Brief role description

This is a key role, responsible for developing and managing relationships with corporate and community partners, amplifying their voice, and helping scale impact across South London and beyond.

About the role

This role will lead the corporate engagement strategy, working with major financial institutions and tech firms to secure device donations, fundraising support and volunteering opportunities. The role also manages a passionate and dedicated network of grassroots partners, oversees device distribution, and support organisations working to end digital exclusion.

This role also includes line management of our Volunteer Coordinator, supporting digital inclusion projects, and representing Community TechAid externally at events and meetings.

We’re hiring for a passionate and supporter focused individual to join our legacy marketing team. As the first point of contact for some of our most valued supporters, you’ll help refer them to have their Will written for free, answer questions or arrange a special tour of the hospital. You’ll also take on a key role to ensure the smooth running of our legacy marketing campaigns and events.

This role is known internally as Legacy Marketing Executive. 

Salary

The salary for this position is £33,234 and we operate a hybrid working policy of a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact (telephone and email) for supporter calls and enquiries for the Legacy Marketing team. 
• Collaborate with the Supporter Relations team to manage queries. 
• Process third party invoices for approval, tracking against expenditure log. 
• Provide exceptional customer service and supporter guidance.
• Provide administration and event management support for legacy events.

About the Team

Sitting in the wider Fundraising Directorate, this role sits within our small but mighty Legacy Marketing team, which is part of our wider Legacy and Donor Development team (who look after our cash and raffle programmes). Legacy Marketing is the top fundraising priority at GOSH Charity meaning we have huge ambitions and healthy investment in our fundraising area. 

Our Client is a UK charity supporting vulnerable women and families facing unexpected pregnancy or pregnancy loss. Through supported housing, a helpline and counselling service, and practical, non-judgemental support, this Charity helps pregnant women, often aged 16-25 and in crisis due to homelessness, abuse, or other trauma, build safer, more stable futures. Grounded in the universal values of Humanity, Solidarity, Community, Charity and the Common Good, the Charity is strengthening philanthropy to increase impact nationwide. The team is now looking to appoint a Philanthropy Manager, and Prospectus is leading the search.

Philanthropy Manager

Part time, 21 hours per week over 3 days

Home-based with frequent travel to supporter locations; occasional travel to Leamington Spa Head Office

£36,000-£40,000 per annum (FTE)

The Philanthropy Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of dedicated major donors, developing inspiring, personalised supporter journeys that deepen engagement and secure repeat and increased gifts. Working within a committed and supportive team, you'll raise awareness of the Charity's services, build mutually beneficial relationships, and deliver sustainable long-term support through thoughtful cultivation, compelling proposals, and excellent stewardship.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and working closely with the Individual Giving Manager and wider fundraising colleagues, you will proactively identify and research prospects, plan targeted approaches, and lead solicitations. The role will also engage with senior church contacts (e.g. Archbishops and diocesan representatives) who have a history of support; while the Charity is non-religious and non-political, you'll bring sensitivity and confidence operating within these settings to advance shared philanthropic goals.

The successful candidate will bring a strong track record of securing four- and five-figure gifts, crafting persuasive cases for support, and managing high-value pipelines from identification to stewardship. You'll be a collaborative relationship-builder with excellent written and verbal communication, rigorous research skills, and the ability to tailor engagement for diverse audiences while upholding the Charity's values and client-centred ethos.
