• Support less experienced staff via positive and effective team working, to achieve high quality standards of care that are set and agreed by the Registered Manager on behalf of the Trust.

Summary

The Lead Strategy and Impact Analyst plays a key role in developing practical, evidence-based policies that support effective mission and ministry approaches within the Church of England's Vision and Strategy priority areas.

In this role, you will analyse and synthesise data from evaluations of funded programmes, commissioned research, and wider social trends, building a coherent evidence base to inform both policy and practice.

As a member of the Insights and Engagement sub-team, you will work collaboratively across departments and teams to:

• Support strategic projects through analysis, reporting, and evaluation
• Engage with key stakeholders, fostering communication and knowledge sharing
• Assess the impact of grant-funded projects to ensure meaningful outcomes.

• Convert analysis into actionable insight to inform decision-making.

Full-stack Developer

We are looking for two enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the development/digital marketing team for a twelve month fixed term contract.

Position: CE369 Full-stack Developer (two posts)

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Digital Developer, the Full-stack Developer will help to make a mark on the transformation and future proofing of all Association websites and microsites whilst helping the development/digital marketing team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Combining solid LAMP stack experience with strong skills in HTML, JavaScript and pre-processed CSS and a proven working knowledge of Drupal 9/10 to build accessible and high performing responsive website solutions
• Working in an agile environment, both independently and with other team members, from tickets created in the Jira project management system by a range of internal clients across the charity
• A willingness to switch between the back and front end development aspects of the role depending on the requirement of each given task
• Offering solutions to problems and improvements to the quality of the Drupal development environment
• Creating and executing accessible, responsive web solutions while adhering to existing brand design requirements
• Ensuring that best practices are followed for both back and front end performance
• Writing high standard, clean code to best current practices using version control (Git)

About You

You will have/be:

• Solid LAMP stack experience

About the role:

The Diversion programme began as a two-year pilot programme launched in July 2019 and funded by MOPAC (Mayor’s Office for Policing & Crime). The aim was to drive multi-agency working between the police, Voluntary Community Sector (VCS) service providers and other statutory partners and was part of a wider programme of work to develop a whole system approach to identifying and addressing the needs of women involved in the criminal justice system in London. The Diversion programme integrates a short-term, holistic package of support for women with an out of court disposal, to improve outcomes for the woman and offer Police officers a robust alternative pathway other than prosecution.

We have recently been awarded funding from Portsmouth City Council to deliver a 12-month pilot of the Diversion Programme in Portsmouth, to support those women of the PO1-PO6 area postcodes, who encounter the Police and as a result are then to be referred to the Diversion service rather than be prosecuted.

The successful post holder is required to pass Police Vetting
 

About You:

To be successful as Diversion Keyworker you will have an in-depth knowledge of issues facing women offenders and those at risk of offending; both in and out of the criminal justice system and the ability to see how violence against women and girls interlinks to women in the criminal justice system.

In short, you will have: -

You will bring proven practice of working with women experiencing issues related to offending (e.g. homelessness, substance misuse, domestic abuse, mental health or other relevant work area) preferably within criminal justice setting. You will be able to demonstrate your experience of conducting needs and risk assessments and of risk management crisis management skills and an ability to cope in stressful situations. You will show forth your ability to manage a caseload and a top-quality skill set with prioritising and organising your own workload.

You will be a self-serving uniquely able to undertake working independently and at times be managed remotely. That said, you will have a proven record of collaborative and working partnership with relevant statutory and voluntary groups, demonstrating the ability to develop and maintain strong constructive working relationships.

You will be the first point of contact for a wide range of enquirers and supporters, assisting with the implementation of a regular giving strategy and supporting donor communications and retention.  Day to day task will include ensuring accurate records on the Development database, supporting the work of Alumni with a range of events and promoting the work of the Development Office with the use of social media.

The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills in order to effectively nurture relationships with a range of external contacts.   

This post is a varied and busy role and will require someone who is highly organised, has proven ICT skills ideally with some knowledge of CRM systems, and is willing to deal with a variety of tasks with a ‘can do’ and flexible approach to work.  Previous experience of working in fundraising ideally within the education or charity sector would be an advantage.

Salary: Competitive salary discussed at interview.

Hours: 8.30 to 5.00 Monday to Friday on an all year contract.
