Beyond the Streets is a UK charity with over 20 years’ experience of partnering with women in the sex industry, to see them safe from coercion, violence and abuse. We deliver trauma-informed, person-centred support, provide training, and create resources and reports informed by research, lived experience, and practitioner experience.

Our ‘Direct Work’ is central to the organisation, and we are looking to recruit a new Women’s Support Worker. Taking a woman-centred approach, your role is to provide phone-based holistic support for women with complex needs who want support or to exit the sex industry. We are looking for someone with energy, motivation and experience of working with vulnerable adults; someone who a highly developed sense of self-awareness who can work in a gender and trauma informed way.

This role will be part of a small team of support workers, and a service manager, who deliver a call and email-based case work system. You will have frontline experience of working with individuals who experience multiple disadvantage. This might be in the VAWG sector, domestic abuse, substance misuse, mental health or counselling or direct experience of women in the sex industry. You will have a good understanding of working with vulnerable people and be aware of the need and processes around Safeguarding adults and children.

Job Purpose:

To support the delivery of WIPs housing programme in Manchester and Trafford, with a focus on women coming into contact with the police and women being released back into the community following a period on remand, providing trauma-informed specialist support to improve housing outcomes for women affected by the criminal justice system.

1. To deliver an effective housing intervention for women impacted by the criminal justice system.

Project Lead

Free To Fly is a registered charity supporting expectant mothers to leave abusive relationships and protect their unborn babies. Following successful fundraising and network-building in Portsmouth, they have appointed Charisma to support the recruitment of a Project Lead, to lead and launch their Portsmouth project.

As their first paid employee, the Project Lead, reporting to the Board of Trustees, will lead the day to day operational, strategic and business functions of the charity. About the Role​​

Based in the UK, this role will play a central role in managing and supporting the recruitment and onboarding of multiple project delivery roles across various countries, while also offering HR support to an ambitious FCDO-funded global safeguarding programme. Main responsibilities​​

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in recruitment coordination and/or HR roles, ideally within international development or humanitarian programmes.

• Proven experience managing multi-country recruitment processes, including coordination with partner organisations and remote teams.

•Proficiency in using recruitment platforms (e.g. LinkedIn, Devex, ReliefWeb) and applicant tracking systems (ATS). 

•Excellent project management and diary coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across time zones.

Hertfordshire Mind Network’s (HMN) Complex Needs and Community Services have rapidly expanded. The Mental Health Administrator will be a key member of the Complex Needs and Community services, providing effective administrative support to the team, ensuring accurate and effective policies, communication and procedures are in place.

• To be the first point of contact for HMN callers via telephone, email and in person – providing high quality service to every person

We’re looking for a Corporate Services Administrator to play a key role in supporting our Corporate Services work. You will be someone who is able to maintain order, craft professional materials, and build positive relationships with colleagues and business partners alike.

Working closely with the Head of Business Development, you’ll ensure the smooth running of our corporate services by managing administrative processes, coordinating training events, and supporting partner engagement. From handling enquiries and maintaining records, to preparing proposals and scheduling meetings, you’ll be at the organisational heart of our corporate facing work.

This role also offers room for creativity: you’ll assist in producing clear, attractive marketing materials, contribute to social media content, and help Lifecentre present a professional, values-led brand to our corporate audiences.
