We are looking for a Fundraising Manager (Trusts and Foundations) to join our high-performing and talented fundraising team, all of whom have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for our mission to support young people achieve their ambitions.
You will be working with a diverse range of supporters - from family trusts through to major grant-giving foundations. You will have the opportunity to play a key role in managing and stewarding our current partnerships, and securing new supporters in order to meet and exceed our ambitious fundraising targets.
This is a varied and exciting role, ranging from rolling your sleeves up to meet a tight deadline, completing a bid for a major new funding opportunity, through to leading and inspiring team members to meet our strategic goals.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team. About the role
It is an exciting time to join the British Museum. Under the leadership of Director Dr Nicholas Cullinan OBE and the Board of Trustees, the Museum is embarking on an ambitious programme of transformation through its , a major redevelopment project that will reimagine the Museum for the 21st century while safeguarding its collection and ensuring public access for generations to come.
As part of this vision, the Museum is preparing to launch a major fundraising campaign with a target of raising at least £500 million through philanthropy.
As Philanthropy Manager, you will play a key role in securing and stewarding major gifts from individual supporters, family foundations, trusts, donor-advised funds and other philanthropic partners. Working closely with senior colleagues across the Development team and wider Museum, you will help grow long-term relationships with donors, develop compelling funding opportunities, and support the delivery of ambitious fundraising targets for both revenue and capital projects.
About you
You are an experienced major gifts fundraiser with a track record of securing five- and six-figure donations and managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, foundations and their advisors. You are a confident communicator and persuasive writer, able to build strong relationships and develop compelling cases for support.
Highly organised and self-motivated, you are comfortable managing a varied portfolio of prospects, balancing competing priorities and working towards ambitious income targets. You bring strong judgement, excellent stakeholder management skills and a collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively across a complex organisation.

Role Overview
As the Mid & Major Donor Manager, you will develop and deliver strategies that inspire individuals to invest in the mission of 24-7 Prayer through four and five-figure gifts. You will manage a portfolio of mid and major donors and prospects, leading cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activity that helps supporters deepen their partnership with the movement. Through thoughtful relationship management, you'll create personalised opportunities for donors to engage with the stories, people and projects that matter most to them.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of fundraising at SOS UK. As we diversify our income streams, you will play a central role in developing high value partnerships that support our mission and long-term sustainability.
Over the past 12 months, SOS UK has laid the foundations for a new relationship fundraising programme. During this period, an Interim Head of Relationship Fundraising established a strong pipeline of prospective partners and supporters, developed a suite of partnership propositions and engagement materials, and built relationships with organisations aligned to SOS UK's mission.
Alongside this, SOS UK is launching a new Development Board, bringing together leaders from industries facing key green skills shortages alongside young people helping to shape the future workforce and sustainability agenda.
