Corporate Partnerships Executive

We are looking for a Corporate Partnerships Executive, to play an important enabling role, supporting the wider Partnerships team in the pursuit of new business, account retention/growth and fundraising/donor management.

Position: Corporate Partnerships Executive

Location: Central London/hybrid (up to 3 days/week can be home-based)

Hours: Full-time (with a 32-hour/4 day work week trial starting 1 July)

Salary: £27,000 pa plus excellent benefits

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will also have a dotted line to the Senior Business Development Manager. Together, you will be responsible for directing your day-to-day work to ensure the organisation is delivering for clients.

From researching prospects, project managing events, onboarding programme participants to following up with prospects and compiling impact reports, no two days will be the same in this highly varied and dynamic role. 

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Proactively managing new business leads and enquiries
• Supporting account management, growth and retention activities
• Undertaking research on prospects and leads for meetings and events
• Joining new business and account management calls and meetings
• Participating in programme recruitment and onboarding sessions
• Compiling data for and supporting in the production of proposals, terms of business, client reports and other documentation
• Assisting in the management and delivery of external events
• Maintaining accurate data and compliance within Salesforce

The role

They have experience dealing with administrative processes and office administration, especially in a non-profit, remote organisation. They will have skills to give, receive and work with feedback constructively. They must be meticulous with exceptionally strong follow-up and follow-through skills and have the ability to work under high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines. They should have excellent interpersonal understanding, relationship building, and interpersonal skills to build strong alliances with diverse constituencies with experience working with diverse communities from multiple identities across the globe, in a virtual environment.

Functions and responsibilities

Organisation level

· Prepare annual, quarterly and monthly budgets and projections at the organisational and programme level along with management accounts and cash flow reports.

· Analyse forward cash and fundraising projections and needs.

· Brief and work with Executive Director on financial, HR and administrative matters including financial needs, staffing, projections, scenarios and planning, and risk monitoring.

The Helen Bamber Foundation (HBF) is a pioneering Human Rights charity supporting refugees and asylum seekers who are the survivors of trafficking and torture, including gender-based and ‘honour-based’ violence. Recognising the complexity of each client’s suffering and needs, the Foundation provides specialist medical consultation, therapeutic care, legal protection and practical support to survivors of human rights violations by helping men, women and children heal the emotional and physical damage they have suffered through torture, trafficking or other forms of cruelty.  We take the learning from our work to develop partnerships to increase survivors’ access to services, and use the learning generated by our clients and partners to drive system change.

Since August 2020, Asylum Aid has been part of the Helen Bamber Foundation Group. If appointed, you will be required to give your consent to HBF to receive regular updates on your criminal records status throughout your employment.  

Please submit an up to date CV and a covering letter, no longer than 2 pages, by 9am on 1st July 2024 by outlining your relevant skills and experience, as well as how your previous experience that matches the listed responsibilities and person specification. Please state in your covering letter when you would be available to start the role. Longlisted candidates are scheduled to be invited to a short introductory interview of 15 minutes on the 9th or 10th July.  Shortlisted candidates are scheduled to be invited to interview in the week commencing 15th July and will be conducted either in person or where needed via Zoom.
