Trusts and Grants Fundraising - Tasks and Responsibilities
- Research and identify new trust and foundation prospects.

Events Support
- Help coordinate logistics and communications for fundraising events.

- Support with ticketing, invoicing, and donor follow-up.

The Role
Fundraising and Impact Coordinator
o Assist in the planning and execution of a diverse range of fundraising applications, events and community initiatives
o Support the management of event logistics, including participant communication, volunteer coordination, and on-the-day activities
o Collaborate with external partners and suppliers to ensure smooth event operations and build strong relationships for future collaboration
o Lead outreach efforts to engage new community partners, such as businesses, promoting fundraising opportunities and supporting their initiatives.
o Lead on generating income through diverse means
o To represent the charity in all spaces - implementing a rolling 12-month plan of meaningful touchpoints to deepen relationships
o Develop and implement a plan to encourage increased giving and recruit new regular donors with personalised cultivation and stewardship
o Serve as the primary point of contact for funders, donors and friends of Hopscotch Women’s Centre, ensuring they receive the information and support needed to maximise their fundraising potential
o Provide timely and effective follow-up communications with stakeholders, ensuring they feel valued and engaged
o Maintaining our CRM database, ensuring accurate records to track communications and data, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection laws.
o Work closely with Finance colleagues to process donations, Gift Aid and matched funding claims, ensuring this income is processed and recorded accurately
o Manage the distribution of supporter resources, conduct stock checks for fundraising materials and ensure an organised work environment for all fundraising assets
o Create engaging materials (posters, leaflets, stories etc), working closely with our social media lead on content
o Produce impact reports and collate information for reporting to funders and to support fundraising initiatives and grant applications

BACKGROUND INFORMATION AND PURPOSE OF THE POST
As part of our ambitious plans to significantly increase private fundraising, we aim to achieve a step-change in our income from partnerships and philanthropy.
As Major Giving Officer, you will:
- Collaborate with the Global Specialist in Major Giving (based in the UK) on the delivery and implementation of an ambitious major-giving programme for HI UK, encompassing trusts & foundations, major donors and corporates, in line with UK and Federation priorities.
- Research and identify opportunities, write proposals and secure five- and six-figure major gifts from a diverse and sustainable base of major givers from the these income streams.
- Provide excellent cultivation of prospects to produce committed, long-term donors.
- Manage existing partnerships and donors to a high standard.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General
- Work closely with the Global Specialist in Major Giving and the other Major Giving Officer to further develop major giving as a sustainable income stream in the UK, including launching and running a Capital Campaign.
- Manage data relevant to your role, keeping our database (CRM) up to date and accurate, and mining it for new prospects.
- Build your knowledge of the wide range of our work – both thematically and geographically – so you can communicate and present with expertise to donors and prospects.
- Attend relevant networking groups, external events and meetings to make contacts and represent HI UK.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of high-quality cultivation events for prospects and donors.
- Any other activities commensurate with the level of the post, as may be required.
Trusts, foundations and high net-worth individuals
- Update existing research and carry out new research to find our top trust, foundation and high net-worth individual prospects, prioritising six-figure and multi-year donors.
- Connect directly with targeted prospects through networks, introductions and events.
- Build relationships with prospects through personalised communications: face to face, on the phone and written.
- Deliver excellent relationship-management to existing partners and donors to ensure loyalty and year-on-year renewal.
- Produce high-quality and engaging proposals and presentations for meetings with prospects and donors.
- Write and submit approximately two high-quality proposals per month for five- or six-figure sums (multi-year donations preferable) from targeted trusts and foundations.
- Source information about each project’s impact and write and submit regular reports according to the agreement with each partner organisation or individual.
- Ethically screen our prospects, in line with our ethical standards and processes.
- Liaise with the Federal fundraising team in Lyon for project content.
Other duties
- Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with HI UK colleagues, the Federal fundraising and communication teams, and Major Giving counterparts in other HI national associations in Europe and North America.
- Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and high standards.
- Keep up to date and adhere to any changes in legislation, regulatory procedures, innovation, best practice and industry standards in relation to private fundraising.
- Any other activities commensurate with the level of the post, as may be required by the Global Specialist in Major Giving.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Halton Haven Hospice as one of our Fundraising Managers, leading our fundraising team to achieve ambitious targets through a diverse portfolio of income streams.
We are looking for an experienced fundraiser who can develop and grow our income streams, including running successful events and campaigns, building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners and working closely with our community supporters and organisations. You will jointly manage our fundraising team and support them to deliver targets, provide excellent stewardship and raise awareness of our work in the local community.
Demonstrable experience of event management and working with budgets and financial targets is essential, as is the ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Previous experience of leading a team and managing volunteers would be desirable but not essential, however you must have a positive attitude, be highly motivated, enthusiastic, and friendly.

