About the FCDO Centre of Expertise: The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) in partnership with Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) has established a Centre of Expertise (CoE) to serve as an authoritative source of expertise, insightful informational resources, analysis, evidence, and advice on “what works” to support democratic governance around the world.
Programme Manager - Centre of Expertise
The Programme Manager will work under the guidance of the Head of the Centre of Expertise to support the delivery of Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD’s) role in the Centre of Expertise, leading on the procurement, contracting, monitoring and management of WFD Experts.
They will play an important and vital role within the team responsible for directly responding to requests from the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) posts for expertise in democratic governance and for managing the deployment of experts where in-country visits are part of the terms of reference.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will be an experienced Programme Manager with the following skills and experience.
Strong Programme Management experience and skills: At least five years’ proven track record in programme management, or in procurement or contracts administration with a background ideally in the international development sector.
- Previous experience working with the FCDO or on an FCDO-funded programme.
- Confidence in drafting and negotiating contracts.
- Good understanding of business processes including the outsource of procured services.
- Experience of implementing or strengthening processes to improve efficiency.
- Experience of and strong abilities in financial administration.
- Experience of working and supporting teams working remotely and cross-collaboration between multiple departments.

The Global Governance & Compliance Manager will lead arrangements for governance and coordinate corporate and legal compliance across the organisation. The role
The Governance Officer liaises with external partners and supports the Director-General to ensure governance activities align with the Foundation’s strategic goals. About the Team
This role sits within the Business Enablement team within Shelter’s Technology & Data (T&D) Department, which is made up of 30+ people based across the country with bases in London, Sheffield, and Edinburgh.
The T&D Department is accountable for developing and leading Shelter’s technology and data strategic priorities, providing a secure infrastructure, management of data and insight to underpin strategic outcomes, delivery of technology change projects, data governance and the provision of support for a range of software, systems, and platform tools.

This role is responsible for a portfolio of digital products that enable our communications and fundraising teams to reach current and future supporters. WaterAid is seeking a Digital Product Manager to act as the product owner for our Drupal websites, working with colleagues and external suppliers to deliver our Global Strategy through a range of digital activities such as fundraising, advocacy and mass participation.
You will work with colleagues from across our global organisation to understand user needs and balance organisational priorities, refining these into a roadmap for maintaining and improving our Drupal websites and related digital infrastructure like microsites, SaaS solutions and third-party integrations. A typical working week might include providing technical expertise to colleagues planning a fundraising campaign, meeting with an external agency to optimise supporter experience on the website's donation form or speaking to a colleague in one of our member countries to help them roll out the latest features to their local website.

- Manage relationships with third-party digital partners and brief in new projects or requests.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join the RGHI team as an Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the operational functions of RGHI to support the efficient and effective delivery of its research funding initiatives.
Responsibilities:
· Work alongside the RGHI team to support operational efficiency of the organisation across a range of delivery areas including grant making, financial management and governance.

· Previous experience in operations focused roles, preferably within a research funding organisation or academic institution.
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.

Age UK is recruiting for a Data Privacy Manager to join our Information Protection and Compliance team to continue our great work to develop and manage the Age UK data protection privacy programme and to work on programmes of activity as defined by the ICO.
As Data Privacy Manager, you will review, update, and monitor the policies and procedures that are in place to ensure compliance with the Data Protection Regulation 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Regulation (PECR, 2003) laws, including managing internal data protection activities, advising on data protection impact assessments (DPIAs), training staff, and conducting internal audits.
This role focuses on providing data protection advice to Age UK's various business units promoting a "privacy first" approach to design and development of products and services that involve the use of personal data and your primary aim will be to recommend and oversee measures to address any identified gaps in data protection and security.
The successful candidate will use their experience in data governance to undertake regular due diligence on the key elements of the Age UK data privacy framework, identifying and reporting any areas of practice and procedure that that require focus and remedy to ensure that there is no weakness across the charity and our commercial partners.
This role is offered on a Hybrid / London contract and currently the team meet in our London office once a week.
Must haves:
* Experience of working in a data governance role with responsibility for personal data used in a database marketing environment for a charitable /commercial/financial services industry.
* Experience of communicating with stakeholders at all levels. A willingness to deal with problems or new tasks together with a proven track record of bringing business stakeholders onside.
* Experience in managing and responding to data protection rights requests (SARs) and complaints.
* Able to liaise effectively with both the CRM data practitioners, Marketing and Legal teams as well as operational business partners.
* Experience in reviewing data sharing agreements and data protection clauses in contracts
* A strong understanding of the principles of Privacy by Design and Default
* Excellent knowledge of UK privacy Law and regulations and the ability to transfer that knowledge appropriately.
* Strong communications skills with the confidence to build and manage relationships with senior staff and external suppliers.
* Effective time management, with the ability to multi-task.
