About the Role
The position is permanent and part-time. It is for 3 days per week, for the right candidate. The postholder must be available to work one Saturday a month. A normal working week is 21 hours (3 days per week) to be worked between 09:30am to 5:30pm weekdays. There may be an opportunity to work from home once a week after probationary period.
The main tasks of the role include: maintaining effective communication and correspondence with our vulnerable young clients and booking appointments; overseeing and updating our case management system; administrative financial work, costs billing and creating invoices; and general administrative duties including filing, scanning, shredding, archiving, photocopying, creating e-bundles, preparing and taking post to the post office, completing forms, and requesting subject access disclosure and other information from third parties.
The role also requires the administrator to support, where necessary, the day-to-day administrative management of the office and PRCBC operations. This includes liaising with external stakeholders across a range of areas such as IT support and building management; supporting the maintenance and updating of operational procedures and practices; and completing ad-hoc administrative tasks, such as office supply procurement, as required.
To work effectively at PRCBC, it is necessary for the administrator to closely follow instructions, retain a professional approach throughout, and be highly focused and well organised, with excellent attention to detail.
Due to the varied nature of PRCBC’s work, the administrator participates in many aspects of the management, administrative and legal process, and interacts with a wide range of individuals, from solicitors and barristers to social workers and foster parents, alongside frequently vulnerable young clients and their carers. The administrator is therefore expected to manage a varied and evolving workload. The right candidate will have an initiative-taking mindset, be highly adaptable and willing and able to take initiative in daily operations.

The Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) is an internationally renowned environmental charity, a world-leading eco centre, and one of the foremost providers of postgraduate environmental education in the UK, based near Machynlleth in Mid Wales.

Overview of Role
1. The Director of Development is responsible for developing and leading strategies to grow the organisations financial resources, supporter base and brand recognition. The Director of Development will lead and manage the fundraising team and have overall responsibility for ensuring the effective leadership and management of the Marketing and Comms and Innovation Lab teams in conjunction with the Co-Heads of Marketing and Comms and Innovation Lab Manager.
2. The Director of Development is responsible for developing and implementing a fundraising strategy, tactics and plans, to deliver the multi-million pound revenue funding needed for CAT to meet its strategic ambitions as well as to build up its reserves.
3. The Director of Development is responsible for developing and delivering the capital fundraising campaign to secure the Mid Wales Growth Deal funding and raise the private match to enable us to deliver on Cynefin.
4. The role involves developing and delivering strategies for increasing core and project-focused income from individual donors, charitable trusts, statutory sources and companies.
5. The post involves development of fundraising bids and pitches in support of the above.
6. The Director of Development will build and maintain strong and trusted senior level relationships with key stakeholders in government, funders, high net worth individuals, corporates and partner organisations
7. The post holder will lead on enhancing CAT’s approach to measurement of impact and ensuring effective systems are in place for monitoring and evaluation.
8. The post will be responsible for oversight of marketing and communications, including ensuring effective marketing and communications strategies are developed, implemented, monitored and evaluated

Main Responsibilities
FUNDRAISING AND INCOME GENERATION
· Develop and clearly articulate the case for support for CAT that positions it for fundraising success. Determine the most effective way of positioning its case as compelling and unique.
· Develop, implement and evaluate a comprehensive fundraising programme that meets the needs of the organisation. This includes setting the overall goals and objectives for fundraising, alongside the Co-CEOs and leading the delivery of strategies to achieve these goals.
·Identify, prioritise, cultivate, solicit and steward a major gifts portfolio that includes individuals and organisations, with a particular emphasis on trusts and foundations.
· Working closely with the Co-CEO, refine and lead the organisation’s strategy for securing increased support from statutory sources, including Welsh and UK Government.
· The post will be responsible for oversight of fundraising, including ensuring effective fundraising strategies are developed and implemented for increasing giving, recruitment and retention of members and supporters including legacies, as well as for trusts and corporates.
· Work closely with the Co-CEO, Head of Eco Centre and Project Director to update on progress with funding and funders requirements.
· Lead the development of funding bids and tenders, working with the Co-CEO, Head of Eco Centre, Head of School, fundraising team, trustees and other staff across the organisation.
· Build the realisation of core funds and overhead costs into all bids and tenders.
· Work with the Co-CEO and Management Accountant to ensure strong systems are in place for the financial management of projects and the realisation of projected core and overhead contributions.
·Work collaboratively with colleagues to create robust systems for prospect research, stewardship and contact management.
·Provide regular reports on progress and results with prospects in portfolio.
·In collaboration with the Co-CEO and other senior managers, establish and maintain links with the government, business and voluntary sectors with a view to attracting financial support.
· In collaboration with the Co-CEO oversee CAT’s external networking and advocacy, in collaboration with staff across the organisation.
· Lead on embedding the measurement of impact of the charity’s activities across the organisation.
COMMUNICATIONS
· Working with the CoCEO and Co-Heads of Marketing and Comms, provide leadership to the organisation’s communications and marketing work.
· Working with the Marketing and Comms team, create and oversee the delivery of a marketing and communications strategy that will enhance and build upon CAT’s excellent reputation and enable the effective marketing of CAT’s services and communication of key messages.
·Advise and support the Marketing and Comms team in relation to brand-building, campaigns, supporter mobilisation, media relations and defensive PR.
Working with the Co-Heads of Marketing and Comms and team, develop and update a record of key information and clear and consistent messages about CAT’s work, goals and achievements. Oversee the implementation of key messages in CAT’s communications.
STRATEGIC AND MOTIVATIONAL LEADERSHIP
· Provide inspirational, collaborative and effective leadership over the range of CAT's fundraising and development activities, harnessing the commitment and knowledge of the staff.

