About the role
This is an exciting time to join Able Child Africa to lead our new team as we look to invest and grow our fundraising and communications capabilities. Leading a team of three to four fundraisers, this role will lead the strategic development of our fundraising and communications stream of work. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following activities are intended as a guide to the main responsibilities of the post and are not an exhaustive list of duties and tasks. The post-holder may be required to undertake other duties that are not listed below, at the direction of the Director of Operations.
1. Planning
- Ensure that the Love146 pool of prospective funders is continually refreshed and strengthened, through the management of on-going research about potential funders

2. Income Generation and Reporting
- Research funders, identify and pursue new partnership opportunities

THE ROLE
The Senior Fundraising Campaigns Officer sits within the individual Giving team and will play an integral role in growing restricted and unrestricted income streams.They have a successful retention programme in place and have maintained a steady and reliable stream of income year on year. In coming years, they are implementing a growth strategy, so continuing to maintain this success will be key.
You will ensure their supporter engagement platforms offer exceptional user journeys designed to maximize supporters' life time value. You will develop new fundraising opportunities to grow income; this includes leading on the cash repeat giving programme, upgrade and reactivation programme and mid-value programme. There also is potential to develop new fundraising propositions to diversity the charity's current income streams.
Key initiatives include:
* Implementing strategic priority areas for IG retention
* Developing the donor loyalty programme ensuring excellent user experience for their donors by mapping out existing supporter journeys and identifying key areas that will elevate the stewardship programme.
* Implementing processes to collate supporter data, in particular data around support motivation, and use these insights to enrich the existing stewardship programme.
* Lead on implementing a cash repeat giving strategy, which will improve supporter's second cash gift rate. You will develop an engaging welcome programme to encourage donors to make that vital second gift which will have a significant impact on supporter LTV.
* You will develop an upgrade programme to encourage active regular givers, to uplift their regular gift. You will reach audiences through multiple channels including mail, email and phone. You will optimise activity through various tactics, such as prompt testing, script or creative development and call listening.
* Develop new fundraising initiatives, including working with creative agencies to produce engaging campaign materials, and working alongside the retail function to facilitate cross-selling opportunities in charity shops
YOU
To succeed in this Senior Fundraising Campaigns Officer role, you'll need:
· Proven direct marketing project management skills
* Experience of managing and delivering a fundraising campaign
* Experience developing engaging content centred on donor engagement
* An understanding of data management, data manipulation and data selections to underpin financial decisions and supporter insight
* Experience of reporting on campaign results effectively and producing post campaign reports to inform future activity.
* Ideally to have experience of using Raiser's Edge to effectively report on direct marketing related CRM data

The Charity
A long standing, extremely respected charity, dedicated to delivering life-saving emergency relief and longer-term medical care to some of the most vulnerable and excluded communities around the world.
The Role
Work closely with the F2F Manager to monitor and develop the face to face program. This includes assessing the needs of the team, the approach taken, monitoring and developing the face-to-face fundraising strategy.
Manage and develop the F2F team members by providing coaching and ensuring that ongoing training is available to the team.
Provide expertise in face to face fundraising techniques, objection handling, codes of conduct and day to day operations.
Provide leadership by setting high team standards, implemented through the line management and development of the team, ensuring teams are effectively coached and managed to achieve high quality donor recruitment.
Lead the recruitment process for the face-to-face team.
Liaise with HR / payroll provider in collaboration with the face to face Manager to provide feedback on interview candidates, updates on Fundraiser performance, discuss HR needs and maintain a recruitment schedule to ensure consistency of team capacity.
The Candidate
Substantial experience of managing and coaching F2F Fundraising teams.
Expert knowledge of F2F Fundraising techniques and best practice.
Strong working knowledge of private site fundraising.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships, rapport with supporters and work within a team environment .
Managing field-based Team Leaders and F2F Fundraisers; Recruiting, inducting, training, developing, managing and monitoring performance.
A proven track record of target achievement and commitment to meeting targets and deadlines.

Main Purpose:
● Create and deliver a £300,000 income generation strategy by focussing on seeking new Corporate Partnerships, identifying grant applications, delivering fundraising events with Corporate Partners, the local community and increasing donors.

Main Responsibilities
