The role of Stewardship Officer within the Charity is key to helping patients, families and staff at our hospitals, by supporting the generous fundraisers and donors who raise money for the Charity.
The Stewardship Officer will work closely with other members of the hospital charity, in particular other Stewardship Officers and the Stewardship Manager, providing administrative and stewardship support to our donors and fundraisers and the Charity overall.
Working as part of a team, the post holder will have specific responsibility for accurate data inputting of donations onto our Raisers Edge database, Gift Aid claims, and correspondence with donors and fundraisers by letter, email, telephone and face-to-face.
The Stewardship Officer will be the first point of contact for many of our donors and fundraisers when they enquire about raising money for the Charity.
The Stewardship Officer will help them throughout their journey, providing fundraising materials, answering questions and receiving their fundraising amounts, often taking part in a photo opportunity within the hospital.
Whilst predominantly office based, the Stewardship Officer will have opportunities to support events put on by the Charity and its supporters, and will have the opportunity to learn about stewardship, fundraising and events.
This role would suit someone with experience of working in a customer facing environment.

About the role
This role is available at an important time for The Access Project as we expand on our mission to support many more young people on our programmes, moving into new regions and new schools and with new partners. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and experience in managing administration across a number of areas, with an ability to organise and prioritise and with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency in undertaking a range of key administrative tasks to support the team. The Sales & Partnerships Administrator plays a key role in ensuring that the sales and fundraising functions run smoothly and efficiently, with a focus on supporting across the team with key administrative duties.
Role responsibilities
Working across Sales and Fundraising, the administrator will be responsible for:
Maintenance of data, financial records and shared systems:
- Updating Salesforce for Sales & Fundraising including reporting through Salesforce
- Updating website and SharePoint sites, ensuring all data is up to date and relevant
- Supporting the delivery and responses to sales and fundraising enquiries, including automated and mass contacts (e.g. emails)
- Monitoring Payroll Giving and supporting with the administration of Individual Giving, including acknowledging /receipting donations
- Collating data for bids and reports and ensuring it is kept up to date/refreshed regularly
- Coordinating with Delivery Team to prepare case studies and maintaining these with uploads to Salesforce with updates as required
Undertaking research and preparing reports for sales and partnerships:
- Undertaking and reporting on research into sales and fundraising leads and events
- Supporting development of event and promotion collateral, including pitch decks
- Preparing drafts and data for partner reports
- Undertaking partner and funder due diligence
Supporting development of external communications and events:
- Developing newsletters
- Preparing partner updates and report, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports
- Supporting event preparation and where needed, attending events in person
Team support:
- Recording and uploading minutes and actions from Team Meetings
- Preparing action logs and reminders on actions
- Holding the team event, leave and absence calendars

The role
Reporting to the Events and Community Fundraising Manager, you will play a crucial role as part of the Fundraising Team by providing the highest levels of fundraising and event administration support to ensure the provision of seamless, excellent supporter care and assistance to our supporters.
Whilst this role is primarily providing administrative support for our fundraising and event activities, there will be opportunities to be involved with all other aspects of the charity.

Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
· Be the primary contact point with our supporters and fundraisers to provide excellent customer care

· Ensure all fundraising income (cash, cheques online platform donations) is processed and recorded correctly onto the Donorfy database, and thanked in a timely manner
· Record as necessary enquiries, correspondence and responses on Donorfy
· Be the primary point of contact for our challenge events and community fundraisers. Build excellent relationships with them and provide materials and support, liaising before, during and following their activity/event as needed
· To work with the team to provide support for key fundraising activities such as the London Marathon and other challenge events. · Monitor our general email inboxes and respond to all enquiries in a timely manner

