Main purpose of post
To support accurate financial administration and effective donor data
management. This role is vital to ensuring that income from donations is
processed promptly and accurately, enabling timely thank-you
communications and excellent donor stewardship. The role will also undertake
data work to enable the charity to manage its data effectively, monitor its
service delivery and impact.

Key responsibilities
Donation Processing & Stewardship Support
 Accurately process all cash and cheque income batches into our
fundraising CRM and finance systems.
 Process and code incoming donations from a range of sources, including
online platforms (e.g JustGiving, Raisely, PayPal, Stripe, CAF, Enthuse).
 Ensure all funds are banked in a timely manner and act as the main
contact for arranging cash collections.
 Maintain and update the donor database with accurate donation records
and supporter details.
 Process supporter Gift Aid declarations and assist with submission of Gift
Aid claims.
 Liaise with the fundraising and communications teams to ensure donors
are thanked promptly and appropriately.
 Flag anomalies or issues with donation data to relevant staff to maintain
high standards of data quality and supporter care.

Finance Administration
 Support the monthly reconciliation of income between finance systems.
 Support the Finance Executives with processing purchase invoices, staff
expenses, and supplier payments in accordance with charity procedures,
as needed.
 Support monthly and quarterly finance reports and audits as required.

Data Management
 Ensure high standards of accuracy and integrity of CRMs and finance
databases through regular data cleaning and maintenance.
 Help compile reports for funders, internal monitoring, and annual
accounts.
 Assist the Data and Systems Manager with reviewing existing systems
and processes to identify opportunities for improvements.
 Follow GDPR and internal data handling policies when processing
supporter and financial information.

General administration and collaboration
 Work closely with colleagues in data, finance and fundraising.
 Undertake other administrative duties as required by the line manage

We’re recruiting a forward thinking, strategic and compassionate Head of Family Services to lead the development of our support services delivered by our team of Family Support Workers to families of children and young people with cancer in the East Midlands. This is a newly created role and a key position in our small, impactful charity.

Job Title: Senior Support Coach

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Support coach to join our team which focus on supporting residents with OPD (Offender Personality Disorder) and related cognitive or behavioural challenges, many of whom have experienced institutional care or social exclusion. You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the service, acting as a mentor and lead for the team, providing advice and guidance, as well as providing specialist expertise to the team and residents. 

You will further deliver one-to-one support with residents directly, developing personalised support plans, risk assessments, facilitating life skills sessions, and help individuals access services, resources, and opportunities within the community. Our support is tailored towards providing person centred support to empower our residents to achieve their personal goals and independent living. You will be instrumental in creating a safe, flexible, inclusive, and psychologically informed environment that promotes dignity, choice, and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities further Include:

• Delivering effective 1:1 and group-based support for residents/participants in line with support plans
• Providing specialist advice and guidance to the team and residents
• Acting as the first point of contact in the absence of management

About You

We're looking for someone who has knowledge and understanding of Offender Personality Disorder, able to share this with others and act as a mentor to resolving complex cases. You'll bring experience within a similar environment to the role, and have experience in supporting similar residents with areas of social care, supported housing, and community support. You will have a commitment to person-centred support and have an understanding of the importance of trauma-informed care, able to lead by example.

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

Working within experienced and committed teams, the Behaviour Change Worker will deliver trauma responsive interventions including one to one support and group work to prevent harm.

FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables.

There is a requirement for evening working – approximately once per week to deliver group work interventions. There may be a requirement to work weekends. 

Key Responsibilities

• Complete specialist risk assessments according to service guidelines and Respect standards, alongside developing personalised safety and support plans for programme participants.
• Deliver one to one specialist behaviour change interventions for people with vulnerabilities, complex or multiple needs and those who require additional support to access our services.
• Co-facilitate short term and long-term group work, providing a Respect accredited DVPP (Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme) programme.
• Promote the service externally and ensure our interventions are accessible.
• Provide proactive, trauma responsive and holistic support, with a focus on increasing victim safety and reducing the risk posed by a perpetrator.
• Work within a multi-agency framework to effect change, manage risk and ensure safeguarding of vulnerable adults and children is paramount.
• Offer professional consultancy, training and advice to other agencies on working with perpetrators.
• To work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the safety of the victim is held central.
• Represent the service user voice in a multi-agency context.
• Attend Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC) and Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) meetings as required.

General

ABOUT THE ROLE

Variety is looking for a PR and Communications Manager to join our growing team and take responsibility for our communications strategy to support fundraising, programmes and brand activities.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Content creation – identify and gather beneficiary stories and create compelling content for Variety’s communication channels  

•PR – develop a network of supportive media contacts and partners to effectively promote our work and proactively target journalists, writing and delivering press releases as needed

•Social media – oversee the social media calendar and have responsibility for the social content and channels. Have managerial responsibility for the Social Media Officer, ensuring content is planned in and comments are monitored with occasional weekend cover

•Interview beneficiaries of Variety, meeting family members, working with external agents (photographers, filmmakers) as necessary to give beneficiaries the best experience while gathering the most relevant information for story telling

•Produce stories with the Director of Fundraising and Communications in the best formats, ensuring brand compliance and accessibility

•Ensure consent is obtained at every stage of content gathering and materials are stored securely in line with GDPR legislation and Variety’s privacy policy

•Monitor and analyse our channels to identify trends and areas to improve

•Work with the Director of Fundraising and Communications on marketing and brand awareness campaigns

•Attend Variety events, maximising engagement and representing the charity 

•Manage the communications budget and ensure when using freelance or agency providers we have competitive rates

•Manage email marketing, including creating a monthly newsletter and expanding our reach by building our mailing list

•Manage the website content, ensuring brand consistency and working with external suppliers to manage any website improvements and SEO performance.

•  Collaborate with programmes team attending Sunshine Coach presentations and Great Days Out to gather content when required

•Collaborate with the fundraising team attending partnership, challenge and social events to gather content when required

•Keep records up-to-date on Variety’s shared drive and CRM system, manage the communications email inbox

Job overview 

The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing excellent, detailed and proactive administrative support to the Chief Executive. This includes diary management, event management, travel logistics and email management.  The post holder will also need to prepare presentations and carry out research as required.  It also includes liaison with Trustees, providing effective governance support to the Chair of Trustees, and for Council and Committee Meetings. Job responsibilities 

Chief Executive’s Office Management 

• To manage the CE’s office and assist with governance and administrative duties. 

• To act as the first point of contact for internal and external queries and monitoring and drafting correspondence coming to the Chief Executive’s office by phone, email and post.  Anticipate issues, assess priorities, and arrange appropriate responses. 

• Manage the Chief Executive’s diary and time, attendance at meeting and events, reservations, online access where appropriate and meeting preparation. 

• Organise travel and accommodation for Chief Executive and Members of the Trustee board as required. 

• All Governance Meeting arrangements including preparation and distribution of meeting papers, recording meeting and production of accurate minutes. 

• Manage an efficient filing system (electronic and paper-based) 

• Co-ordinate Senior Leadership Team meetings schedule and support these meetings, taking minutes, recording decisions and the circulation of relevant internal communications arising from SLT meetings. 

• Liaise with a wide range of contacts on behalf of the Chief Executive. 

• Organise all CE visitor arrangements ensuring HCP requirements are met. 

• To ensure all correspondence with key individuals is linked to RSN database.

Job Purpose

Your role is an integral part of the central team with responsibility for procedures, systems that support the effective, efficient, and compliant managing of our premises, IT systems and some HR functions.

You will play a key role in delivering and maintaining our offices and facilities, and the IT services for the whole organisation alongside our retained IT consultants.

By providing high quality operational and administrative support you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation. You will do this by:

• Supporting the Director of Finance and Operations in delivering and maintaining effective operational function at the charity. Including but not exclusively, Health & Safety, Insurance, Premises, Facilities, Vehicle Management, IT and CRM system services.

We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Mental Health & Wellbeing Project Worker to contribute to the development and delivery of flexible support services which address the psychological and emotional needs of children, young people and families living with the effects of domestic abuse, in North Tyneside and Northumberland. You will help to develop, organise and facilitate key aspects of the service as requested by the Team Coordinator such one-to-one support interventions, group work, and youth participation opportunities in a variety of settings including in-house, schools and community venues.

• Develop and deliver flexible one to one support sessions, using a range of interventions to assess and positively contribute to the individual wellbeing needs of children and young people impacted by domestic abuse.