Job Summary
This role will be responsible for leading & managing fundraising data, and strategic oversight of fundraising data systems and processes, managing a team to employ process efficiencies and improve data quality ensuring seamless integration between CRM systems and external platforms to drive income generation across the full spectrum of the donor data landscape and deliver fundraising operations. You’ll also lead on behalf of fundraising on CRM development and enhancement requests to support data-driven fundraising decisions and strategies.
About You
- Extensive experience working across CRM platforms (including D365 Mission CRM or similar), managing system selections, and leading CRM enhancement projects.
- Skilled in data analytics, building reporting frameworks, and using database languages like SQL, along with managing data imports and Direct Debit processes.
- Proven ability to automate processes while ensuring compliance with GDPR and data security best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership and change management experience with a collaborative approach, influencing senior leaders in complex organisations.
- Competent in Microsoft applications, including Dynamics and the MS Office suite, with the ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to organisational values and attention to detail.

About Us
Amaze is a Sussex-based charity that supports families with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Amaze’s fundraising is growing. We used to fundraise mainly through trusts and foundations. We still receive a large portion of our income from statutory funders (such as councils and the NHS). In the last 18 months we have begun work to increase our income from other sources. We are launching a big and exciting art-based fundraising project that will take place in autumn 2026. In this project we will work closely with artists, businesses, schools and members of the public. We are looking for a fundraiser to help us deliver the project, working within and alongside our fundraising and marketing team.
About the job
As our Community and Events Fundraiser, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks. You will help plan fundraising events, organise our presence at community activities, and support our wonderful volunteers. A big part of your job will be building strong relationships with schools and community groups, encouraging them to get involved and supporting them in their fundraising efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for organising events, liaising with schools, youth groups and artists, supporting volunteers and supporting community fundraisers. You will be within the Fundraising and Marketing team at Amaze, which currently has 4 members of staff, led by the Head of Fundraising and Marketing. You will be a mix of office and home-based, with some days at events and activities within Brighton & Hove.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.
Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now looking to build a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to diversify income, grow their philanthropy programme and increase engagement and impact.
Reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, this is a strategic and hands-on leadership role that will shape how the charity uses data, research and insight to drive significant growth in income from major donors, corporate partners and other high-value supporters. You will lead the Prospect Research function, developing and delivering a proactive, insight-led prospect research strategy to support the charity’s ambitious fundraising goals, as well as working to identify potential major donors amongst individuals, trusts and corporates.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in prospect research including identifying and prioritising prospects, network mapping, ethical screening and developing gift capacity ratings. You will be a proactive, strategic thinker with a collaborative outlook and a high attention to detail. You will also possess excellent analytical and communication skills. Experience in setting up or significantly developing a prospect research function would be an advantage.

About the role:
As the Head of Philanthropy you will lead and inspire a team dedicated to generating and growing income from high-value donors, corporate organisations, and charitable trusts and foundations.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the Philanthropy Plan in line with the Organisational and Fundraising Strategy to maintain and grow sustainable income from major donors, corporate partnerships and trusts and foundations
