About the role
Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. Duties and key responsibilities
Community fundraising
- Manage and develop regional fundraising by devising a regional community fundraising strategy for income generation.
- Design and develop Sarcoma UK's calendar of annual community fundraising campaigns and events communication, including Cuppa and Cake.
- Introduce fundraising opportunities to our existing and potential supporters through a multi-channelled marketing strategy to grow levels of engagement and participation.

Community Fundraising Officer – Temporary Position from May 24 for 6 months (£24-25k)

We’re building our new fundraising team and this temporary role will play an important part in accelerating our ambitious plans to increase annual income during 2024/25.

Spectra are looking for a fundraiser, focussing on smaller trusts and individual giving, to join a growing fundraising team with exciting plans. You will contribute to raising the income required to continue delivering counselling, advocacy, mentoring, outreach, groups and other support services at Spectra. You will report the Fundraising Manager.
You will be confident working with diverse and intersectional groups who face social exclusion and inequalities around access to appropriate health care, wellbeing and holistic support. You will be able unequivocally to respect, support, promote and work within LGBTQ+ and other diverse communities.

IHC is a dedicated charity for Imperial Health College Healthcare NHS Trust and their mission is to work in partnership with the Trust and other organisations to enhance the experience of care throughout the patient journey.
As Fundraising Officer, you will be supporting the delivery of a Fundraising portfolio – providing excellent supporter care to event participants & supporters organising their own activities, as well as leading on some specific event activities to develop and grow income. You will also work collaboratively across the organisation and wider community to seek new opportunities to grow community fundraising income.

The Community Fundraising Officer will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community groups, schools and other organisations fundraising for Haven House Children’s Hospice. The Community Fundraising Officer will support groups, schools and organisations doing their own events and fundraising activities, work toward agreed income targets, and assist the two Managers in the team with planning and delivering key Haven House events and programmes.
This role will report to the Community & Events Manager and will be responsible for maximising income from across our community through providing an exceptional level of supporter care. This role will also manage a brilliant team of volunteer Community Champions who attend local events and speaking engagements on behalf of Haven House.

The main responsibilities of this role include:
· Respond to supporter queries and feedback across telephone, email, letter or via Orbis UK’s paid social advertising channels. Ensure supporters receive a great experience and feel happy to continue supporting Orbis in future.
· Oversee and deliver thank you communications in response to donations.
· Record and respond to positive and negative feedback when received.
· Update processes on an ongoing basis to ensure they are as efficient as possible. Provide feedback internally on the effectiveness of supporter journeys.
- Assist with the administration of the Raiser’s Edge (RE) database and provide assistance to the Database team when needed.
- Assist the Supporter Engagement Manager in the planning, creation and evaluation of fundraising and communications campaigns where required.
