmentation.
• Planning and delivering engaging multi-channel fundraising campaigns.
• Supporting events and community fundraising initiatives.
• Working with our CEO and Finance & Communications Manager to deliver inspiring communications and materials.

About you
You will quite likely be already working in fundraising or you might be ready to step up into a more varied and creative role. Either way, you’ll bring:

• Experience or understanding of individual giving, community, or corporate fundraising.
• Strong communication skills and a relationship-building mindset.
• Confidence using CRMs (ideally Beacon) and analysing donor data.
• A proactive, organised approach and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A collaborative, can-do attitude and genuine enthusiasm for our mission.

About the role:

This role is a hybrid post and your location will be Dyfed Powys Police Headquarters in Carmarthen.
As a Triage & Early Intervention Officer you will:

• Directly support victims affected by crime & ensure the provision of tailored one-to-one support
• Assist those victims in ensuring they receive the support required to complete their journey through the criminal justice system to cope and recover from the impact of crime and help people to move beyond the crime and access additional support services.
• Develop networks of agencies to which victims can be referred for ongoing/specialist support and report on the effectiveness of relationships with partners with a view to improving services delivered by Victim Support
• Work alongside a team of staff to reflect the community and the needs of the victims and utilise resources in the team to deliver individual, bespoke services to vulnerable victims

We recognise that effective engagement is a key component in delivering a sustainable future and enabling domestic retrofit at scale.

As Community Engagement Officer, you will work to support various programmes that are, in the main focused on enabling decarbonisation of the UK housing stock, enabling warm, healthy homes. These programmes are as follows

· A programme of workshops and outreach events focusing on two neighbourhoods in Southwark and on the whole of the borough of Greenwich. The purpose of the outreach is to raise awareness about the benefits of retrofitting their homes and provide support to households who want to install measures. Your role will be to design and deliver a programme of outreach, engagement and awareness raising about the benefits of retrofit and to support residents on their retrofit journey

· Lewisham Council is planning a major retrofit programme for the council housing in Lewisham. Selce is supporting the local authority. Our role is to enable residents to understand the benefits of retrofit and to support any vulnerable residents to accommodate work in their homes. Your role will be to plan and deliver an engagement programme that engages residents, TRA's, local community groups, local champions to communicate the benefits of retrofit

· In 2026 we expect to be launching a new Community Share Offer and to raise Community Share capital to finance solar PV/ LED Retrofit in local community sites. Your role will be to contribute to a broader effort to raise awareness about the share offer in Southeast London

Ideally you will be locally based in South East London, with a strong links to the community and an interest in and some experience around climate issues and community retrofit. Your role will be to engage residents through in-person or online events. You will use a range of engagement techniques including workshops, community events, eco home tours and ‘retrofit parties’, supporting ‘resident champions’ to promote retrofit and occasionally doorknocking. You will support the wider team’s online communications – through owned channels, social and print media.

You will also work to build peer support networks, enabling residents who have retrofitted their homes to share their learning. Your role is to understand the needs of householders in relation to warmth, wellbeing, energy costs and climate and work to understand how our projects can best respond to those needs.

There is a strong possibility that this role could be extended beyond the initial 8 month fixed term period

Required Skills & Experience:

Essential Skills and Experience

· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a community engagement, participation or outreach role.

· Experience of working with diverse and hard-to-reach communities.

· Experience of coordinating volunteers or of volunteering yourself.

· Experience of having worked with either community sector or local authorities or other public sector bodies.

· Experience of facilitating a group or of being part of a community group that worked together to achieve a shared goal or bring about a positive community outcome.

· Experience of leading meetings including experience of the preparation and delivery of presentations and reports to varied audiences – good people-facing skills.

· Knowledge of the energy efficiency and retrofit and an understanding of the whole house and fabric first approaches to domestic retrofit.

· Familiarity with community energy and community shares.

· Experience of working in schools or with children/young people

· Ability to work independently and take initiative, demonstrating self-motivation and accountability with minimal supervision.

· To be well organised and self-motivated, but also able to contribute effectively working as a team member. Experience of outcomes-based project monitoring and evaluation.

Desirable

· Competency in Microsoft Office applications

· Competency in Canva or InDesign or other similar design software for creating print or online visual content

· Experience of social media – creating graphics and text for a social media campaign

· Photography skills

· Experience of providing energy advice or retrofit advice.

About the role

The purpose of this role is to support the Centre Manager in managing the facility known as SCTC Raleigh which is hosted at HMS Raleigh. We operate within and as part of HMS Raleigh, this requires significant co-ordination and liaison across the wider team at HMS Raleigh. The purpose of SCTC Raleigh is to facilitate and support the delivery of cadet training for all organisations of the Royal Navy Cadet Forces. This role is responsible for facilities management and health and safety reporting to the Centre Manager.

Responsibilities

· To support the Centre Manager to facilitate all activity hosted at the centre

· Lead on arranging all logistics in support of the centre’s activities

· Ensure the centres facilities are maintained appropriately

· Manage the routine health and safety records and actions for the Centre Manager

Requirements

· Strong administrative and organisational skills.

· Experience/knowledge of uniformed and/or youth organisations

· Experience working within the Military environment preferably Royal Navy.

· Can demonstrate ability to form and maintaining collaborative relationships.

· Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends

CARE International UK is looking for a Programme Officer to provide administrative support within our Programme and Policy Department.
