About the role
The Corporate Partnerships Manager role is responsible for delivery across the breadth of the partnerships pipeline.  An estimated 50% of the role will be devoted to new business development, including prospect identification, and shaping and delivering pitches and proposals to corporates and their foundations to meet fundraising targets.  The remaining 50% of partnership work will be dedicated to delivering an excellent standard of partnership management to several longstanding existing supporters, working creatively to identify and develop opportunities to maximise their impact.

As our corporate supporters can be powerful partners in the delivery of our advocacy and communications goals you will be confident working with colleagues internally to translate campaign plans into engagement opportunities for private sector partners. You will also be able to co-ordinate colleagues to meet new business deadlines and to ensure agreed partnership deliverables are achieved.

This role sits within our Philanthropy and Partnerships team of five, who focus on income generation through grants, philanthropy, corporate partnerships and individual giving and fundraising.  The post holder will work particularly closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, as well as equipping Directors and our CEO to engage corporate partners and prospects where appropriate.  As a member of a comparatively small, highly ambitious team, there may, with time, be opportunities for the post holder to extend their experience beyond corporate partnerships, into other fundraising areas, should your skill set meet an identified need.

About you
You may be an established corporate fundraiser seeking a role where you can take on greater responsibility for managing your own pipeline of prospects and key partnerships.  Equally you may come from outside the sector and be able to offer clearly transferable experience of securing and developing partnerships (especially those with a “purpose” focus).

Whatever your background you will be a self-starter who is highly motivated and excited by the opportunity to think creatively about corporate partnerships that can enable Malaria No More UK’s unique advocacy and campaigning offer, with a clear goal to ending one of the world’s most significant and oldest killer diseases.

Context and Responsibilities within this role:

Cook for Good is about to move into their third year of operating. They have grown quickly from a start up to a high profile social enterprise. Initially most of their corporate sales and partnership revenue was generated organically, driven by their founders' networks. In this role you will work closely with C4G's Corporate Partnership Manager and Events Director to support all in-bound sales enquiries for their corporate team building events and convert to bookings.

* You will support the business development team in dealing with enquiries from leads they generate as well as liaising with existing clients.
* You will also support the Events team to co-ordinate the booking of events and liaising with corporate clients in both the lead in and follow up to an event.
* Organise and occasionally host show rounds for prospective clients.
* Occasional research to identify new prospects and circulate sales information where required to support Corporate Partnership Manager and Marketing Manager
* Ad hoc support on social media updates (LinkedIn and Instagram) to promote Cook for Good through client and wider networks

* Ability to communicate, inspire and engage well with a wide range of stakeholders and prospective clients
* Experience of using a CRM system and ensuring timely and accurate reporting on sales pipelines, targets and key account status
* Excellent interpersonal, planning and organisational skills with great attention to detail supported by strong system administration.

As Trusts and Foundations Manager, you will advise, develop and implement a strategy to secure income, and build a sustainable income stream, from charitable trusts, National Lottery and statutory bodies as part of the overall fundraising strategy. You will proactively prospect research to identify potential charitable trusts, National Lottery and statutory bodies funding streams with a view to securing restricted and unrestricted income for core activity and for new programmes of work. While you will work in a small, fully remote team day to day, you will be part of the global Pratham network. The team in India has over 6,000 staff, and they raise $28m locally. Pratham USA has 14 chapters and produces around 12 galas a year, which contributes to its $30m income; you can share the films and branding of their galas, meaning we can really stretch our budget to put on an outstanding event. 

We are a small team, and whilst an events person is vital for our development if someone wanted to get involved in other fundraising streams, particularly corporate or major donors, we would be delighted to read about it in your application and discuss it at the interview or in a call before the interview—which are welcomed.

All current staff have visited India to see the programmes, and whilst we can't guarantee you a visit as we grow, it remains an ambition. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will be looking after a portfolio of longstanding five-figure partnerships and will focus particularly on building new business relationships.

This role is offered on a permanent, full-time (part-time considered) basis paying a salary of £39,083 per annum. This role can be fully remote or hybrid. The War Child Alliance brings together the five War Child fundraising members (in the Netherlands, UK, Germany and Sweden, plus Children in Conflict in the US), with 14 programme members, based in and around conflict-affected areas across the world and coordinated by a new international body: the War Child Alliance Foundation. Through the Alliance they are integrating programme activities under one umbrella – allowing War Child to combine strengths and pool resources – all with the aim to multiply impact for conflict-affected children.

As part of the Trusts and Institutional funding team of four you’ll work alongside the Head of Trusts and Institutional, Trusts Manager and Trusts Executive, and be line managed by the new Trusts and Institutional Funding Lead.

Your key objective is to provide operational, administrative and analytical support to the team to grow income and enable War Child to deliver quality programmes. You’ll ensure compliance with quality and donor requirements, contribute to effective risk management, provide support for the different donor accounts and ensure processes and systems are in place, implemented and efficient.

The role requires proactive collaboration with cross-functional teams, excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and strong communication skills.

About the role

• Develop donor profiles by conducting research on potential donors, including their funding focus, giving history, and connections to War Child.
• Plan and prepare meetings with donors by collaborating with senior colleagues and stakeholders to determine strategic objectives and key messages.
• Monitor and share potential funding opportunities with the relevant Donor Account Managers within the Trusts and Institutional Funding team.
• Support the implementation of internal grant management processes.

We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, part-time Development and Operations Manager to oversee, grow and develop our organisation to continue to serve our community as we deal with an increase in demand for our services post pandemic and with the rise in the Cost-of-Living crisis.

Duties:

- Lead on organisational development, business, and strategy planning.

Requirements -

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience in non-profit fundraising and writing successful business plans and strategies.

- Experience of leading on prospect management, taking the initiative, identifying, and reaching out to new trusts and foundations supporters.

- Experience in developing and managing high-quality relationships with trusts and foundations and/or high-net-worth individuals.

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and to achieve results in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

About the role

The Senior Event Manager is a pivotal new position within the Advancement team. You will play a leading role in planning, executing, and overseeing events and experiences which will not only build momentum towards and launch UCL's next fundraising campaign in 2026, but will also maintain stakeholder engagement with the campaign during its duration.

Globally, you will build and deliver a programme of insider and teaser experiences, launch events, tours, reunions, and gatherings around campaign themes. This will involve travel to regions where UCL builds important philanthropic relationships, including countries in East Asia, North America, Europe, and the Middle East, approximately 2-4 times per year.

We are happy to consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible (minimum 0.8 FTE - equivalent of 4 days per week, stated salary to be pro-rata).

This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 20% on site.
