We are seeking a Fundraising Coordinator (Individual Giving) to join our small but dynamic Fundraising team.

The Individual Giving Fundraiser will play a vital role in increasing income from our existing supporters. You will support donor acquisition as well as taking the lead on retention of our supporters across multiple channels including cash appeals, regular giving, lottery and in celebration giving. The role.
This is an exciting role that sits on the senior leadership team with a significant amount of autonomy for an outstanding fundraiser and leader who is interested in further developing a fundraising function to eventually deliver c.£1.8m fundraising income per annum.
They are at a crucial stage in the evolution of their fundraising. Opened in 2019, our Youth Zone is founded on the OnSide funding model whereby the first four years of revenue is made possible primarily by major donors – Founder Patrons – who each committed a minimum of £25k pa for four years.
Now as they enter year five, they seek the continuation of this support and are in the initial stages of diversifying their income sources. They have also secured significant ringfenced funding to expand the fundraising team, and the incoming Director of Fundraising will have significant scope to shape the team around their vision and strategy. Successful achievement of goals and a sound strategy will allow for further growth in future years in order to sustain, diversify and enhance income.

Magic Breakfast provide a nutritious and filling breakfast to over 200,000 children and young people every school day. We work with schools in areas of high disadvantage, helping staff target the children most in need without barrier or stigma.

The Portfolio Development & Innovation Manager is part of the new Fundraising Planning team, following the launch of the Three Giants Fundraising strategy. This team is dedicated to putting our audiences at the heart of planning, and innovating to ensure we’re working towards our goals as effectively as possible.
As well as leading the annual review of our Fundraising portfolio, this role will be responsible for developing our new fundraising innovation strategy; working with teams across the organisation to understand what innovation means to the Legion and designing processes and toolkits to embed new ways of working as part of this approach.
We have a new strategy; a new structure and we’re now looking for new people to join our growing fundraising team. With your ambitious colleagues in Fundraising Planning, you’ll support the directorate to evolve and optimise our existing programme, drive efficiencies in the way we work and champion an audience-led approach that ensures strong relationships today and provide longer term opportunities to help fund our much-needed services in the years ahead.

You will be contracted to our London Haig House Hub. New Horizon Youth Centre has been commissioned by the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) as part of an Alliance with Safer London, St Giles Trust and the Anna Freud Centre to deliver on their Children and Young People’s Violence and Exploitation and Reduction support service. The commission will run from June 2024 for three years. As part of this, an additional service will be set up within the NHYC Youth Justice team specifically to deliver on the Alliance contract. The Services Manager will be the key operational lead for the Alliance, and oversee successful delivery of housing casework services to young people fleeing violence and exploitation who are referred in. You should have experience of working in services that support young people fleeing violence or who are impacted by the criminal justice system, and have a solid understanding of housing options for young people under 25. You should be exceptionally well organised and have excellent partnership management skills.
Salary: £37,024 - £41,600

Who we're looking for:
We are seeking a passionate and motivated stakeholder engagement specialist to work across our portfolio of programmes. The ideal candidate will be confident in building relationships with diverse stakeholders, particularly across the Education, Health and Social Care or Youth sectors, promoting our work and recruiting delegates to Ygam workshops. Outstanding communication skills, a strategic mindset and the ability to develop and implement engagement plans and projects are essential. Public speaking or training delivery experience would be beneficial.
Main roles & responsibilities:
You will be responsible for stakeholder engagement across Ygam’s portfolio of programmes. You will develop long lasting relationships with schools, colleges and children’s services, promoting Ygam’s work and recruiting delegates to our workshops.
You will work across the programme team, developing relationships throughout the UK, training professionals to understand the impact and risks of gaming and gambling. You will also be responsible for promoting and marketing the work of Ygam at conferences and events.
You may, on occasion be required to arrange and deliver our City & Guilds assured workshops, both online and face to face and provide support to delegates post training, updating all relevant records and CRM systems.
