This is not a desk-bound role. You’ll be packing Brite Box meal kits, running sessions with families and older people, building and leading a committed volunteer team, and producing reports that tell our story to funders and decision-makers. It’s a role for someone equally at home lifting boxes and writing impact reports.

In this role, you will play a vital role in enabling the smooth running of the organisation and its programmes through maintaining excellent programme administration, comms, governance, reporting systems and cross organisational project work. 

The role is a key part of the wider Core Team.  

The role is ideally suited to individuals with an interest in the core running of a charitable organisation.

The role will provide support for the Senior Management Team and wider delivery team. Communications 

• Prepare and maintain an annual comms timeline – including key celebratory or significant events for example mental health week, volunteer day etc ensuring that the Trust is maximising coverage across these key dates in the year;  

• Maintain the annual events calendar – work with programme leads to ensure events are being covered by comms; 

• Coordinate, collate and support with the preparation, completion and delivery of the ST newsletter – distribute via Mailchimp and oversee staff hard copy delivery;  

• Day to day social media, liaising with Programme leads for engaging content; 

• Monitor and ensure the website content is updated as needed; 

• Prepare Board report on Comms; 

• Be main contact for and oversee workstream with our Graphic Designer;

• Management of Plinth data management system, including managing supplier relationship, monitoring data is inputted correctly and staff training and support; 

• Oversight of data requirements per programme and extraction of headline data information for board reports and general funding bids and reports; 

• Attend quarterly Commissioner Meetings with colleagues. 

Programme Administration 

• Maintain and update contracts and grants master spreadsheet; 

• Preparing paperwork for new contracts and grants agreements; 

• Prepare and issue contract invoices using Xero accounting system; 

• Monitor payment schedule using Xero and update SLT; 

• Coordinate with accountants when contract invoicing is linked to monthly payroll; 

• Planning and set up of new programmes. Supporting staff to launch programmes according to contract funding; 

• Management of core support across delivery programmes including but not limited to advice and assistance, baby buddies, group programmes etc; 

• Supporting SLT with preparation and submission of bid applications 

• Supporting the Core Team with planning and delivering ad hoc organisational projects in line with Organisational Annual Strategy. 

Job Requirements 

Our work is place-based, and people focused. To be responsive to the community and to be able to support Shoreditch Trust activities, we do not offer remote working contracts. You will need to be flexible, working some evenings and weekends. Hours will be agreed on a mutually beneficial basis in line with planned activities. You will be expected to attend organisational meetings, events and clinical supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Grants Manager to deliver our evolving grants and capacity building provision to the youth sector; bringing together our work to ensure a streamlined offer

Background Information and Purpose of Post

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Promoting our work and building relationships with institutional donors

Supporting the work of the Head of Institutional Relations, you will have sound knowledge of the donors and funding mechanisms in your portfolio and contribute proactively to influencing their funding strategies and priorities. Duties include:

· Maintain a good understanding of HI’s programmes, strategy and approach and communicate this externally.

· Identify and build relationships with a portfolio of large public and private institutional donors and their key suppliers (e.g. INGOs and for-profit development companies), mobilising colleagues from UK and across the global organisation as required.

· Work with country programmes to develop country-level action plans to engage with local representatives of UK donors and partners, in order to strengthen in-country relationships, influence donors’ country-level plans and access in-country funding opportunities. This will also involve supporting the development of multi-year operational plans and advise on the funding possibilities offered by UK institutional donors.

· Anticipate future trends and the expectations of the donors and funding mechanisms in your portfolio, influence their policies and strategies, and negotiate and consult with them on institutional funding matters, in liaison with the appropriate colleagues from the UK team and federal network.

Generate and manage institutional funding from UK donors

You will follow and champion HI’s internal institutional funding procedures to identify and analyse funding opportunities from UK sources, contribute to project submissions, and carry out grant management duties. You will:

· Monitor, identify, analyse and communicate all relevant funding opportunities from donors in your portfolio (including development and humanitarian grant opportunities and commercial contracts). This will involve facilitating internal go/no go decision-making for new opportunities and advising and supporting programme colleagues on positioning and consortium-building when relevant.

· Lead the review and analysis of the requirements in new funding agreements and contracts, advise internal stakeholders on compliance and ensure appropriate contract negotiation and due diligence processes are followed.

· Implement internal procedures for contract/grant management, including information management, and support the submission of reporting and payment requests according to donor requirements.

Improve our track record for UK institutional funding

You will be responsible for increasing internal understanding of donors and funding mechanisms in your portfolio, particularly FCDO, Start Network, Australian DFAT and Irish Aid, supporting high quality strategic submissions and donor compliance. You will:

· Create internal communications, train and brief finance, programme and technical staff (including country programmes) on the donors in your portfolio, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to comply with donor rules, understand donor priorities and focus areas, and maximise the potential for funding.

· Support proposal development, advising on donor requirements, expectations and preferences.

· Build strong relationships and internal links with technical and programme teams and contribute to internal working groups on issues related to institutional funding.

Job Summary

The purpose of the Area Giving and Finance Adviser role is to provide comprehensive finance support to churches within the Stepney Area, aiding them in the development of their ministries, manage Common Fund giving and to support the Area Bishop’s staff team in the management of resources including monitoring clergy post numbers, curate funding, and other financial matters. As part of a small team of Area Giving and Finance Advisers, the role involves offering training, resources, and advice on parish financial management and administration, and advice on various giving methods, including online and contactless options. Additionally, the role entails promoting generous giving through training initiatives, facilitating the award of grants and loans to churches from Area funds, and fostering effective communication and relationship-building between the Area team, Finance team, and parish officers.

StreetVet is a fast-growing national charity, committed to providing free, accessible veterinary care to the pets of those experiencing homelessness and to keeping pets and owners together to maintain their unbreakable bond. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team. The role will report to the Head of Marketing and Fundraising and will be responsible for developing and implementing the fundraising strategy, driving forward all aspects of fundraising, including building corporate charity of the year partnerships, individual giving, major donors,
trusts and foundations, legacies and community fundraising.

The successful candidate will be a core member of the Central Team, working closely with the Marketing Team to develop and deliver income for the charity.

 
This role will have budgetary responsibility to achieving a revenue target in financial year 26/27 of £1.5 million, whilst building a sustainable income stream for the long-term with Yr on Yr growth. Key priorities include increasing the Individual Giving and Regular Giving donor database, donor and fundraiser stewardship, organising fundraising events, and securing grants and sponsorships.

The role of Digital Officer plays a key role in supporting the delivery and continuous improvement of The Children’s Trust’s digital communications. Working closely with the Digital Manager and wider Marketing and Communications team, the postholder will help ensure our website, email marketing and other digital activity are engaging, accessible, user-focused and aligned with organisational priorities and brand guidelines.

The role will support the day-to-day management of the charity’s websites maintaining high-quality, up-to-date content with a strong user experience, alongside contributing to integrated marketing and communications activity through digital channels, including email and paid digital support. Using analytics and insight, the Digital Officer will help monitor performance, identify opportunities for optimisation and support data-driven decision making to enhance reach, engagement and user journeys.

This role requires a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of digital best practice, who can work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities effectively while contributing to the ongoing development of The Children’s Trust’s digital presence.

Role Requirements

Website management

• Support the day-to-day running of the charity’s websites, managing updates from across the organisation and ensuring continuous improvement and development of content, layout and structure.
• Support the Digital Manager to work with teams across the charity to ensure all website content is fresh, up-to-date and in line with our key messages, style and tone of voice.
• Support Digital Manager with ensuring websites are compliant, secure, accessible, user-friendly and aligned to brand, communications and organisational objectives.
• Produce content that complies with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 – Level AA) and help promote web accessibility throughout the Organisation.
• Build and maintain online forms, e.g. donations, event entries and data capture.

Campaigns and email marketing

• Assist the Digital Manager and Senior Marketing Manager with paid digital activity on small scale campaigns, covering areas such as paid social and Google ads or search campaigns and boosted posts.
• Contribute to marketing and communications plans for campaigns and projects.
• Support with review and delivery of email communications produced across the organisation to ensure they meet brand and best practice guidelines.
• Support with the creation and management of email communications using DotDigital.
• Optimise performance through A/B testing, segmentation and analytics.
• Collaborate with the Digital Manager to support and ensure effective targeting, segmentation and retargeting in our email marketing and paid campaigns.
• Support Digital Manager with the day-to-day running and long-term development of our Google Grants account and campaigns.
• Identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement and supporter retention.

Online Searches

Role Purpose 

The key responsibilities will include Project coordination, coordinating financial information, monitoring campaign activities, assisting with donor reporting and proposal writing, engaging with and coordinating EIA team members in planning, delivery and performance tracking, liaising with external stakeholders including donors and advocacy partners, supporting with the production of campaign and communication materials and providing support for organising workshops and events. 

Key areas of responsibility 

Finance

• Assist with budgets for all project-related activities, complete reconciliations and accurately reporting expenditure during trips
• Collaborate with Finance to support on campaign budget performance and donor expenditure 
• Support day-to-day financial processes, including preparing reports, processing invoices and responding to internal queries.
• Prepare and distribute monthly budget updates
• Track expenditure, ensure it is allowable under the campaign grant conditions and conforms with the terms of the various grant agreements
• Support with preparing budget forecasts, updates and maintain trackers
• Ensure timely and compliant processing of payments to consultants and partners

Person Specification

• Proven experience maintaining project budgets, conducting financial analysis, and ensuring donor compliance in a non-profit or international development context.
• Experience assisting with the development of funding proposals, and liaise with donors.
• Experience contributing to strategic planning processes and coordinating multi-stakeholder campaign activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Smartsheet)
• Experience managing external partners and contractors, including contracts, deliverables, and sub-grant compliance
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with experience building effective relationships across diverse teams, partners and donors
• Strong knowledge or interest in the campaign subject

About the Role  

As Funding and Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in managing the full assessment lifecycle, from answering applicants' queries and presenting at funding webinars, to assessing applications through to completion. You will review funding applications, undertake due diligence and present clear, well-evidenced funding recommendations to inform decision-making. 

Working closely with applicants, Lloyds Banking Group colleagues and external partners, you will  provide a responsive and professional service throughout the funding process. You will also ensure accurate grant management through Salesforce, ensuring exceptionally clean data for audit and research purposes. You will also contribute to improving how we work, using feedback and insight to enhance processes and practice across the team.

Action for Refugees in Lewisham is a thriving, dynamic community charity supporting asylum seekers, refugees and migrants across South East London. This is an exciting new role to the organisation forming a senior management team alongside the Executive Director, Casework Manager and Education and Finance Manager. This key senior position combines line management of central staff, high level fundraising, grants monitoring and compliance, development of enhanced member co-production, oversight of operational systems and management of pilot projects emerging from AFRIL’s 2027-30 strategy.

Job Purpose:

• To manage and coordinate the operations of the organisation, overseeing high level day to day operations including IT and systems, GDPR, Health and Safety, volunteer management, operational policies and procedures.

• To provide leadership and line management to the Monitoring and Operations Officer, Experts by Experience Coordinator and Community Activities Coordinator. With possible additional line of other project staff as organisational capacity requires.
