Tearfund is looking for a Legacy Stewardship Officer to support our Legacy and In Memory marketing to increase the awareness amongst our audience about leaving a legacy to Tearfund.

The central purpose of the Legacy Team is to raise awareness of the opportunity to leave a gift in your will to Tearfund, stewarding with care and excellence those who have chosen to do so and to acquire more legacy pledgers for this growing income stream. 

You will have strong administration skills, with a natural ability to communicate effectively with supporters to ensure all legacy-supporter records are accurately maintained and updated. 

We are looking for a candidate who:

About the Role

A core strand of the charity’s offering works to help adults build the skills, knowledge, confidence and behaviours to manage their money well. We do this by delivering Financial Wellbeing Workshops, Webinars, Specialist Programmes, Consultancy projects and through distribution of our Money Manual. Responsibilities

In this role you will have 6 key responsibilities:

Financial: Managing a portfolio of high-value relationships and to deliver income at the agreed annual target in the first year with an expectation this will rise year on year.

Management:  You will be one of the first points of contact internally for trusts/foundations and individual major donors (IMD) related queries and will work in accordance with the major giving team strategic plan and existing procedures, practices and standards.

Relationship:You will seek to actively develop and manage excellent relationships with an agreed portfolio of trusts/foundations and IMD capable of donating a minimum of £25,000 or more as a single gift each year. In addition you will need to:

• Develop and implement professionally written action plans which will engage, inform and nurture prospects and donors to deliver gifts at the agreed level.
• Undertake timely administration to capture and record knowledge of supporters within the customer relationship management database. Work with the organisation’s systems team to utilise this information to enhance applications and giving levels
• Pro-actively develop relationships with key stakeholders within the MAF organisation(s)
• Present MAF proposals alone or with others, (member of the operational field team, CEO etc), to prospects and donors.
• Participate in events to develop relationships with donors, inviting individuals from portfolios where appropriate and co-ordinate visits to MAF overseas operations where appropriate to introduce these donors directly to the work of MAF.  

Information: Information management and analytical thinking is essential as you will present detailed, accurate and high-quality fundraising proposals to prospects and donors, ensuring any specific deadlines or funding windows are complied with.   In addition you will need to:

• Ensure that donors are thanked appropriately for their gifts with timely and appropriate reports, letters and phone call.
• Provide timely ‘report backs’ that are appropriate/agreed with each donor, to evidence effective use of funding and to encourage the opportunity to make further applications based on good stewardship and achievement of agreed outcomes.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge, and the funding priority, of projects available for funding by trusts/foundations supporters and prospects.
• Actively seeking to grow the trusts/foundations portfolio and income through the use of research
• Attending regular appropriate training courses, external forums and networks to ensure continuous personal development 

Major Donor team (practice/ procedures/training):As a key member of the team you will need to ensure procedures and standards are developed/maintained to ensure we are effective and compliant with any legislation/regulation.

CRM Database: To provide support to the Partnership Executive, who will be the team’s CRM database lead and maintain a thorough working understanding of MAF UK’s CRM system in order to answer specific team queries.  You will need to support the teams day-to-day CRM activities including producing reports, importing data, adding activities, amending details and any other relevant tasks

AMMF is the UK’s only charity solely dedicated to raising awareness of and funding research into cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer). The charity works closely throughout the UK with clinicians, healthcare professionals, researchers, policy makers, patients and their carers, as well as actively collaborating across Europe and globally.

The role of the Executive Administrator is to manage an administrative workload. The right person will have previous experience of efficient office administration, be able to provide secretarial and administrative support, and to work both independently and as part of a team, and will report directly to the CEO.

It is expected the Executive Administrator will develop an understanding of AMMF’s aims and objectives and its policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Secretarial and administrative support: Dealing with correspondence in close collaboration with the CEO; preparation and distribution of papers for board meetings, minute taking and drafting.
• Managing AMMF’s network of clinical nurse specialists, including sending the charity’s booklets and information to them on request. 
• Developing and maintaining up-to-date appropriate inventories and records covering equipment leases, maintenance schedules, equipment allocations, suppliers, etc.
• Diary management and meeting organisation, internal and external, including booking meeting rooms.
• Keeping all records appropriately and in accordance with GDPR.
• Financial - supporting the CEO in the preparation of monthly/annual financial planning, and with other financial matters, as required
• Assisting in and attending the organisation of AMMF’s annual conference, and other events.
• Attending external AMMF networking, partner and fundraising events when required.
• Carrying out projects and/or tasks as required by the CEO.

