Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW) is Wales’ leading charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers. Founded in 1993, we have spent more than three decades championing the welfare of sighthounds and working towards our vision: a Wales without greyhound racing, where every greyhound and lurcher has a home and receives the best possible care.

In April 2026, after 25 years of determined campaigning to improve welfare and regulation within the racing industry, legislation to ban greyhound racing in Wales was finally passed. To help us grow sustainably and strengthen our long‑term impact, we are now seeking to develop our fundraising team with the creation of a Head of Fundraising role. You will lead and work closely with the Trusts & Foundations Officer, Sponsorship & Individual Giving Officer and Community & Events Fundraiser to deliver an annual income target of £400K+.

Role

The Head of Fundraising is a senior leadership role with overall accountability for the strategic development, operational effectiveness and performance of all fundraising activity at Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW).

The role will drive, lead and grow our fundraising strategy and has responsibility for developing diverse, sustainable income streams and building strong relationships with supporters, partners, and funders.

The role holds end‑to‑end accountability for income delivery across trusts and foundations, community and event fundraising, and sponsorship and individual giving.

The postholder will work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, including fundraising colleagues, the CEO, and wider management team, drawing upon their expertise to develop effective fundraising plans, test assumptions and ensure the charity is represented professionally, authentically and consistently.

Given the nature of SUDEP Action's work, the role also requires sensitivity, empathy and the ability to engage thoughtfully with people affected by epilepsy and bereavement.

Job description:
This exciting role will suit an experienced fundraising leader who can deliver strategically and influence at a senior level both internally and externally. The successful candidate will be as comfortable presenting to a room of potential supporters as they will managing a complex funding application or persuading a high-profile funder to come on board. They will devise and implement fundraising initiatives and strategies to build and manage partnerships, working creatively to grow existing funding and establish new income sources.

Reporting to the external relations director, this role will manage the fundraising manager and trusts fundraiser. They will also be part of Frontline’s leadership group. The role is for a six-month fixed-term contract as we are revisiting and updating our fundraising strategy in line with organisational changes. The postholder will be able to help input and develop the new fundraising approach and strategy.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with the external relations director to review, evolve and implement the long-term organisational fundraising strategy, to meet the growing need for income through a variety of diverse sources
• Identify and cultivate new relationships with corporates, HNWI and trusts and foundations, to meet organisational fundraising targets
• Manage key relationships with existing donors and grow these to become a sustainable longer-term income stream
• Support the fundraising manager and trusts fundraiser with management of their accounts (including writing inspiring applications and reports), as well as with developing pipelines and implementing new ideas for raising income
• Design and deliver a programme of inspirational cultivation and stewardship activities, including events, in collaboration with the events officer
• Maintain robust processes around budgeting, forecasting and planning, working closely with the finance and delivery teams
• Work closely with communications and delivery teams to develop compelling cases for support

Purpose of the role:

As Community Fundraising Officer, you'll play a key role in growing Sheffield Hospitals Charity's income, reach and relationships across Sheffield.

This is a role where you'll have real ownership, managing your own portfolio of community partnerships, self-led fundraising, collections and volunteers, while building new relationships and finding opportunities to grow support for the charity.

Income Generation

Work to achieve agreed income targets by developing community fundraising opportunities and relationships with new and existing supporters.

Manage a portfolio of community fundraisers and supporters, providing advice, resources and support to maximise income and engagement.

Lead community fundraising activities and campaigns, including Mince Pie Morning, ensuring they are well planned and promoted to maximise participation, income and engagement.

Develop and manage partnerships with colleges, community groups and organisations, securing annual and multi-year commitments and opportunities to increase fundraising and awareness.

Act as the main contact for community partnerships, providing support and stewardship and attending relevant fundraising activities and events.

Develop supporter journeys for community fundraisers and partners, using communications and stewardship to encourage continued engagement and retention.

Manage community collection activity, developing relationships with supermarkets, football stadiums, train stations and other partners to secure regular and seasonal opportunities.

Identify new collection opportunities, evaluating income, resource and engagement to focus activity where it has the greatest impact.

Keep up to date with community fundraising trends and developments, identifying new opportunities, approaches and technologies to maximise income and engagement.

Support fundraising activity with NHS staff, developing opportunities to engage staff across Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Sheffield Health Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. Use the fundraising database to accurately record and monitor community fundraising, income, engagement and supporter relationships.

Monitor, evaluate and report on community fundraising against agreed targets, using learning to inform future activity and budgets.

Collaborative Working

Work with the Brand & Communications team to develop promotional activity, share supporter stories and identify PR and awareness opportunities.

