NICE is a charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with movement disorders. We work with children and adults affected by neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s, Stroke and MS. Donor Experience Officer - Fundraising

We're looking for a Donor Experience Officer to play a vital role within Acorns Children's Hospice's Fundraising team. As one of the first points of contact for our supporters, you'll help ensure every donation, enquiry and interaction receives a professional, personal and timely response.

This is a varied role that combines supporter care, relationship building, administration and communications. You'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end journey of donations, from processing gifts and maintaining accurate supporter records through to creating meaningful communications that show donors the impact of their support.

Working with colleagues across fundraising, marketing and care, you'll help deliver supporter journeys and stewardship communications that make supporters feel recognised, valued and connected to the difference they are making for local children and families. • Acting as a first point of contact for supporter enquiries across email, telephone, social media and written communications.

You will be part of a newly formed Technology team of developers, testers, and product specialists, working closely with brilliant colleagues to improve processes, manage donor data, and deliver innovative solutions.

This role suits someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who can support end users with technical issues and requests while managing multiple initiatives with ease.

Role Purpose

The Relationship Fundraiser will support the Philanthropy Manager to secure and increase income through the charity’s Philanthropy strategy.

The post holder will support with developing a robust pipeline of prospects and will be responsible for managing a portfolio of new and existing major donor relationships. You will be creative and analytical and provide first class research, administration, relationship management and database skills and provide excellent donor stewardship.

Main Responsibilities

· Work with the Philanthropy Manager to prepare and implement creative donor cultivation and stewardship plans to secure new donors and develop current relationships, including:

- Creative cases for support with associated budgets.

- Adapting information for specific donors using different approaches for different audiences.

- Developing engaging thank you letters and reports. 

· Manage an agreed portfolio of mid-value major donor relationships and prospects, with the support of the Philanthropy Manager and deliver excellent stewardship and tailored fundraising proposals.

· Provide timely and high-quality updates to donors on the charity’s activities and impact and value of gifts. Work with the Communications team to ensure that major donor supporters receive engaging and relevant marketing materials.

· Research and identify potential donors to build a strong list of prospects, matching against key fundraising priorities, to maximise opportunities and build a healthy prospect pipeline.

· Develop processes and systems to ensure the effective management of all relevant information, including keeping all records up to date on the CRM database (Sales Force) including all actions, communications and proposals in-line with the monthly KPIs and analyse to identify further opportunities.

· Support your line manager with income tracking and processing, contributing to financial targets, re-forecasts, budgeting and reporting.

· Be an active and supportive member of the Fundraising team and wider CBUK team, contributing to the Fundraising team’s development and targets as well as working collaboratively with colleagues.

The Role

The Trusts & Grants Officer is responsible for delivering income from trusts, foundations and statutory funders through proactive prospect research, high quality applications, relationship management and timely reporting, contributing directly to FareShare Midlands’ income targets and growth plans.

Trusts & Grants Delivery

• Manage a portfolio of trust, foundation and grant funders
• Writing applications and reports

Role Description

The Operations and Finance Manager will play a central role in ensuring the effective day-to-day running of the Foundation. The postholder will lead on governance, administration, finance, compliance and organisational systems, ensuring the charity operates efficiently, meets its regulatory obligations and has the infrastructure required to deliver its strategic objectives.

Research shows that group-based early intervention parenting groups are the most effective way to support children in need. We train peer facilitators in local churches - the largest voluntary body in the country - to run our affordable, accessible and highly effective parenting programmes, written by Clinical Psychologists. They come alongside parents and carers, building long-lasting community in addition to encouraging confidence and learning positive parenting skills.

About the role

The Executive Assistant to the CEO role involves:

• Coordinating and maintaining the CEO's diary including organising all appointments, meetings and travel arrangements.
• Identifying, anticipating and preparing CEO information requirements for meetings, appointments and presentations, following up on internal and external requests for information.
• Managing all administration processes relating to the SLT.
• Supporting the CEO and the Fundraising Team with major donor management, including keeping contacts and actions updated, researching prospective donors, communicating with existing donors, coordinating thank you cards and gifts, and tracking secured donations.

About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Finance and Income Operations to lead NFFN’s finance function and help strengthen the systems, controls and reporting that will support the organisation’s next stage of growth.

This is a senior leadership role at the heart of a small, ambitious and mission-led organisation. You will oversee day-to-day financial management, budgeting, management accounts, restricted funds, funder reporting and income operations. You will also help improve how finance works across NFFN, giving budget holders clearer information and helping the organisation make confident, well-informed decisions.