Skills and attributes required

• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, with high standards of accuracy and clarity in written work.
• Highly IT literate, experienced and competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, etc) and with Zoom and other online meeting platforms.
• Excellent secretarial and administrative skills, including previous experience taking and drafting minutes.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to take initiative when necessary.
• Able to be flexible, to adapt to shifting priorities, and to prioritise.
•  Able to manage own workload to deadlines and achieve objectives set.
• Willingness to be proactive and, where necessary, lead on administrative and office matters.
• Able to handle confidential information and data protection issues     

Other requirements:

• To be sensitive to the areas of work AMMF is involved in.
• Previous experience of working within the charity sector.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Willing and able to work outside usual office hours to support AMMF and attend external events where, when and if required.
• Hold a current driving licence and have access to /use of a vehicle (useful not essential).
• Possess or achieve a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

We are looking for a new Office Manager to organise and coordinate administration duties and office procedures in the charity. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety. You will be experienced with a variety of office software (such as email tools, spreadsheets and databases) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties.

As the central point of contact for everyone within our charity you will have an overview of many different things, an impeccable working knowledge of the charity and its aims, and will “pitch in” wherever necessary to ensure the charity operates smoothly.

This position is a permanent full time post (40 hours per week) which will be office based in Holderness House, 51-61 Clifton Street, London EC2A 4DW.  The starting salary for the post will be £37,129.00 per annum.

Essential Skills

§  Line management of key administrative staff.

§  Management the office budget, including processing invoices.

§  Upkeep of the charities’ customer relationship management (CRM) system; providing support to users and troubleshooting issues.

§  Act as the lead manager for ensuring compliance with data protection principles, policy and legislation.

§  Training users of the CRM.

§  Serving as a point of contact for internal and external communications, including general enquiries, phone calls, emails, and correspondence.

§  Coordination of administrative support to other departments, such as managing fundraising supplies and posting them to supporters.

The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools. You should be comfortable working with financial systems and software, with the ability to efficiently manage data, generate reports, and ensure accurate income tracking.

The Stories Officer sits in the Marketing and Communications team and will focus on:

· Assist in managing storytelling requests from across RNID, providing vital support and crafting impactful and compelling narratives.

· You’ll be gathering and shaping powerful authentic stories that highlight the impact of RNID’s work, supporting RNID’s strategic goals.

· When you join us, you’ll dive straight into important campaigns like our Protect Your Hearing Campaign, helping to craft meaningful stories. As Stories Officer, you will:

· Work closely with the Stories & Celebrity Manager, identify, interview, and write-up case study stories from people who are deaf, have hearing loss, or tinnitus to support RNID’s campaigns, media, and fundraising efforts.

· Manage and update our centralised database of case studies, celebrities, and influencers, ensuring all stories across the charity are recorded for effective stewardship. Maintain storyteller profiles, contact details, permissions, and consent forms while ensuring GDPR compliance in data collection and storage.

· Collaborate with PR, fundraising, digital, and campaigning teams to integrate storytelling into their work, identify their needs, and match case studies or celebrities to relevant projects.

· Support the development and delivery of storytelling content across multiple platforms, including social media, website, press, and marketing materials, ensuring content meets accessibility standards.

· Manage multiple internal and external storyteller requests.

We are looking for an individual with a passion for storytelling and a deep commitment to amplifying the voices of people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus.

You will have excellent writing skills, with experience in journalism, PR, or a similar field, and a strong ability to craft compelling narratives that engage and inspire. Your interviewing skills will be key, as you’ll need to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident sharing their stories.

Sensitivity and empathy will be essential as you capture authentic, impactful stories. In addition, you’ll be an exceptional multitasker, able to manage multiple storytelling requests and competing priorities with ease. Your proactive and creative approach will drive you to consistently find new ways to tell powerful stories that align with the charity’s mission and strategic goals.