Work with the Events Fundraising team to use community contacts to promote charity events, encourage participation and maximise fundraising.

Support the events programme through regular attendance, typically – but not exclusively – as a volunteer manager.

Work with the Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to develop opportunities for businesses and corporate groups to support community fundraising.

Build and maintain relationships with colleagues across our beneficiary NHS Trusts to increase awareness and identify staff and departmental engagement opportunities.

Develop resources, toolkits and guidance with colleagues to support community fundraisers, volunteers and partners.

Share community fundraising insight and learning with the wider fundraising team to inform campaigns, supporter journeys and plans.

Volunteers

Deliver the charity’s volunteer recruitment and engagement strategy, including effective recruitment, onboarding and retention.

Build positive relationships with volunteers, fostering a sense of community, belonging and common purpose.

Recruit, coordinate and support volunteers across fundraising activities, events and collections.

Develop volunteer journeys, recognising contribution and encouraging long-term involvement.

Develop relationships with volunteer leads across corporate groups, universities and community organisations to increase volunteer recruitment and engagement.

Maintain accurate volunteer records and monitor engagement using the charity’s CRM.

General

Represent Sheffield Hospitals Charity at fundraising, community and networking events, acting as an ambassador and communicating the charity’s impact through presentations, speeches and cheque presentations.

Ensure community fundraising activity complies with Fundraising Regulator requirements, GDPR and relevant charity policies and procedures.

Complete risk assessments for community fundraising and volunteer activity, ensuring the health and safety of supporters and volunteers.

Attend relevant training, workshops, webinars and networking opportunities to maintain and develop community fundraising knowledge.

Attend and contribute to team, project and organisational meetings and one-to-ones.

Undertake other duties appropriate to the role and level of responsibility.

• Reports to: Chief Executive Officer, working closely with the Programmes Lead and Finance & Governance Lead.
• Hours: We anticipate appointing this role as a 2 days per week (0.4 FTE) employee. However, we are also open to hearing from experienced freelance fundraising professionals who are interested in delivering an agreed programme of work on a consultancy basis, equivalent to approximately one day per week.
• Salary: Employee: £27,000–£31,000 FTE (£10,800–£12,400 pro rata for 2 days/16 hours per week), depending on experience. Consultancy: Day rate to be agreed, depending on experience and scope of work.
• Location: Remote, with approximately two consecutive days per month at our office in Liverpool and occasional travel for meetings or events.

Worldwide Radiology is a UK registered charity working to improve access to high-quality diagnostic imaging in low- and middle-income countries.

Working alongside hospitals, universities and health partners around the world, we develop practical, sustainable solutions that strengthen radiology services and improve patient care. Much of our work is delivered through a global network of volunteers and long-term partnerships.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious fundraiser ready to take the next step in their career and take ownership of fundraising within a growing charity.

As Worldwide Radiology's dedicated fundraising professional, you will lead our day-to-day fundraising activity across community fundraising, individual giving and trusts and foundations. Key Responsibilities

Fundraising (Lead)

You will take ownership of WWR's fundraising activity across your portfolio, working closely with the CEO while leading delivery day-to-day. Responsibilities include:

• Leading delivery of fundraising across community fundraising, individual giving and smaller trusts and foundations.
• Researching, writing and submitting grant applications to trusts and foundations.
• Managing relationships with existing trust funders and individual donors, including stewardship and reporting.
• Planning and delivering community fundraising campaigns, supporter events and online fundraising activities, including the Big Give Christmas Challenge and JustGiving campaigns.
• Developing opportunities to grow our supporter base and increase donor retention.

Person Specification

Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse (AAFDA) is a well-established and respected national charity offering specialist and expert advocacy and peer support to families bereaved by fatal domestic abuse. We have an exciting opportunity to build upon and grow our fundraising success to date, in the role ofFundraising and Grants Manager. We are seeking an experienced fundraising professional, with the drive and determination to manage all aspects of our fundraising function.

AAFDA is currently funded by statutory bodies, trusts and foundations, corporates, events and individuals. Under your management, you will identify, cultivate and grow these existing and new fundraising streams.As AAFDA’s Fundraising and Grants Manager, you will be responsible for oversight and growth of voluntary and statutory funding income, including from individuals (regular and one-off gifts, major donors and legacy giving), community groups, trusts and foundations, corporates, the statutory sector (including Police and Crime Commissioners) and other benefactors. Starting from a strong foundation with multiple opportunities for growth, you will lead on the delivery of our ambitious, multi-year, multi-disciplinary fundraising strategy with an annual fundraising plan agreed with senior management.  With keen funder and customer awareness, you will regularly monitor and review both the plan and the strategy, in addition to working closely with our Finance Manager to manage diverse income streams and achieve income targets to fund AAFDA’s unique support and advocacy work with families bereaved by fatal domestic abuse.  Holding responsibility for maintaining and developing the website and building social media programmes, you will undertake an ambassadorial approach in all activity to assist our CEO and Director of Services to lead and manage the AAFDA brand and corporate identity, with a focus on generating earned income, by extending awareness of what AAFDA does and how successful we are.

