Role Profile
You’ll work in a multifunctional, three person project team alongside a Digital Strategy Manager and Digital Creative Expert. The three of you will cover everything needed to execute your projects, coordinating with our technology team and working with external design capacity to deliver outstanding results for your partners, and renew and grow your partnerships.
The teams are designed to be flexible and nimble, chopping and changing who does what to best meet the needs of the project and the capacity of each team member. However, each role has a set of primary areas of expertise which you’ll typically be in charge of on most projects. As the team’s expert in those areas, it’s your responsibility to make sure your team does them to an exceptional standard, whether you’re delivering them yourself or supporting a team member to cover them on a given project.
As a Digital Strategy Expert, your primary areas of expertise are all things strategy, project management and delivery. Your key role in the team is to make sure the execution of our projects is smooth, efficient and high quality, whether that’s through smart strategic planning, tight project management or insightful data analysis. As well as taking ads management and email and page builds on some projects, you’ll also be called on to support the DCE with copywriting and potentially the DSM with proposal writing.

Abilities and experience you’ll need to have

1.5+ years’ experience working in digital campaigning or digital fundraising, with proven experience of delivering results against goals

Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience of managing multiple stakeholders and building strong working relationships across functions

Being comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Experience of using digital tools to build and send mass emails, comfort with managing lists

Excellent organisation and attention-to-detail with ability to juggle multiple priorities and keep to tight deadlines

Benefits and location
Salary: £34,162 if you live inside London, £30,502 (plus £3,000 travel expense allowance) if you live outside London. Under our Employee Ownership Trust model, all team members will also receive an equal share of the profits each year. The amount will depend on how much profit is made.
Contract Term: This is a permanent, full time contract.
Hours: We work a 30-hour 4-day week, from Monday to Thursday. Please note - as this is a full time role, you are not permitted to undertake any additional regular paid work on the Friday.
Location: You can work remotely from anywhere in the UK or use our office in London Fields, East London. You will need to be able to come to London once or twice a month for in-person meetings, otherwise most of our meetings are held via video conferencing and all our workflow is built to be remote-first.

We need an events manager who is adept at managing projects and events, working with our fundraisers and encouraging our supporters to get involved in our events such as our annual trek, the prestigious Care Sector Ball, and all the other events we’re involved in. The right person will have the confidence and persistence it takes to persuade, cajole, prod and encourage fundraisers to do as much as they can to raise funds for us. You need to be proficient at managing the admin that goes with events, including using fundraising platforms such as Just Giving and Enthuse to engage with fundraisers and provide regular reports on the income raised. We will also need you to organize hotel, travel, conference arrangements for the team.
You must be based in England, to help us keep travel costs down as much as possible. The role is home based, with travel to fundraising events, conferences and network meetings, and with travel every 10 weeks or so to central London for team meetings.
You must be a determined self-reliant professional though also a team player, to effectively coordinate and execute events and other activities, and be passionate about events management and fundraising to enable us to raise as much money as possible for the charity.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individuals to join our fundraising team as a Supporter Engagement Officer. About the role:

We're looking for a temporary Face-to-Face (F2F) Manager in the North and East region. This is a fantastic opportunity within the RNLI to play a vital role in developing and growing the RNLI in-house F2F Fundraising team.
This role will be required to manage a team of face-to-face fundraisers who will sign up regular supporters within a defined geographical area and raise vital long-term funding for the charity. This will include opportunities to work alongside other specialist teams including our volunteer lifeboat crews and lifeguards, playing an integral part in reaching both local and team income targets and contributing towards the wider objectives of the RNLI.

Your role
As a F2F Manager you will:
- Recruit, train and performance manage a team of motivated F2F Fundraisers.
- Manage and develop a portfolio of fundraising locations in Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Cleveland and Yorkshire areas.
- Measure performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) i.e. targets and budget.

About you
Working at the frontline of our fundraising activities, you’ll have excellent communication skills, people management capabilities, proven track record of working to targets and a passion to manage a team who engage with the beach-going public and event visitors to get their commitment for regular support for the cause.
You’ll be an effective team player with a pragmatic and solution focussed approach to problem solving and a calm approach to a busy workload. You’ll be positive, confident, determined, resilient, with very strong communication skills and naturally outgoing.
You’ll be a self-starter who can lead an energetic and innovative team to success. Able to adhere to codes of conduct, policies and be Fundraising Regulator compliant in all that you do and deliver. You’ll be flexible and prepared to work out of office hours with considerable travel throughout the year, peaking through the summer months. Substantial annual leave during the summer would not be practical for this role.
To be considered as the F2F Manager (North East), you will need:
- Proven experience and success in face-to-face fundraising. This will either have been gained working for a charity or a fundraising agency.
- Evidence of managing and motivating a team of paid staff or volunteers to achieve goals/targets.

Reporting to the Head of Communications, this role will support the delivery of a new paid & organic digital marketing strategy, working closely & collaboratively with both the Comms & Fundraising Teams, as well as co-lead on the delivery of a new website.
Through this role, we will ensure that all our existing supporters are actively communicated with and that we are regularly engaging with a range of new supporters through a unique & tailored approach.
What you will do as part of our team
Marketing:

Work with all internal stakeholders to develop digital marketing campaigns across paid, earned and owned channels delivering against KPI’s for income, campaigning and brand awareness.

Co-manage delivery of multiple/ congruent campaigns, appeals & events to attract & engage new supporters - often working alongside key members of other teams including fundraising, operations and advocacy teams.

The Role:

The Role
FareShare has a dynamic fundraising department that has seen incredible growth in support in an incredibly short space of time. We are now looking for a proven Supporter Retention Manager to join us as we embark on our next phase of deepening engagement with current and new supporters.
This newly created role is an integral part of the Fundraising team’s growth plans to become a £40 million income generating team.
Working closely with the Supporter Acquisition Manager, Supporter Experience Manager (Fundraising Operations) and the wider Fundraising team, the post-holder will lead on stewardship campaigns encompassing Warm Appeals, Regular Giving asks, Supporter newsletters and cross-sell campaigns across FareShare’s audiences.
