Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Community Fundraising Lead to join our team. This role sits at the intersection of

fundraising and communications, working across both teams to leverage our community to generate

income and lead community fundraising campaigns and initiatives. We're looking for someone with a

proven track record in generating community income, who is passionate about the value of creative

and alternative revenue streams, and who will play a vital part in helping us raise the funds needed to

deliver our mission of eradicating rape culture.

Key Responsibilities

Head of Fundraising – Oasis Hub Waterloo

Salary: £46,403–£52,420 per annum

Oasis Hub Waterloo is looking for an experienced and ambitious fundraiser to lead the next chapter of our fundraising journey.

For over 20 years we’ve been serving our local community through an integrated model that brings together education, community services and church. Every week we support children, young people and families through our schools, Foodbank, debt, welfare, housing and immigration advice, youth work, mentoring, community spaces and much more. As our new Head of Fundraising, you’ll play a key role in making that vision possible.

You’ll develop and deliver a sustainable fundraising strategy, building income across trusts and foundations, major donors, corporate partnerships, statutory funding, community fundraising and individual giving. Development Manager (Fundraising & Partnerships)

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer, working closely with the Programmes Lead and Finance & Governance Lead.

Hours: We anticipate appointing this role as a 2 days per week (0.4 FTE) employee.

However, we are also open to hearing from experienced freelance fundraising professionals who are interested in delivering an agreed programme of work on a consultancy basis, equivalent to approximately one day per week.

Salary: Employee: £27,000–£31,000 FTE (£10,800–£12,400 pro rata for 2 days/16 hours per week), depending on experience.

Consultancy: Day rate to be agreed, depending on experience and scope of work.

Location: Remote, with approximately two consecutive days per month at our office in Liverpool and occasional travel for meetings or events.

Contract: 24 month fixed term (with the intention to extend, subject to funding).

About Worldwide Radiology

Worldwide Radiology is a UK registered charity working to improve access to high-quality diagnostic imaging in low- and middle-income countries.

Working alongside hospitals, universities and health partners around the world, we develop practical, sustainable solutions that strengthen radiology services and improve patient care. Much of our work is delivered through a global network of volunteers and long-term partnerships.

We're at an exciting stage in our development. Over recent years our fundraising income has grown significantly, but we're now looking to broaden and strengthen our funding base so we can increase our impact.

This new role offers the opportunity to become Worldwide Radiology's dedicated fundraising lead, helping shape the next stage of the organisation's growth.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious fundraiser ready to take the next step in their career and take ownership of fundraising within a growing charity.

As Worldwide Radiology's dedicated fundraising professional, you will lead our day-to-day fundraising activity across community fundraising, individual giving and trusts and foundations. You'll be responsible for planning and delivering fundraising campaigns, stewarding donors and writing funding applications that help sustain and grow our work.

You'll also support the CEO and Programmes Lead in developing larger strategic partnerships with major funders and corporate partners through research, proposal coordination and pipeline management.

Unlike many early-career fundraising roles, this position offers genuine ownership from early on. You'll lead fundraising across your portfolio while working closely with colleagues who have experience securing grants and developing partnerships, giving you the support and mentoring to develop your skills and confidence.

While we expect to appoint a Development Manager on a part-time basis, we also recognise that an experienced fundraising consultant may bring a different but equally valuable skillset. We're therefore open to considering either model, provided the successful candidate can take ownership of our fundraising programme and help build the systems, relationships and pipeline needed to support Worldwide Radiology's long-term growth.

What Success Looks Like

During your first 12–18 months you will:

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising (Lead)

You will take ownership of WWR's fundraising activity across your portfolio, working closely with the CEO while leading delivery day-to-day.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading delivery of fundraising across community fundraising, individual giving and smaller trusts and foundations.

• Researching, writing and submitting grant applications to trusts and foundations.

• Managing relationships with existing trust funders and individual donors, including stewardship and reporting.

• Planning and delivering community fundraising campaigns, supporter events and online fundraising activities, including the Big Give Christmas Challenge and JustGiving campaigns.

