Key Responsibilities
- Delivering fundraising compliance measures across the Charity.
- Working alongside our external fundraising agencies to quality assure activity ensuring our supporters are at the heart of all they do.

What you’ll be doing
You will produce excellent and compelling funding applications, based on thorough research. You will liaise with colleagues to help construct applications. Once funding is secured, you will steward your portfolio of funders to ensure that they are well informed about our work and inclined to provide us with further support. About the Role
The role sits within the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising (CEF) directorate and reports to its director. Lead and Direct Income Generation and Future Fundraising for Swindon Food Collective
The role has key responsibility for all income generation activities at Swindon Food Collective. This includes high-profile networking with local businesses, corporations and the public sector, processing grant applications, growing and managing key corporate partnerships and significantly increasing fundraising activities. This is a senior role and the role-holder will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Role Purpose
To design, deliver and secure a multi-stream recurring income generation strategy, manage charity-wide philanthropy, and strengthen long-term financial resilience.
Key responsibilities
Strategy and planning
• Develop and deliver a 12–24-month income generation plan aligned to SFC priorities and the Trustee Strategy & Fundraising Committee.
• Build a balanced income mix (corporate, philanthropy, trusts, community and digital where appropriate), with clear targets and resource assumptions.
• Produce compelling cases for support and pitch materials tailored to different audiences.
Corporate partnerships and sponsorship

• Complete and undertake all funding and grant applications (corporate and public sector) in a timely fashion and ahead of relevant deadlines. Report funding progress to stakeholders.

Performance management, systems and compliance
• Manage income forecasting, budgeting and ROI tracking; set and monitor KPIs and provide clear reporting to CEO/Board.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM (or agreed system), ensuring GDPR compliance and strong data quality.
• Ensure fundraising activity aligns with relevant fundraising standards and ethical practice.
Leadership and organisational contribution

Stewardship:

Monitor and help deliver the multi channel supporter enquiries process, ensuring response rate is in line with CALM’s SLA and fundraisers are directed to the appropriate support.

Support with the planning, set up and delivery of stewardship events (both CALM owned and supporter led), assisting with logistics, supporter communications and delivery as required.

About the Giving Directorate and Net Zero Carbon Programme
The Church of England ministers to every community in England, and our mission and ministry is sustained and expanded through a culture of generous giving.
The Giving Directorate plays a vital role in equipping dioceses, parishes, and clergy with the tools and confidence to encourage generosity. Through strategic leadership, innovative resources, and collaborative partnerships, we aim to inspire giving that enables the Church to flourish in every community. We lead major funded projects that strengthen giving across the Church, ensuring that generosity is central to mission and ministry.
The growing department has four teams: Innovation & Insight (leading on innovations, the parish share project, data analysis and marketing); Parish Giving Scheme (giving mechanisms and technology); NZC Fundraising (including policy, philanthropy and gifts in wills) and Learning & Development (delivering training, mentoring, and equipping clergy and diocesan giving advisors, national and regional conferences, and developing online learning resources for parishes).
You will sit within the Net Zero Carbon Fundraising team which leads the strategy to coordinate and support the plans being developed by our dioceses, churches, cathedrals, schools, and departments to secure the significant additional funding needed to decarbonise the Church of England.
What you'll be doing
As the National Fundraising Policy and Compliance Lead you will be the strategic lead for ensuring a strong culture of fundraising compliance and best practice within the Church of England. You will work within the Net Zero Carbon Fundraising team, which co-ordinates the biggest national fundraising programme within the Church of England, to support them to raise significant funds for the Net Zero Carbon Programme in an ethical and compliant way. You will also work with the Giving Directorate to ensure compliance across all their activities. You will create guidance, tools and resources that dioceses and local parishes can use to ensure they are compliant with key fundraising regulations, and create and deliver the training and case studies to support them. You will proactively advise the Head of Net Zero Fundraising on emerging topics of fundraising policy, such as the use of AI in fundraising and changes to key regulations.
This is a fixed-term contract role for three years, and interviews will take place week commencing 27 April.

Our Supporter Fundraising team is looking for two dedicated and supporter-focused individuals to become Support Officers. Your job will be to provide administrative support to fundraising colleagues, with a specific focus on enabling, stewarding and thanking supporters who choose to fundraise for us, donate in memory of a loved one, enquire about a legacy or purchase a virtual gift.
We are looking for someone who can bring efficiency and care to our fundraising work. You will have strong attention to detail and be an excellent manager of your own time as you complete tasks for specific projects and colleagues.
This is a varied role, including the creation of email journeys and stewardship communications, assistance with events, co-ordinating mailings and resource production, updating the website and other digital platforms, and ensuring the timely payment of invoices. You will ensure that donor records and database actions are completed accurately and in a timely manner, and fulfil all resource requests quickly and efficiently. You’ll regularly liaise with internal and external stakeholders to complete these tasks.

Key Responsibilities
Supporter Communications (Events & In-Memory Giving)
- Act as a secondary point of contact for supporters, including challenge event fundraisers and in-memory donors – being a supportive, sensitive and encouraging ear and delivering the best possible standards of supporter care.
- Fulfil resource requests (including fundraising packs, Gifts in Wills packs and other materials) in a timely manner and provide any necessary additional support to ensure effective use.
- Produce tailored thank you letters and cards to supporters about their financial gifts and other support.
- Support volunteers with resource ordering and usage.
- Work across CAFOD teams to help deliver excellent supporter retention and stewardship.
Fundraising Promotions and Appeals
- Work closely with the other Fundraising Support Officer and consult with team leaders to identify pressure points for capacity, creating plans to support work reactively across fundraising teams at key moments.
- Provide administrative support for donation platforms including the World Gifts online shop, liaising with Digital and IT teams to set up and test backend processes.
- Contribute to digital fundraising by improving and updating relevant web pages.
- Support the delivery of multi-donor segment direct mailings, parish mailings and emails for specific and emergency appeals.
- Identify and recommend efficiencies in appeal processes and support additional tasks or projects as requested.
Data Management
- Monitor donations and requests for resources, working with relevant teams (including Supporter Relations, Legacy Marketing, Parish Fundraising and Donor Experience) to produce appropriate and tailored responses, including moments for special acknowledgement.
- Upload inbound communications accurately and promptly on the supporter database, identify and correct data quality issues, and maintain donor contact details in compliance with GDPR and fundraising best practice.

Role Purpose:
The Fundraising & Marketing team’s purpose is to advocate for and raise flexible and unrestricted funding to enable Womankind to deliver it’s 2030 organisational strategy.
The Fundraising and Marketing Officer supports the growth of Womankind’s fundraising income by delivering engaging, donor-focused fundraising and marketing activity across online and offline channels. Essential Experience:

Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Fundraising to lead and further develop our fundraising activity at a pivotal time for the Cathedral. This is a strategic and hands on role, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Management Team to secure the resources needed to sustain and grow the Cathedral’s mission, ministry and buildings.
You will take the lead on generating fundraising income, primarily through trusts and foundations, while also developing appeals, legacy giving, regular giving and new fundraising income streams. You will build on the strong foundations already in place, bringing creativity, rigour and collaboration to everything you do.
