The Community Fundraising team supported by an incredible team of volunteers, stewards some of our most dedicated supporters, who organise events and bring their networks together to raise up to six figure sums. As Senior Community Fundraising Manager you will lead a team to grow income raised through community supporters, including individuals, local groups, schools and corporate organisations. and manage our volunteering programme.

You’ll be a highly skilled relationship manager and will play a key role in strengthening stewardship within the Community Fundraising team. You will also deliver first class stewardship to some of our most dedicated community fundraising supporters and engage with new supporters to raise five and six figure sums.

Main duties of the job

The Charity Director is responsible for driving the purpose and impact of Frimley Health Charity (FHC), ensuring the charity delivers meaningful benefits to patients, staff, and the wider community. The role combines strategic leadership with active operational involvement, across income growth and translating the charity’s vision into practical initiatives and improvements. The Director is the senior leader of Firefly International, responsible for driving the charity’s mission to support war-affected children through the provision of education, mental health and peacebuilding programmes delivered in genuine partnership with our overseas partners. JOB DESCRIPTION

The Director’s role is to lead Firefly International in its mission to safeguard, extend and develop the activities conducted by its overseas partners.  Within that over-arching goal, to:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Income Generation

Stakeholder Engagement

• Represent Firefly at events and within networks relevant to its mission and objectives

Communications

• Ensure production of a high quality Annual Review and newsletters

•  Extend and develop our social media presence, ensuring high quality content.

Financial Management and Compliance

• Work with the Treasurer and Finance and Admin Officer to develop budgets and manage expenditure against them, providing accurate and timely information for the Board.
• Work with the independent examiner to facilitate a smooth process of examination of the annual accounts
• Ensure that Firefly remains fully compliant with all statutory authorities such as OSCR and that statutory reports and accounts are produced and filed to time.

This newly created role within St Luke's is supported by a generous grant from the Henry Smith Foundation to develop our wellbeing programmes over the next three years. The Associate Director will engage with dioceses and individual clergy as they explore and embed our wellbeing programmes. 

The post holder will represent St Luke's and our Christian ethos within senior diocesan teams and help shape and deliver our strategic vision for flourishing clergy. ABOUT THE ROLE

As Programme Coordinator, you’ll support the work of our Communications and Networks Team while helping keep our office and digital platforms running seamlessly.

Website and digital

• Maintain and update the Democracy Classroom website with resources and programme content.

• Work with colleagues to upload reports, blogs and event details.

Operations

• Oversee day-to-day office administration, including supplies, IT support liaison and record-keeping.