• Developing opportunities to grow our supporter base and increase donor retention.

• Maintaining accurate fundraising records, donor data and reporting.

• Monitoring fundraising activity and providing regular updates to the CEO.

• Supporting the development of fundraising plans and identifying new income opportunities.

Partnerships (Support)

Working alongside the CEO and Programmes Lead, you will:

• Research prospective major trusts, foundations and corporate partners.

• Prepare briefing papers and background research ahead of meetings.

• Coordinate development of larger funding proposals by gathering information, managing timelines and tracking actions.

• Maintain the strategic funding pipeline and prospect tracker.

• Support follow-up from meetings, conferences and partnership discussions.

Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse (AAFDA) is a well-established and respected national charity offering specialist and expert advocacy and peer support to families bereaved by fatal domestic abuse. We have an exciting opportunity to build upon and grow our fundraising success to date, in the role ofFundraising and Grants Manager. We are seeking an experienced fundraising professional, with the drive and determination to manage all aspects of our fundraising function.

AAFDA is currently funded by statutory bodies, trusts and foundations, corporates, events and individuals. Under your management, you will identify, cultivate and grow these existing and new fundraising streams.As AAFDA’s Fundraising and Grants Manager, you will be responsible for oversight and growth of voluntary and statutory funding income, including from individuals (regular and one-off gifts, major donors and legacy giving), community groups, trusts and foundations, corporates, the statutory sector (including Police and Crime Commissioners) and other benefactors. Starting from a strong foundation with multiple opportunities for growth, you will lead on the delivery of our ambitious, multi-year, multi-disciplinary fundraising strategy with an annual fundraising plan agreed with senior management.  With keen funder and customer awareness, you will regularly monitor and review both the plan and the strategy, in addition to working closely with our Finance Manager to manage diverse income streams and achieve income targets to fund AAFDA’s unique support and advocacy work with families bereaved by fatal domestic abuse.  Holding responsibility for maintaining and developing the website and building social media programmes, you will undertake an ambassadorial approach in all activity to assist our CEO and Director of Services to lead and manage the AAFDA brand and corporate identity, with a focus on generating earned income, by extending awareness of what AAFDA does and how successful we are.

As our Grants, Contracts and Commissioning Lead, you'll grow our income from two connected routes: grants from charitable trusts and foundations, and statutory and commissioned income secured through contracts, tenders and procurement. This newly created role owns the full grants and contracts cycle — identifying opportunities, managing the pipeline, project-managing complex bids and writing tailored, persuasive applications. You'll be well supported: subject matter experts across the organisation will provide technical content for bids, budgets are prepared alongside finance, and our CEO and directors front the most senior funder relationships.

• Experience project-managing complex bids, coordinating stakeholders and gathering technical content through multi-stage application processes

Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW) is Wales’ leading charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers. Founded in 1993, we have spent more than three decades championing the welfare of sighthounds and working towards our vision: a Wales without greyhound racing, where every greyhound and lurcher has a home and receives the best possible care.

In April 2026, after 25 years of determined campaigning to improve welfare and regulation within the racing industry, legislation to ban greyhound racing in Wales was finally passed. This landmark achievement marks the beginning of a new chapter for GRW as we expand our reach and capacity across the UK to ensure every greyhound leaving the racing industry has a rescue space, medical support and rehabilitation on the journey towards their forever home.

Boaz Trust relies on the generosity of trusts and foundations to provide accommodation and support for people seeking sanctuary, and to challenge and change the unjust systems that cause destitution, both locally and nationally. We are looking for a Fundraising Officer (Trusts) who can help us sustain and grow this vital income by building positive, long-term relationships with funders, delivering high quality applications and reports as needed. 

The money raised through this role will support Boaz’s work with people who are facing or experiencing homelessness because of their insecure, changing or uncertain immigration status. Our work includes providing safe accommodation and person-centred support, while working towards our mission of ending destitution among people seeking sanctuary.