About the Role
We are looking for a Development Coordinator to support and develop Outside Edge Theatre Company’s fundraising and income generation.

Working closely with the Artistic Director/CEO, Trustees and external consultants, you will play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of fundraising activity, with a particular focus on trust and foundation fundraising, individual giving, corporate relationships, supporter communications and donor stewardship.

This is a newly created role and we welcome applications from candidates interested in taking their first steps in a career in fundraising. Training, strategic support and development opportunities will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
Grant Management
– Research, prepare and write high-quality applications to trusts and foundations.
– Identify new funding opportunities and manage application deadlines.
– Coordinate funder acknowledgements, monitoring and evaluation reports.
– Support the development of statutory contracts and restricted project funding.

Individual & Major Giving
– Support the implementation of a new individual and major giving strategy.
– Analyse donor data to identify engagement and fundraising opportunities.
– Develop fundraising campaigns, donor events and personalised supporter communications.
– Lead supporter stewardship and cultivation events.
– Develop targeted content and approaches for high-net-worth individuals and corporate partners.

Corporate & Challenge Events
– Support the implementation of the corporate and challenge events strategy.
– Develop and deliver challenge events.
– Build relationships with corporate partners and sponsors.
– Support social media and community engagement to recruit challenge event fundraisers.

Communications & Administration
– Oversee the monthly supporter newsletter and other fundraising communications.
– Update donor communications, website and promotional materials.
– Maintain accurate Gift Aid, income and expenditure and fundraising records.
– Keep the development database up to date and use Salesforce and Mailchimp effectively.
– Ensure fundraising systems and procedures are effective and GDPR compliant.
– Prepare fundraising reports and keep up to date with fundraising and charity sector developments.

Person Specification
We are looking for someone with:

– An interest in fundraising or supporter engagement, gained through paid work, volunteering or other relevant experience.
– Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to adapt communications for different audiences and platforms.
– Experience in an administrative, fundraising, customer service or similar role.
– Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.
– Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with a wide range of people, including public speaking.
– Good IT skills; CRM experience is desirable.
– The ability to analyse data and identify trends.
– A positive, inspiring and collaborative approach.
– A passion and commitment to arts with social inclusion at its core.
– The ability to manage a varied workload in a busy, fast-changing environment.
– A willingness to meet the requirements of Outside Edge’s Vulnerable Adults Protection Policy.
– A willingness to support marketing and promotional activity.

The Head of Fundraising will work closely with our Chief Executive and will be responsible for developing and delivering a strategic fundraising programme that generates sustainable income and supports the organisation's growth aligned to ambitions. As a member of the senior leadership team, the postholder will provide strategic direction, lead fundraising initiatives across multiple income streams, build high-value partnerships and embed a culture of fundraising and income generation across the Trust, helping teams understand their role in supporter engagement and income growth.

The role will oversee all fundraising activity, including major donors / sponsors, corporate partnerships, individual giving, community fundraising, legacy giving, and fundraising events. The postholder will also have responsibility for overseeing and working closely with the Communications and Marketing team to shape compelling cases for support and ensure our impact is clearly communicated to supporters and partners.

We identify, protect and support children and families separated by international borders as a result of conflict, trafficking, migration, family breakdown and asylum-related issues.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced fundraiser to join CFAB at an exciting stage of our development. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of a small charity with a global reach, securing sustainable income that enables children and families across borders to remain connected, protected and supported.

Trusts and foundations will be at the heart of your role, building on our strong portfolio of funders while developing opportunities across corporate partnerships, supporter stewardship, challenge events and other emerging income streams. Working closely with the Deputy CEO, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of our fundraising strategy, develop new opportunities and help strengthen CFAB's fundraising capability.

As our senior operational fundraising lead, you'll have significant autonomy and the opportunity to influence organisational strategy while working as part of a collaborative team spanning fundraising, policy, communications and digital engagement. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful contribution to a growing organisation with an international impact.

You will also have the opportunity to recruit and line manage a Fundraising Coordinator from January 2027, helping to shape the next phase of CFAB's fundraising function.