Our mission is to supports adults, young people and children living with long-term neurological conditions and/or neuro diversities to access specialist therapies, support, and information in a safe, supportive environment to help them improve their physical and mental well-being.
The Merlin Neuro Therapy Centre, located in mid-Cornwall, is a Cornish charity providing a place of support, therapy, information, and community for people living with a long-term neurological condition and/or those who are neurodiverse. We give financial assistance to our beneficiaries in the form of subsidised specialist therapies. Our purpose built, fully accessible Centre, opened in 2009 and offers physiotherapy; exercise classes; Ayres’ Sensory Integration (ASI) therapy (a discipline of Occupational Therapy), and oxygen therapy. The Primrose Hydrotherapy Pool facility, which was built in the grounds, opened in 2019, providing both individual and group hydrotherapy sessions.
Living with a long-term health condition brings many challenges, not just for those diagnosed, but also for family members. Symptoms can affect physical, cognitive, emotional, and psychological health. For our clients who have sensory processing difficulties, due to being neurodivergent, everyday situations and relationships can be perplexing and taxing.
Our main aims are to improve the health and well-being of our community; help people manage their symptoms and situations; and support their main care giver, often a family member. Services are delivered by a highly experienced team, with a broad range of skills and experience in delivering specialist therapies.
The Role

Viewpoint develops innovative ways that support people with a lived experience of mental health issues and / or addiction challenges. Across Hertfordshire we work with over 800 experts by experience and put them at the centre of everything we do. We support people to be independent, have their say on the quality of services that they experienced and influence change to those services.
Our support is flexible and needs-led and is delivered through outreach groups, one to one interaction or remotely.
Staff or members who have a lived experience of mental illness and / or addiction facilitate our programmes.
We offer educational sessions that enhance wellbeing and equip individuals with the skills and self-belief to aid their recovery journey.
Our goals
Purpose of the post:

To support the chief executive to ensure that Viewpoint implements its agreed strategy within budget and operates as a model of best practice for user involvement.

To manage and supervise staff employed by Viewpoint.

To promote Viewpoint with both statutory and Voluntary Community Faith Social Enterprise (VCFSE) at a county level.
Principal Responsibilities:
Management
-
To provide operational management and leadership to achieve the aims and objectives of the Viewpoint strategy.

To ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are adhered to, developed and updated in compliance with relevant legislation.

To attend contract reviews and provide such monitoring information as required by the service contract.

To develop and maintain good working relationships with all relevant statutory, independent, and voluntary agencies.

To raise and promote the work of Viewpoint across the county and all relevant bodies.
Staff

Provide effective line management to all Viewpoint staff in accordance with agreed policies
Financial

To participate in the preparation and production of the Viewpoint Annual Report and Business Plan.

To ensure proper use of resources and working within agreed budgets.
Fund-raising
-
To contribute to the development of fund-raising activities to ensure the continuation and development of Viewpoint.
Representation
-
To negotiate appropriate user representation with service commissioners and providers.

To support user representation on County-wide forums.
General
-
To ensure relevant recording, monitoring and evaluation of project work is routinely carried out and in compliance with relevant legislation and the requirements of the service contract.

Maintain awareness of national and local initiatives and best practice regarding user involvement.

Undertake other duties, consistent with the level of the post, as required from time to time by the Chief Executive and Executive Committee.
Service Development and Delivery

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies and issues in relation to mental health and wellbeing.

Comply with all relevant Viewpoint policies, procedures and guidelines, including those relating to Equal Opportunities, Health and Safety and Confidentiality of Information, and to be aware of any changes in these.

Be aware of, teach others and challenge issues in relation to stigma, low expectations and anti-discriminatory practice as appropriate.

Complete entries in the appropriate records and performance database.

The Role
As a member of the Fundraising Team, the Database Officer will work within our Data Team to assist in the management and development of the fundraising database, championing it as an asset within the organisation and to promote data-driven decision making. They will use their broad range of technical skills to uphold the highest standards of data integrity whilst constantly looking to improve processes and deliver actionable insights. These insights will enable the fundraising teams to implement audience focused fundraising campaigns that deliver long-term sustainable income, as well as mutually beneficial relationships with our supporters.
We have achieved significant growth over the last five years, largely through individual giving, legacies, major gifts, and some in memoriam giving. We are keen to make a step change in our voluntary income. This is an exciting time of growth and opportunity at TVAA and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team. About the role
The main purpose of this role is to develop and deliver our approach to maintain and grow corporate fundraising income, to support our mission to improve mental health in Hampshire. You will join us at an exciting time, having just launched our new three-year strategy, and this role is pivotal in helping us achieve our strategic ambitions in the years ahead.
The role is to lead the corporate fundraising activities for Solent Mind, which have grown significantly over the last five years. This will include maximising support through Charity of the Year relationships and participation in activities, events and challenges in aid of Solent Mind, and by securing one-off gifts in support of Solent Mind. You will research and build our corporate pipeline and support the delivery of our wider employer engagement which covers all aspects of employment engagement including fundraising, training and mental health employer service.
This role is within Solent Mind’s fundraising and external engagement team, and the successful candidate will manage and be supported by the Corporate Fundraising Officer.
About you
You will be an experienced corporate fundraiser or have relevant relationship fundraising or B2B sales experience, together with a proven track record in meeting and exceeding financial and other targets. You will be an effective communicator with excellent written and presentation skills. You should possess good negotiating and influencing skills, as well as excellent relationship management skills, and be highly pro-active and skilled in generating new business leads and moving warm prospects through the ‘sales’ cycle.
You will demonstrate the ability to motivate and develop your direct reports and will ideally have experience supervising both staff and volunteers.

The Regional Business Development Manager ensures WaterAid is well positioned within donor and consortium partner/key supplier markets as a “go to” partner for sustainable WASH programming. This position plays a key internal role, through monitoring, shaping and highlighting the country funding needs to WaterAid federation members and facilitating funding flows to countries.
Key accountabilities among others include:
Strategy
- Support country programmes in developing fundraising, donor and consortium partner strategies from a deep understanding of how to position WA’s programmes within the current donor marketplace
Pipeline development and management:
- Be responsible for growing and monitoring the pipeline of relevant funding opportunities to WA country programmes, coordinating with fundraising members to communicating donor intelligence, ensuring a balanced portfolio of funding types and ambition.
- Provide strategic support to the sign on of larger funding opportunities, ensuring that WA country teams are supported to negotiate favourable positions within consortia and are able to effectively assess and mitigate for delivery risk
- Support the improvement of cost recovery in restricted funding contracts through supporting country teams to communicate and negotiate with donors
Funding skills and capabilities development:
- Monitor the fundraising skills, capabilities and investment levels within country teams, and support the development of both funding focused roles and the capability of country Senior Management Teams to engage with donors and develop funding propositions
- Play a leading role in co-creating and embedding business processes, systems, and policies for restricted funding
- Build confidence in pursuing different funding modalities, including commercial contracts through accompanying country teams in the development of complex and novel bidding approaches (with the support of global teams and consultants)
Leadership and Line management
- Responsible for working with a high-performing team of Country Funding Leads and Donor Relationship Leads across the globe. The Regional Business Development Manager will contribute to strategic and operational planning processes; define and deliver an agreed set of team performance targets; and providing guidance, coaching and support in helping peers achieve optimum performance.
- Responsible for the matrix management of the Heads of Funding and Business Development at the country level.
- Lead on promotion of the cross country and regional learning and best practices on business development and bid development and management.
To be successful, you will need the following:
- Master’s Degree level qualification in international development, economics or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Approximately 10 years of experience in planning, securing and managing funds from institutional donors such as USAID, EC, UK Government, International Financial Institutions such as the WB, AfDB, local and international corporates, trust and foundations such as Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation etc.
- Substantial experience and knowledge of the institutional funding space and a deep understanding of bilateral and multilateral donors’ routes to market
- Demonstrable track record of developing and delivering on strategies for restricted income growth.
- Strategic networker with the ability to identify and transform opportunities into tangible results
- Ability to work in a flexible and agile way to identify opportunities and address challenges
- Ability to take complex information and simplify for audiences
- Being bilingual will be an asset

The role
We have a vacancy for a Regional Administrator working 33 hours per week. You would be joining a dedicated and friendly team of regional staff and volunteers. The ability to work autonomously as well as being a good team player is essential.

Reporting directly to the Senior Events Manager this role will work to grow the income generation and profile of the charity through effective administration, supporter engagement and marketing of the events calendar, ensuring maximum participation and income is achieved. This role will allow you to use your creativity to proactively seek new income generation opportunities through event management. You will be a highly organised and motivated individual with excellent time management and written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a portfolio of events with proven success of reaching and exceeding participant and income targets. You should also have knowledge and experience of working with a range of external suppliers and volunteers and have a proven ability to build relationships at all levels. Experience of using CRMs systems is also advantageous.