Day to day, you will research prospective funders, prepare persuasive applications and cases for support, and produce accurate, engaging reports showing what funders’ support has achieved. You will manage a pipeline of applications and reporting deadlines, keep our fundraising database up to date, and work closely with colleagues across Boaz to best communicate the stories, outcomes, and impact from our work. You will communicate directly with existing and potential funders by email, telephone and, where appropriate, in meetings.

We are looking for someone who enjoys building interpersonal relationships with both funders and supporters and team-mates, is skilled at communicating through writing, can turn detailed information into a clear and compelling case for support, and is organised enough to manage several deadlines at once. You will already have experience of trusts fundraising or bid writing. We’re looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused Public Fundraising Executive (Community & Challenge Events) to join our ambitious Fundraising team and help support, develop and grow our Challenge Events programme, alongside delivering Community Fundraising activity.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who loves working with people, enjoys making things happen and wants to see the direct impact of their work.

With an initial focus on our expanded London Marathon programme, you’ll help recruit, onboard and support runners and challenge event participants, ensuring they feel motivated, informed and part of Team Sunshine throughout their fundraising journey.

The Worker Support Centre (WSC) is a Scottish charity working in partnership with migrant workers at risk of exploitation across Scotland to secure their rights, challenge labour exploitation, build collective power, and drive lasting law and policy change. We are an evidence-led, worker-driven organisation with strong governance and a growing track record of policy impact. We're building a movement of people who welcome all workers, working towards a world where we are all safe, valued and respected at work — no matter our job or nationality.

WSC operates a worker-driven structure that places migrant workers at the centre of our governance and decision-making. We deliver casework alongside worker-led organising and policy advocacy, supporting migrant workers in seasonal agriculture and social care to meet basic needs and to understand and exercise their rights, including through our Worker Power programme, which builds solidarity between workers and within communities.

This is a new, senior role bringing together fundraising and communications leadership at WSC. The Fundraising and Communications Manager will lead the strategic direction for both functions, with a particular emphasis on hands-on delivery of fundraising activity — building relationships with trusts, corporate partners and individual donors, and securing the income that underpins WSC's growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

● Lead the development and delivery of an integrated Fundraising and Communications strategy that grows WSC's income and public profile in support of organisational goals.

● Advise the Executive Director and Board of Trustees on income generation, funding risk, and public positioning.

● Own annual fundraising and communications targets, budgets and KPIs, reporting regularly on progress.

● Set the strategic direction for WSC's communications, ensuring it amplifies the voices of migrant workers and supports movement-building, policy influence and fundraising goals.

● Develop streams of work specifically targeting Scottish Government pledges on areas including fair work, human trafficking, migrant integration, housing and poverty, working with policy colleagues to shape public messaging.

● Provide direction, editorial oversight and quality assurance for content produced by the Senior Communications and Movement Building Officer, including the website, social media, press, newsletters and campaign materials.

● Act as WSC's senior media contact, and through the Senior Communications and Movement Building Officer ensure appropriate relationships are built with journalists to secure profile-raising opportunities on migrant worker rights, fair work and labour exploitation.

● Ensure consistent brand, tone of voice and values-led, worker-centred storytelling across all communications channels.

● Oversee communications that support fundraising campaigns, donor communications and public engagement.

Line Management

● Line manage the Senior Communications and Movement Building Officer, including regular supervision, goal-setting and professional development.

● Support the Senior Communications and Movement Building Officer to deliver day-to-day content, campaigns and movement-building communications activity in line with agreed strategy.

● Manage freelancers, agencies or consultants (for example design, digital or PR support) as required.

Governance & Reporting

● Ensure compliance with fundraising, charity, data protection (GDPR) and safeguarding legislation across fundraising and communications activity.

● Maintain accurate fundraising and communications databases (CRM, Mailchimp and similar), and provide regular reporting and analysis to the Executive Director and Board.

● Support the Executive Director and Board in reporting income and impact to funders, trustees and other stakeholders.

Tasks and Responsibilities

· Maintain and update the fundraising database, ensuring supporter records are accurate, complete and up to date.
