 We are seeking a Gaming Partnerships Manager to join our team. The Public Affairs Manager will be a key member of our busy External Affairs Team within the wider Policy and External Affairs directorate.

Reporting to the joint Heads of Public Affairs & Stakeholder Relations, and working closely with communications and public policy colleagues, you will play an essential role in enabling and driving engagement with parliamentary, government, political and sector stakeholders.

About the role

The Finance Officer will join a small and dynamic team that covers Finance, Human Resources, IT and Business Operations. The Team

Main Duties

• Maintaining the Purchase Ledger including processing supplier invoices, staff expense claims, grant and bursary payments, reconciling statements and making the relevant payments
• Maintaining the Sales Ledger including raising invoices and allocating receipts
• Cash management including checking bank transactions daily, allocating transactions on the accounting system and producing regular bank reconciliations. Paying in cheques and reconciling floats, if required

Methodist Ministers’ Housing Society (MMHS) provides quality housing and associated services for Methodist Church ministers and their spouses/partners. They currently support around 650 ministerial households across the UK, Isle of Man, and Channel Islands. MMHS has generated income mainly through rents from ministerial residents and market tenants, and investments. In their last financial year, total income was £5.7 million and total funds were £187.8m. The market rented portfolio is being sold and the proceeds of sale are being reinvested. The Job Role

As the Director of Finance, ICT and Investments, you will play a pivotal role in shaping MMHS’s financial strategy to support its strategic objectives and enable sound decision-making. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will have a strategic mindset, with the ability to provide insights to your senior colleagues, and you will provide advice and guidance to the board of trustees, becoming a trusted partner. You will develop and deliver financial plans, oversee financial systems to ensure robust control and compliance, and lead key financial activities such as monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts, projections, and annual audits. Additionally, you will identify financial challenges and opportunities, develop approaches to address them, and lead and motivate your small team to cultivate a high-performing culture.

In ICT, you will implement MMHS’s strategy effectively, leading transformation projects to modernise and improve technology infrastructure and processes. You will also manage relationships with MMHS’s external support and services provider.

The Person

This is a key post for the organisation, and they are looking for someone who can provide a long-term view while being ‘hands-on’ with day-to-day operations. The Mental Health Foundation is recruiting for a Senior Content Manager to join our Marketing and Digital Team.

Salary: Starting salary £41,800, plus London Weighting of £3,285
Hours: Full-time (as part of our 32-hour week pilot and may revert to 35 hours after July 2025)

This exciting Senior Content Manager role will lead on the Foundation’s content strategy and the delivery of high-quality content across all our channels in line with our strategic objectives and digital strategy.

What does the role involve?

• Lead on planning, creating and scheduling content
• Manage the relationship with our community management agency to ensure our online communities are kept engaged and supported.
• Setting the standard and ensuring the high quality of all content produced at the Foundation.

What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?

• Experience of writing and delivering content and social media strategies.
• Significant experience of planning and delivering extensive social media campaigns for large audiences.
• Experience of writing, creating and deploying a range of content for different audiences across digital channels, including website, email and social media.
• Ability to convey complex information and stories simply and effectively.

The role

Salix are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team in Manchester. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will be responsible for all aspects of the payments process, including supplier invoices, staff expenses, and grant payments. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an accounts payable environment and be confident in handling a variety of financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing purchase orders and supplier invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Resolving supplier queries efficiently and maintaining strong relationships.
• Managing staff cash expenses and company credit card transactions.
• Processing loan and grant payments in line with company policies.
• Monitoring the central accounts email inbox and responding to inquiries.
• Entering payments into NatWest Bank and managing Autopay uploads.
• Assisting with other ad hoc duties as required.

Key Criteria

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable
• Familiarity with bank cash management systems.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and NetSuite (or similar accounting software) skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach.

What Salix can offer you

• Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 (depending on experience)
