Role Purpose

You will be responsible for building and maintaining partnerships with hyperlocal, local, and national businesses, stewarding the organisations to become Mustard Tree’s partners, and for us to be their ‘Charity of the Year’, donating to and fundraising for the charity.

You will manage an existing caseload of these valued partners, with the opportunity to proactively create new relationships and partnerships, contacting through multiple channels, creating content, and hosting, touring, and presenting to businesses.

In addition to corporate partnerships, you will manage the recruitment and stewardship of Mustard Tree’s events fundraisers, being responsible for the administration, making sure all places are filled, planning the events, and helping all participants hit their fundraising targets.

Main Duties

Corporate Partnership

• Steward a cohort of existing Corporate Partners through email updates, calls, social media activity and booking monthly check-ins, as well as sharing infographics, case studies, events information, and newsletters when useful.
• Proactively build new relationships, ultimately securing new donors, partners, and ‘Charity of the Year’ organisations. Make it clear and easy for donors to understand what we do, how they can help, and the impact they will have.
• Host, tour, or present at a minimum of four organisations per week.
• Manage inquiries, emails, and queries relating to partnerships, corporate donations, volunteering, and events, ensuring timely responses.
• Manage the partnership inbox and work with the Fundraising team on our corporate bookings calendar.
• Work with the Fundraising and Volunteer Coordinator to plan and book Social Value Days for partners and prospective partners.
• Collaborate with the Fundraising and Communications team to develop and publish copy, advertisements, social media content, and create WordPress pages relevant to Corporate Partnership and Events.
• Host Corporate Partners for their volunteering inductions and debriefs and follow up with a thank-you email the same week.
• Manage data entry and administration surrounding partnerships, including communication, contacts, setting targets, and funds raised, through software and our CRM, for example.
• Work with the Fundraising Manager to assign new and existing partners
• Provide weekly updates on targets and expected income, and work to provide accurate forecasting.

Events Fundraising

• Manage our existing events portfolio of The Great Manchester Run, Tough Mudder, Trafford Abseil, October Half Marathon, being responsible for their success.
• Investigate and develop new events to complement our 12-month calendar.
• Empower organisations to plan independent fundraising events and create a fundraising toolkit to support this.
• Support the running of our October Fundraising Dinner
• Work with the Fundraising Manager to project events income and build a 12-month fundraising pipeline.

General Duties

• Supporting the Fundraising Team et al, including administration, cover, and events attendance when required.
• Support the Fundraising & Finance Teams with data entry, CRM updates, and the creation of KPI data when required.
• Work within health & safety guidelines and Mustard Tree policies and procedures.
• Support other staff and departments, occasionally providing practical relief cover for work-streams, operational areas, classes and clubs.
•  Take responsibility for professional development, attending training courses as required.
• Lead by example, embodying Mustard Tree values and representing the charity as required.
• Contribute towards being an environmentally responsible organisation as part of day-to-day activities, including recycling and supporting our ‘paper-light’ practices.

Essential:

• Experience in fundraising, sales and/or account management.

About the role

The main focus of the advice centre will be academic advice and appeals but it may need to adapt to the changing needs of students and will likely involve working with individuals who have complex situations who require support to navigate what steps to take. 

Advice and Support

• To provide specialist advice and information directly to students via physical and digital mediums as appropriate on academic matters
• To support students when referring them to appropriate internal & external agencies

About the role:

As a Victim Care Advisor (IVA), you will provide advocacy and support to those affected by the impact of crime.

You will work with people who have experienced or witnessed crime and you will be the single point of contact for them.

You will work with other agencies to provide a service that supports the individual through the criminal justice system, or works with them whether they decide to report the crime or not.

