The Donor Relations Officer will work closely with the Development Manager and Development Director to devise and implement a comprehensive stewardship strategy for Pembroke’s major donors. The role involves producing bespoke donor reports, drafting proposals and gift agreements, coordinating stewardship events, and ensuring that donors receive appropriate recognition and communications. The post-holder will liaise closely with the Finance, Academic, and Communications teams, as well as Fellows, staff, and students, to ensure accurate and impactful donor reporting.

Role Overview
The Donor Relations Officer role focuses on stewardship and proposal writing. This involves devising a stewardship strategy for major donors, producing reports for donors, and drafting proposals and gift agreements for prospective donors. The post-holder reports to the Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
The main duties to be carried out by the post-holder include:
Stewardship
- Working with the Development Director and Development Manager, create a stewardship strategy for all major donors, ensuring that everyone receives annual reports on their giving and the appropriate level of recognition.
- Work with the College’s Finance team to obtain annual reports on the status of restricted and endowed funds for inclusion in stewardship reporting.
- Take ownership of the College’s stewardship groups for major donors, namely the Foundation Fellows, Sheppard Circle, and Master’s Circle. Liaise with the Senior Alumni Relations Officer to create and deliver events for members of these groups and devise ways to further our relationship with them individually and collectively.
- Work with the Accounts Office and Academic Office to ensure that restricted funds are used in accordance with their purpose and to track and report on progress to donors in line with relevant gift agreements and pledges.
- Ensure donors receive appropriate recognition in all relevant College publications and other media and work in close collaboration with the Communications team to ensure donors receive relevant College and Campaign communications.
- Work with the Development team, Communications team, and others in College to create an annual report demonstrating the impact of philanthropy at Pembroke for distribution to donors to the College.
- Identify opportunities to publicise the impact of philanthropy at Pembroke through multimedia communications and digital platforms (e.g., videos, newsletters, digital campaigns).
- Once the programme is established there may be opportunities to undertake face-to-face stewardship meetings with donors.
Proposal writing
- Support the Development Director and Development Manager in drafting bespoke proposals for major donor prospects.
- Assist in the production of fundraising documentation to appeal to potential major donors.
- Make effective use of donor records to ensure proposals and reports are data driven.
- Draft gift agreements for major donors.
Internal collaboration
- Work collaboratively with the wider team and colleagues across Pembroke, supporting work outside your functional area where necessary.
- Build strong internal relationships with relevant stakeholders to ensure the stewardship programme is supported at the highest level.
- Work with Fellows, staff, and students to obtain reports and other stories relating to the impact of donor funding.
- To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required by the Development Director, which may include travel and event attendance outside standard working hours.

