We are looking for an experienced fundraising and relationship manager, who is motivated by the difference our work makes for small charities throughout the UK.

About this role

As Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, you will play a central role in developing and managing Cranfield Trust's high-value relationships with funders, donors and partners. This includes identifying new funding and partnership opportunities, shaping compelling proposals, and building and stewarding trusted relationships that lead to long-term support. 

You would be joining us at an important point in our development, with a new CEO, and a new strategy being introduced later this year. Demand for our support is high and growing rapidly, and how we respond will shape our future impact.

This is a remote working role, open to candidates based anywhere in the United Kingdom, but occasional attendance at face-to-face meetings, events and in-house training/development is a core requirement of the role.  In this role, you will work closely with our Wales and Scotland Managers and we are keen to hear from interested candidates in Scotland or Wales.

The Community Fundraising Manager will play a key role in driving sustainable income growth by leading and developing a diverse fundraising portfolio across community fundraising, corporate partnerships, high-value supporters, and events. The role will build strong, long-term relationships and deliver engaging campaigns that inspire support and deepen connection to St John Ambulance Cymru’s mission

About The Role

We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Fundraising Manager, working 35 hours per week, to join our Growth and Partnerships team. Working closely with the Head of Growth & Partnerships, you will play a key role in delivering and developing NYAS’s fundraising strategy, helping to grow and diversify income across trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, community fundraising and individual giving.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser who enjoys both strategic and hands-on work. About You

We are looking for a skilled fundraising professional with experience securing income from a range of fundraising streams, including trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships, community fundraising and/or individual giving.

You will have excellent written communication skills and experience producing persuasive funding applications, reports and donor communications. You will also have strong organisational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities and experience supporting or supervising others within a fundraising environment.

You will be confident building relationships with internal and external stakeholders and able to use data and insight to inform fundraising activity and demonstrate impact. Experience using CRM systems and fundraising platforms is essential, alongside a good understanding of fundraising regulations and best practice.

• Leading the development of a more structured, insight-led stewardship approach, ensuring clarity on when a personalised, relationship-led approach adds the most value
• Supporting and guiding Legacy Engagement Managers to prioritise and build relationships with supporters most likely to leave significant gifts

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Individual Giving & Legacy Manager to lead and grow our Individual Giving, Legacy and In Memory fundraising programmes.

This is a pivotal role where you’ll drive sustainable income growth through innovative, data-led, multi-channel fundraising. You’ll shape supporter journeys, deepen engagement, and maximise long-term donor value across a range of channels including digital, direct mail, telemarketing, lotteries, face-to-face and press.

You’ll also line manage and support a team member, while working collaboratively with colleagues across fundraising, communications and service delivery to deliver compelling, supporter-focused campaigns.

What we definitely need is someone with a strong foundation in Individual Giving - that means the ability to lead on campaigns and product development, as well as confidently manage pipeline planning.

You'll take creative control and responsibility for delivering effective multi-channel fundraising appeals, including key moments in the campaign calendar, such as the Christmas appeal. Using insight, storytelling and data to deepen relationships and grow income, you'll develop meaningful supporter journeys that recruit, retain and inspire generosity. Working closely with colleagues across communications, operations and programmes, you'll help strengthen collaboration across teams, ensuring day-to-day activity and processes support the shared goal of bringing Church Army's mission to life.

You'll also line manage the Individual Giving Officer, providing guidance and support, as well as supervising and supporting the Trusts Consultant and Legacy Consultant. This could be a perfect development opportunity for someone looking to build or grow their leadership experience.
 

About you
 

• You're already an experienced Individual Giving fundraiser with a passion and talent for exceptional storytelling, able to write compelling copy that inspires people to take action.
• You can demonstrate previous experience managing campaigns or projects end-to-end and feel confident working with data and insight to optimise results.
• You either already see yourself as a leader or have ambition to be one, with the potential and capability to lead by example and provide guidance and mentorships to others.

We really want to emphasise that you don't need to tick all the boxes to be considered, but you do need to be motivated to broaden your skillset and experience, with natural curiosity and a solutions-focused way of being.

Alignment with Church Army's Christian mission and feeling comfortable working in a faith-based environment where prayer and shared values are part of daily life is important. This role has an occupational requirement for the postholder to be a practising Christian.

Supporter Engagement & Fundraising Communications Manager — Go Beyond £35,000–£37,000 | Fully Remote | Permanent | Full-time

Go Beyond has given over 21,000 vulnerable children life-changing residential breaks since 1994. Young carers who spend their days looking after parents. Children living in poverty for whom a school holiday means hunger, not adventure. Children who've been bullied or bereaved and need a week away from their ordinary life.

The charity is entirely self-funded. £1.8 million a year, every penny raised by supporters. No government money. Which means the work this fundraising team does is directly and specifically what makes those breaks possible.

This is the role that sits at the heart of that.

What makes this moment unusual:

Go Beyond's flagship campaign, Ice Cream Moments, launches this summer — backed by Louis Theroux, James Acaster, David Gower and Jenny Agutter. The trustees want to go viral. A legacy programme is built and ready to launch. An alumni programme connecting with 21,000+ former beneficiaries is research-complete and waiting for someone to open the door. And a loyal supporter base of 200–300 regular givers — many of whom have been giving for over a decade — is generating £90,000 a year with almost no stewardship behind it.

Sara, the Director of Fundraising, describes what's needed like this: "Think of this as your own company. Think of this income stream as your domain — you could make it something amazing."

What the role involves:

The Supporter Engagement & Fundraising Communications Manager will own the supporter communications function end to end. This is a project management and strategy role — not an execution role. The doing sits with two direct reports and a network of freelancers. Your job is to build the plan, manage the team, deliver the campaigns and make sure the data tells you what's working.

In practice that means:

• Building and managing proper supporter journeys for regular givers, challenge event runners and Ice Cream Moments donors
• Project managing the full campaigns calendar — four annual appeals, Ice Cream Moments, challenge events, and a growing digital communications programme
• Developing and implementing a data strategy, setting up income dashboards and overseeing the CRM
• Launching the legacy programme and, in time, the alumni programme
• Managing two direct reports: a Digital Marketing Officer and a Data & Admin / Challenge Events Officer
• Writing an 18-month strategy with proper pipelines and income forecasts

What we're looking for:

This is not a pure fundraiser role or a pure marketing role. It's a hybrid — and the right person will see that as a feature, not a confusion.

• A track record of owning campaigns end to end — not being part of them, owning them. Specific examples, with dates, outputs and results
• Genuine data literacy — comfortable in a CRM, able to run queries, understand segmentation. Not expert-level, but curious enough that you're never caught out
• Financial awareness — you ask what the target is before anything else. You work backwards from an income number
• Hands-on as well as strategic — you can delegate and direct, but you can also do
• Strong project management — multiple workstreams, freelancers, deadlines you can't move

Charity sector experience is welcome but not essential. Commercial direct marketing, agency-side or individual giving backgrounds are all genuinely considered.