As an IVA, you will;

• Receive incoming referrals from a range of sources including the police, other agencies and individuals themselves
• Assess needs and risks, and agree action plans
• Work on case management systems to update case notes, manage and record information
• Give up to date and consistent information about the criminal justice system process
• Liaise with other agencies where required to provide advocacy for the service user, work in a multi-agency set up, give and receive information with consent
• Support the person and their wider family
• Work with criminal justice system agencies to ensure a trauma informed and victim friendly response
• Promote the service at events and meetings where directed or required
• Ensure that you are aware of and up to date with safeguarding and data policy and processes and able to identify where there are risks

Job Description: Food Sourcing and Gleaning Officer 

Reporting to: Head of Food and Logistics

Department: Operations 

Salary: £25,000-£27,000 per annum 

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (8.30am – 5pm) 

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:00 

Contract: Fixed Term until 31st March 2026

Purpose of the Role 

The Food Sourcing and Gleaning Officer plays a key role in FareShare South West’s mission to reduce food waste and fight hunger across the South West. You will be responsible for developing FareShare South West’s network of local suppliers, increasing the number of donations of good to eat surplus food to the organisation. The role also includes a focus on gleaning, this is the mobilisation of volunteers to pick surplus farm crops to be sent out to our network of charities. This forms part of a gleaning pilot project that is happening in 2025-26.

As an ambassador for FareShare South West, you will provide excellent customer service to food suppliers and work closely with our operations and logistics team to ensure food is transported safely, efficiently, and with care. 

Key Responsibilities 

Local Food Sourcing 

• Support delivery of the Local Food Sourcing Strategy to build a sustainable and expanding supply of local food. Complementing national food partners and matching this with the needs of a diverse Community Food Member base. Delivering a consistent supply of food throughout the year whilst adapting to seasonal fluctuations, and specific projects. 

• Research potential food sources by geography, type, and sector (retail, wholesale, producer, grower). 

• Conduct outreach to establish and broker supplier relationships, including on-site visits and securing food supplies in line with growth plans. 

• Participate in working groups with other FareShare regional centres to share local food sourcing opportunities and share best practice on gleaning projects. 

• Implement a gleaning project involving volunteers to harvest surplus produce from farms across the South West. Working closely with the corporate volunteer coordinator to organise and support gleaning activities. 

• Track and report the success of these gleaning activities in line with the projects KPIs.

• Expand the network of surplus food suppliers in the South West, with emphasis on Cornish companies. 

• Work with the Communications team to develop supplier engagement content such as impact stories, case studies, and visual materials. Also support the planning and execution of an event to engage more food suppliers.

Logistics 

• Coordinate logistics to cost-effectively receive surplus food. Supporting the Head of Food and Logistics in managing dedicated vehicles for food collection and liaising with warehouse staff to optimize use of the van fleet for additional collections. 

• Oversee safe and compliant movement of stock across sites to maintain adequate inventory levels for order fulfilment.

• Serve as a point of contact with FareShare UK and other regional centres on food sourcing and logistics matters. 

Food Management 

• Managing ad-hoc food offers from FareShare UK, balancing operational and storage capacity across sites. 

• Collaborate with warehouses and membership teams to understand member needs and allocate unusual food and non-food offers efficiently. 

• Act as liaison between operations teams and external suppliers, providing feedback and escalating issues as needed. 

General 

• Represent FSSW in local partnerships and collaborations focused on reducing food waste and surplus. 

• Maintain accurate and accessible records of food sourcing activities and provide timely performance updates to Head of Food and Logistics for monthly Food & Logistics reporting. 

• Contribute to annual budgets and strategic planning as required. 

• Ensure compliance with FareShare national policies, procedures, and relevant legal frameworks. 

• Undertake other administrative duties as necessary. 

• Support the food team function in the absence of the Head of Food and Logistics.

Person Specification 

Essential Criteria 

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build and maintain trusted relationships and foster collaboration. 

• Experience managing diverse stakeholder relationships, preferably in the food or operations industry.

• Experience in supply chain, or logistics coordination, ideally in the charity or food sector. Showing a high level of attention to detail. 

• Understanding of food safety, health and safety, and compliance related to food handling and transport.