Purpose of role:
Increasing and diversifying the sources of funding for A Rocha UK’s work is key to our fundraising strategy. The Grants and Legacies Manager will play a key role identifying potential granting bodies, writing and submitting bids, and managing reporting on grants from a range of sources, including large foundations, and Church denominations. In doing so, they will work closely with other staff, especially the CEO, programme staff, and other members of the fundraising team. They will also manage occasional legacies and, as capacity allows, develop a proactive legacy promotion programme. La Nuova Musica’s strategic goals
We are bursting with ideas and feel we have so much more that we want to achieve. We perform regularly at the Wigmore Hall in London and are in the process of establishing a presence in Salisbury (David Bates’ hometown) and in Oxford, where we are working with an excellent chamber choir of young amateur singers, Schola Cantorum. By giving the same concert in all these cities, we make best use of our artistic and financial resources at the same time as broadening our reach.
We also aim to deliver new strands of activity. One is relaxed concerts for anyone who needs an informal setting to enjoy our performances. The other offers high quality professional experience to singers and players from the modern instrument world in understanding baroque and early classical music. This is important for several reasons, not least to build and strengthen the UK pool of musicians for the future to preserve this repertoire.
We receive no public funding and are only able to continue thanks to the support of generous individuals who love what we do and want us to do more. As is the case in our sector, ticket sales do not cover the cost of performances. We also need to pay our administrative team for any activity to take place at all. We currently operate thanks to a small but highly experienced and committed team who work remotely, at significantly reduced rates, because of their belief in David Bates and La Nuova Musica. To achieve our vision, we need to secure ongoing funding for core running costs (approximately £120k per year) as well as additional funding for specific artistic projects and other activity (approximately £120k per year, though this will vary from year to year).
Thanks to the fantastic support of generous individuals, LNM can engage with some ambitious projects such as Handel’s Giustino, our first co-production with the Royal Ballet and Opera which takes place in October 2025. We have successfully raised the money required for this and can now put in place some important and ambitious projects for the next three years.
These include:
·Promoting two concerts each year in St Martin in the Fields, which entails risk on a larger scale than the Wigmore Hall where we are engaged (paid) to perform. (£15k p.a.)
·Developing further our work in Salisbury with two annual concerts which feed off our regular series in the Wigmore Hall and St Martin in the Fields. (£12k p.a.)
·Developing our relationships in Oxford along the lines of Salisbury (see above) (12k p.a.)
·Developing a relaxed concert strand where performances are specially prepared and delivered to suit anyone who needs an informal setting to enjoy our performances. (10k per run of events)
·Grow existing strands of work which provide experience for amateur singers, young professional singers and players in informed baroque and early classical performances. (15k per run of events)
·Recording some of our best work to act as a calling card with promoters and the public. (£40- 50k per recording)
·Build on our existing work to make and keep early music relevant, thus protecting its cultural heritage, by commissioning new work for the ensemble which combines the sounds and techniques of early music with that of living composers. (£15-20k per commission)

About the Legacy Manager role:

ROLE SUMMARY
This vital role within the Landmark Trust’s fundraising team focuses on providing excellent supporter care to our donors and ensuring supporter data is well managed. As the first point of contact for fundraising-related enquiries, and the lead user of our database, you will play a key role in delivering a first-class supporter experience while ensuring the efficient operation of our fundraising systems.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in high-quality customer service, with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and confidence in working with data and IT systems. You will be comfortable speaking with supporters on the phone, drafting personalised letters and emails, and managing a variety of administrative tasks. While fundraising experience isn’t essential, you should have experience in customer-facing roles and working with databases. An interest in heritage or the charity sector would be an advantage.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that donations are accurately processed, donors are promptly and warmly thanked, and Gift Aid is maximised. Day-to-day, you’ll be recording donations, updating supporter records, and producing reports and data downloads from our Salesforce CRM. Full training in our systems will be provided.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporter Care
To respond to general fundraising enquiries by telephone, email and in writing, in a professional manner, seeking the guidance of colleagues as to the most appropriate response.
Ensure all donations are thanked and acknowledged quickly and appropriately, by yourself or the relevant contact manager.
Support other aspects of fundraising income administration, such the Patrons, Friends and regular giving schemes, and as required.
Record complaints, escalating as appropriate, and in line with complaints handling policy.
Support the administration of print and digital communications.
Occasionally attend and support the running of fundraising evening receptions, site visits, or new building openings– sometimes held over a weekend (time off in lieu will be given).
Supporter data, analysis and reporting
Record all donations and fundraising transactions on the Salesforce database, liaising with the finance team to provide relevant reports and daybooks for bank reconciliations.
Ensure that supporter contacts and database records are kept up to date and comply with data protection legislation and internal requirements.
Support the Finance team with Gift Aid best practice, including managing the integrity of current Gift Aid records and auditing past records.
Produce Salesforce reports to track donations, appeals, regular gifts, and memberships.
Extract contact data from Salesforce for segmentation, analysis and marketing, including appeals, raffle, event invitations and others, working to a brief from the relevant team member.
Ensure that Salesforce use by the team is continually developed and improved. Work with IT to select, onboard new database products, and hold workshops for team members around developments to maximise use of the supporter database.
Financial management
Administer the collection of all Direct Debit donations including membership payments (Friends & Patrons), regular givers, and Standing Orders.
Maintain the team’s annual income and expenditure monitoring spreadsheets, and project/restricted income monitoring, ensuring accuracy at all times and reconciliation with finance systems.
To be the main point of contact with the Finance team on day-to-day donation queries, including Gift Aid administration, chasing payments, and general donations questions.
Keep physical and electronic supporter filing up to date as required for audit purposes.
Manage the safe and proper handling of, and accounting for, income, to agreed deadlines.
Continually strive to improve margins and reduce costs as well as suggesting improvements in operating processes at a specific and general level.

We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our small, friendly team, and help to streamline and manage a range of processes, key to the efficient running of the charity and our activities.
Due to the nature of our work all roles are based on-site in our beautiful location in Richmond Park. The part time role can be spread across 4 days with optimal hours being 9:30am-2:30pm.
Key responsibilities include:
- Being one of the first points of contact for communication to the charity and supporting the management of school/group bookings
- Creating quotes, invoices and supporting financial administration processes
- Managing administration around individual donations
- Co-ordinating and stocktaking centre supplies
- Deputising for Centre Managers at meetings
- Supporting Volunteer recruitment, administration, training and events
- Supporting marketing and communications
- Supporting fundraising events

We are looking for a Community Support Administrator to enhance our offer to people diagnosed with aplastic anaemia, and their friends and families . You’ll help our successful fundraising and support teams to do more.
Reporting to our Community Fundraising and Events Manager
We are passionate about creating opportunities for our community to support us in ways that create joy in their own lives and help them feel empowered in the face of serious illness. Our fundraising activities are designed to help tackle the isolation and other difficulties that are faced by those living with a rare and serious condition. You’ll help us make sure that fundraising for The AAT is a life-affirming and joyful experience.
Our small team are fully remote across the country. You’ll be based on your own in our small office/post room in Birmingham with regular face-to-face meetings with your manager (who lives locally). You’ll keep in touch with the rest of the team via Microsoft Teams.
The first line of support
As a small charity representing an ultra rare condition, the people we support and the people who support us through fundraising are often one and the same.
You’ll sit within the fundraising team, but your role spans the organisation, and you’ll also deliver essential administration support for our Support Team.
The Aplastic Anaemia Trust is the only charity who publish information about aplastic anaemia for patients and families. You will post booklets to patients and to hospitals, heading to the post office twice a week to fulfil orders. You’ll also support our volunteer moderators to administer the Patient Support Facebook Group.
This is a varied and interesting role which gives you the opportunity to see your impact first-hand as you’ll be interacting directly with people whose lives are affected by aplastic anaemia. You will support our community with understanding and empathy.

Manage our online shop, fulfilling orders promptly. Track inventory and re-order items that are running low

Send thank you messages and cards to supporters

Update our CRM and keep up to date and accurate data on our community

Create and schedule social media posts and event listings on our website.

Answer general emails, social media messages, and other communications and/or ensure they are answered by the right person from our team

Provide support and guidance to our volunteers including onboarding and supervision

Pitch in with occasional event admin and organising

Twice a year attend our Staff Conference for (2-3 weekdays with overnight stay) to work directly with the full team

Sending out patient information booklets to hospitals who order it via our website

Finding out the t-shirt sizes of everyone on our Great North Run team and posting t-shirts out to them

Producing a report from our CRM system, and sending an email to everyone on it to invite them to an event

Counting up all our Christmas cards and ordering more from a printers website

Creating a thoughtful, personal package for a child who is in hospital, and taking it to the post office.

In people with aplastic anaemia, the bone marrow fails to produce enough of all three types of blood cells – red, white and platelets.
Aplastic anaemia treatment is very similar to the treatment someone might have for leukaemia - but because it's so rare, families often don't have access to the same information and support.
The Aplastic Anaemia Trust is the only charity in the UK dedicated to supporting people affected by aplastic anaemia and funding research into this rare form of bone marrow failure.
We fund research to improve treatment, provide expert information, and work tirelessly, at grassroots level, to support every aplastic anaemia patient and their loved ones.