The role is about more than keeping the numbers moving. We are looking for someone who can help build a stronger finance function, improve internal systems, support funder confidence, and help NFFN manage a more complex mix of grants, donations, restricted funding and revenue-based delivery work.

Depending on your background, this may suit someone with strong charity finance experience, or someone from a finance, grants, funding operations or mission-led commercial background who wants to use their skills in a values-led organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

• leading day-to-day financial management, controls and reporting

• preparing budgets, forecasts, management accounts and financial updates

• supporting budget holders with clear, practical financial information

• improving finance systems, processes, approvals and reporting tools

• overseeing restricted funds, grant conditions, funder reporting and income tracking

• supporting funding applications with budgets, financial information and reporting structures

• helping NFFN manage VAT, full cost recovery and different types of income as the organisation grows

• working with the CEO, CSO, Head of Fundraising, SLT, Board and external advisers

• providing line management to the Head of Fundraising and potential future roles within the finance and income operations function 

This role will suit someone who combines financial rigour with practical judgement. You will need to be comfortable working independently in a remote organisation, explaining finance clearly to non-finance colleagues, and improving systems in a way that is proportionate and realistic for a small non profit organisation.

We know this is a broad role, and we are not expecting one person to have done everything before. We are looking for someone with strong financial experience, good judgement, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in helping NFFN build the financial infrastructure it needs for the future.

This is a fully home-based role, with flexibility in how work is managed and occasional travel for team meetings and events. You will be joining a collaborative, values-led team working to support farmers, nature and a more resilient food system.

Individual Giving Officer

We are looking for an Individual Giving Officer to join an ambitious and highly motivated team responsible for delivering an ambitious and growing Individual Fundraising programme.

Position: 000022 Individual Giving Officer

Location: Home-based, UK, Nationwide. However, occasional travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings) 

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Salary: Circa £35,600 per annum (inner London weighting £3,950 per annum or outer London weighting £2,457 per annum may be applied in accordance with where you live)

The Role

Working alongside other officers, you will report to either the Individual Giving Lead responsible for our cause-related products or the Individual Giving Lead responsible for our gaming products. Due to the demands of the role we are looking for someone with a willingness to work flexibly with regard to working patterns when required, to support the needs of the team and the ongoing success of the programme.

You’ll be:

• Using your fundraising and marketing experience and skills to create successful campaigns and complex supporter journeys to help us grow our income and supporter engagement. (Working collaboratively with our Digital and Social Teams, as well as external media agencies).
• Helping deliver on our multi million annual plans to retain and recruit new supporters using the most effective techniques and channels, including Face to Face.
• Enthusiastically managing and delivering a range of fundraising and engagement campaigns and communications to develop and maximise support from our loyal supporters via multiple channels, including telephone, mail, digital, and SMS.
• Comfortable with figures and spreadsheets, as you’ll be diving into the data and managing campaign costs.
• Responsible for maintaining and reporting accurate campaign results and  reviews.
• Always looking out for new opportunities, using our sprint pipeline methodology (testing, solving, learning from experiments) before scaling.
• Ensuring our campaigns are fully compliant at all times.

About You

We’re looking for an individual who:

• Has great experience and knowledge of fundraising, direct marketing and project management, and can bring a real enthusiasm to the team. This role has a specific focus around supporter acquisition which includes face to face, paid digital, direct mail, telemarketing and eMarketing.
• Is fantastic at organising and prioritising a busy workload and knowledgeable of project management. Loves attention to detail and can work on several projects at once whilst thinking outside the box, as things can change quickly!
• Loves data and insight and enjoys applying that insight to campaign testing.
• Is a great all-round communicator, with both internal and external audiences.

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to join us as HR & Operations Officer. This role champions Capitals Coalition’s people-focused approach to operations as it plays a key role in supporting core organizational processes across HR, IT, travel, and events.

Responsibilities include support for a range of HR activities – such as administration, staff wellbeing, training and development, and recruitment – alongside coordinating team meetings, IT support, travel arrangements, and events coordination, and occasional fundraising support.

This role suits someone process-driven, independent, and motivated to improve operations for a purpose-driven team of around 30 people. The successful candidate will be comfortable working remotely, confident with IT and problem-solving, and able to work with a high degree of autonomy while strengthening the Coalition’s internal infrastructure. You will join the Operations team, alongside dedicated finance and HR roles, helping the organization run efficiently while supporting our team.

• Option B — Full-time Executive Director.