This is a key role supporting the NFF team to amplify the experience of flooded people and the work of the National Flood Forum.  We’re looking for a proactive and people-focused Communications & Campaigns Manager to join our team. This role will support national campaigns, amplify our key messages and activity across regions, platforms and stakeholders. You will be a key contact and will help us tell powerful stories about flooding and flooded people.

Responsibilities

Strategic Communications & Storytelling

• Translate community activity and project work into compelling stories and campaigns that raise the voices of those affected by flooding.
• Contribute creative ideas to grow awareness of the National Flood Forum’s work and impact.
• Adapt messages to resonate with a variety of audiences, including policymakers, partners, media, and communities.

Content Creation & Digital Media

• Create engaging digital and written content, including newsletters, blogs, website content, case studies, and social media posts.
• Support and build on the development of the NFF’s website

This role delivers one to one case work including ongoing support to resolve both immediate and crisis situations, in the main relating to welfare benefits, referring to appropriate support agencies and other ICCM services promoting a multiagency approach. The aim of the service is to empower people through access to appropriate support services and improve quality of life, health and wellbeing.

​This is a fixed term role to cover for Maternity Leave (9 Months)

· Delivering client focused, culturally appropriate support services for the benefit of members of the Irish community in Manchester on an appointment office basis, drop in service, and on outreach for those with mobility issues facilitating access to mainstream health, housing, education and employment services.

• To provide support to members of the Irish community who are vulnerable through age, poor physical or mental health, homelessness, risk of homelessness, drug/alcohol use, offending, hate crime, social and cultural isolation etc.
• To complete an initial assessment of Service Users’ needs, presenting issues and risks, making onward referrals to statutory and other voluntary support agencies as appropriate for people to access specialist support
• An understanding of how to deal with people who have experienced trauma.
• Inputting all client based work onto the CMS; maintaining accurate and up to date case files and reporting.
• To facilitate the successful running of ICCM’s health and well being activities as required.
• To promote the wider work of ICCM, facilitating pathways to support where needed.

As a key point of contact for incoming enquiries, you proactively connect with schools and community groups, working closely with the Visitor Experience Manager and the Marketing and Communications Manager to promote our Trinity site and grow our core business. We are seeking 6 Community Support Workers to join our growing Newbridge day service in Stockport, which supports adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex Needs. The Senior Community Support Worker will also work flexibly across two other services based at Newbridge – an evening Youth Club and a Saturday Club for children with complex health needs.

As Clinical Research Administrator, you will be integral in helping to support and deliver the activity in the research team. This includes supporting our clinical research initiatives, such as the UK Blood Cancer Research Network, and a newly launched strategic funding call for large-scale clinical trials. The service offers specialist support to homeless men across a range of areas including re-offending behaviour, mental health issues, physical health needs and substance misuse. Edward Alsop Court implements and promotes the Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) model. This is an approach to supporting people out of homelessness, those who have experienced complex trauma or are diagnosed with a personality disorder. It also considers the psychological needs of staff: developing skills and knowledge, increasing motivation, job satisfaction and resilience.
As a maintenance worker, you will be responsible for small responsive/maintenance items (for example replacement of bulbs, batteries, tightening of screws etc) to internal elements and components; PAT test items; internal decorations; cleaning of communal spaces; removal of minor items; fixture and fittings such as shower curtains, mirrors, bathroom fittings (toilet seats, toilet rolls holders etc); assembly furniture; bins removal; there will be a weekly rota with tasks allocated to each day which will be given weekly; support with shopping deliveries.

The working hours for this role is: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm

About the role:

You are able to work a hybrid with 3 days working from the office in Basingstoke and 2 days working from home.

As a Caseworker you will:

• Make calls to offer support to victims of crime, delivering immediate support.
• Develop, deliver and monitor safety and support plans for those affected by crime who accept ongoing support, which will include providing resources, interventions, and information to all service users
• Work alongside and oversee the casework management of a small number of volunteer supporters
• Liaise and actively engage with other local providers to share information on the VS service offer and options for victims and survivors

You will need:
