Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.

Overall job purpose

Our Health and Safety Officer will help us embed, maintain, and develop high standards of Health and Safety, across CCT’s estate and its people. They will work closely with our small Health and Safety Team to create, implement, and establish our Health and Safety policies and procedures, in accordance with current legislation. They will advocate for, and set an example around, best practice in Health and Safety.

The Lead Coach is primarily responsible for overseeing the training room and group sessions with young people. You will help shape the training environment and will confidently adapt and deliver materials and sessions to work within the group’s development towards work readiness.

Delivery of Spear Programme - Group and 1:1 coaching [60%]

• Preparing and coaching Spear Foundation sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme.
• Building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture, and attitudes in the training room.
• Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively.

Delivery of Spear Career [20%]

• Delivering weekly Spear Career sessions (including running workshops with past Trainees), maintaining records and reporting on statistics, and creatively developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees.

Training the Asssistant Coach [10%]

• Contributing towards the training and developing of the Assistant Coach by modelling excellent coaching and giving regular feedback.

Trainee recruitment [10%]

• Developing relationships with Job Centres and local referral agencies to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme. This involves liaising with referral agencies, active face-to-face recruitment and monitoring recruitment statistics.

Role Details

• Location: Remote. Travel required for in person team days 3 - 6 times a year and some travel across Oxfordshire.

The EMHIP (Ethnicity and Mental Health Improvement Programme) Mobile Hub Support Worker has been co-designed with individuals with lived experience of mental health care to provide direct, person-centred support to individuals in their local communities.

The Croydon BME Forum and Asian Resource Centre Croydon, in partnership with South West London Integrated Care System (SWL ICS) and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) are working together to address the ethnic inequalities in health and social care through the Ethnicity and Mental Health Improvement Programme (EMHIP). One of the key interventions of EMHIP is the implementation of the Mental Health & Wellbeing Mobile Hub. This is a mobile, all age, whole family hub service, delivered within both faiths based and community-based organisations.

The Mental Health & Wellbeing Mobile Hub team will be a dedicated team of experienced, culturally aware support workers and clinical staff embedded in the community to provide services to all local residents, but with a specific focus on BAME communities. This team will be based in different locations across the borough, working within BAME communities, alongside faith groups and existing wellbeing hubs in Croydon.

Job Summary

The Mobile Hub Team Support Worker is a skilled, knowledgeable, and empathetic person, who enjoys working with people, taking a person-centred approach. They must be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in an active setting, with people and professionals across the health and social care system. They will be practical, resilient, well organised and have excellent communication skills. 

As a Hub Support Worker, you will be responsible for working with the team, providing advice and practical help for local residents in need of mental health support or general well being/social support. You will work as part of a wider hub team, rotating between different community locations, providing one-to-one support, and making referrals to the team psychologist and secondary care services, as well as helping people to access other agencies and services, such as benefits, housing, debt services. Main responsibilities

• Working closely with CBME Forum Mobile Hub Team Manager

• Deliver one-to-one support to hub users and manage a caseload of individuals as agreed with the Hub Team Manager.

ABOUT THE JOB

Responsibilities: 

The overall responsibility of the Senior Advisor for Business Development and Donor Engagement is to develop, coordinate, and lead regional processes for business development and strategic programme development and support donor engagement and the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships in the region. The role also provides business development support to country programmes within the region upon request, and coordinates with relevant global functions to ensure regional efforts are in line with organisational strategies. 

Partnership Engagement 

• Contextualize global fundraising and engagement strategies for the region and develop regional donor engagement plans to foster and maintain constructive, long-term relationships with strategic regional donors and partners.

• Support HQ donor focal points with trends analysis and the like to enable DRC to preposition for opportunities in a timely manner.

Strategic Programmatic Development 

• Collaborate with regional programme and support teams including the Commercial Contracts and Consortia team to align and adapt strategic programmatic priorities and regional capacity with regional donor strategies and funding opportunities. 
• Under the direction of the Head of Global Foundations and Institutional donors and in close coordination with Head of Programme Support and relevant technical colleagues lead or support country programmes in the development of new, strategic, or complex interventions for prepositioning outside of country programme capacity or resources to maintain or diversity country portfolios

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role we expect you to build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with diverse regional donors, ensuring alignment between donor priorities and DRC programmes. It also requires proactive gathering and analysis of donor intel to identify funding opportunities and maintain and clear pipeline. Finally, close coordination with regional, country and HQ is key to success. Moreover, we also expect the following:

Required

• A minimum of  3 years of experience at a senior level leading strategic new business development, strategic engagement, and fundraising efforts.

The Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants (JCWI) is an independent charity established in 1967. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we set up our new RNID Near You service in Somerset working alongside our current RNID Near You in care homes service, Somerst Foundation Trusts Audiology team, and RNID’s Health Programme to develop and deliver a new self-referral pathway and wraparound service in the Somerset Foundation Trust area. As a Co-ordinator, you will focus on developing and delivering our volunteer lead community service across the Somerset area through sessions in community settings. The service will offer:

• practical hearing aid support
• information on hearing loss and tinnitus
• hearing checks

You will be responsible for setting up and co-ordinating sessions across the region and be able to recruit, train and manage a team of up to 30 volunteers to deliver the service across Somerset. You will work with NHS Somerset Foundation Trust audiology team and our local RNID Near You Somerset Care Home Co-ordinator to induct and train our volunteers to high standards. You will promote this service within the NHS Somerset Foundation Trust area to ensure maximum engagement and uptake. You will also be responsible ensuring all paperwork is processed correctly and reports to stakeholders are timely completed.

You want to make a difference in people’s lives and love to interact with various audiences, including volunteers, health & care professionals and service users. You have experience managing events, your own workload and are able to work evenings/weekends if required. Role Outline

Engaging with our local community is essential to the success of fundraising at Wicksteed Charitable Trust, ensuring that Wicksteed Park is here for future generations to enjoy. As Grants and Community Fundraiser you will work within our small, newly established Fundraising team delivering engagement activity to maximise income from the local community as well as researching and developing a Trusts and Foundations income pipeline.