THE PERSON:
Candidates for the role must bring substantial experience and broad expertise and contacts in fundraising, including managing and supporting a fundraising team.
You will have a proven track record of generating significant funds through trust, statutory and corporate sources and from individual giving, preferably including prior success in leading a multi-million capital campaign as well as driving increased core income.
You will need strong experience and skills in networking and developing relationships with individuals and organisations. Experience of leading marketing and communications work would be an advantage.
Candidates should also have a wide range of business development and communications skills including entrepreneurial flair, excellent communication and inter-personal skills and strong organisational abilities.
Empathy and enthusiasm for the purpose, values and challenges of CAT are essential, together with a collaborative and determined leadership style and the gravitas and presence to inspire confidence at a variety of levels.

This role builds on the work of our Feminist Green New Deal project. The Feminist Green New Deal puts the needs and priorities of women, racialised and marginalised groups at the heart of all climate policy and action and advocates for a care-led green recovery from our multiple crises of climate breakdown and inequality. The role will continue to develop our Feminist Green New Deal work engaging new audiences, stakeholders and writing new policy papers.
As a Feminist Climate Justice Policy Campaigner you will make connections with policy makers, government departments, NGOs and influencers, bringing an intersectional feminist lens to these spaces. You will need to keep up to speed with UK climate policies and how these impact women.
Wen works at the grassroots and policy level ensuring that grassroots perspectives are part of and shape climate policy making so a key part of the role will be linking these two levels. You will work closely with our Climate Sisters programme and the Tower Hamlets Food Partnership which inform our Feminist Green New Deal policy asks and campaigns, advocating for inclusive climate policy rooted in the priorities of women, particularly racialised and marginalised groups. We are looking to recruit a policy campaigner with in-depth knowledge of the policy systems and strategic thinking about how to advocate for feminist climate justice at local, regional and national level in the UK working in collaboration with others.

Bring an intersectional feminist climate justice lens to policy makers and debates with a focus on climate, health, food justice and environmental policies

Richmond Carers Centre has the mission to help unpaid adult carers to live a full, active and meaningful life by providing them with advice, information, activities, breaks and emotional support either face to face, by phone or by email to enable them to live well.
As an Adult Carers Support Worker, you will be part of a small, dedicated team and take a lead on providing emotional support to adult carers and a commitment to enhancing their health and wellbeing. Much of your work will involve actively listening to carers, often via the phone support line, providing information, advice and support. As part of the Adult Carers Support Team, you will also be involved in organising breaks for carers, outreach activities and leisure events, as well as group work to help enhance carers’ health and wellbeing. Working closely with the CEO and the Executive Team, you will lead our business development efforts, build strategic partnerships, and position YMCA St Paul’s Group to grow our reach and relevance. While the initial focus will likely be in Housing and Support, we also see huge potential in Health & Wellbeing services and beyond.
We are looking for an enterprising and inclusive leader with a strong track record of business development within commissioned or regulated services. You will bring commercial acumen, a collaborative spirit, and a natural ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. While housing experience is valuable, we also welcome candidates with transferable knowledge and experience from other regulated sectors. You do not need to be of Christian faith, but you must be able to respect our ethos and uphold the values we live by.

Hybrid role (working from the office in Morden, home and in other locations)
We are looking for an outgoing and self-motivated individual to help drive and develop vision, mission and strategy to progress the youth work of both the Schools and College Pastors initiatives under the Ascension Trust umbrella and as lead for the Synergy Network.
The focus in this role:
- Coordinating and supporting the Schools and College Pastor initiatives and developing strategies to grow and strengthen the work of our teams and also to promote the network and collaborations with other organisations.
- Enthuse and engage with stakeholders who want to work to combat serious youth violence, including faith groups, police and public sector.
- Develop and implement a future strategy for School and College Pastors and the Synergy Network.
- Develop funding bids for future initiatives such as the prevention of serious youth violence, working with the Youth Endowment Fund, Violence Reduction Units, and developing funding streams for the School and College Pastor initiatives with appropriate funding bodies.
- Develop vision, strategy and training for growth in new and existing initiatives.
- Develop and maintain a communications strategy for the Synergy Network, including events organisation, website and social media maintenance.
- Support the Synergy Network board by organising events, maintaining the website and social media platforms.
- This is a role that allows for flexibility and creativity in approach with training and support available to grow the individual in post.

New Citizens’ Gateway (NCG) is an independent, registered charity working in partnership with individuals and agencies to improve the quality of life for refugees and asylum seekers. Our aim is to reduce health inequalities, combat social exclusion and poverty, and support integration and independence.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Outreach Support Officer to join our small, friendly, and dedicated team. This role will focus on delivering high-quality, person-centred support to asylum seekers, particularly those currently accommodated in hotels across London.
This is a key position within NCG and will play a vital role in supporting our advice team to deliver an efficient, effective, and holistic support service tailored to the complex needs of asylum seekers and refugees.
The ideal candidate will have:

Direct experience of supporting asylum seekers and refugees

Strong knowledge of the asylum support system and the challenges faced by individuals in the asylum process

An understanding of available resources and services that support asylum seekers and how to access them

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

The ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

A flexible and proactive approach with the capacity to manage a varied workload

Fluency in a community language is an advantage
