About the role
We are looking for an experienced Grants Manager to join our Fundraising team and play a key role in stewarding relationships with our institutional funders. You will manage a portfolio of trusts, foundations and statutory donors, ensuring excellent account management and delivering high-quality applications and reports that help secure and grow vital funding.
Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, campaigns and finance, you will identify opportunities to deepen partnerships with existing supporters while ensuring compliance, strong communication and long-term relationship building. Your work will directly contribute to achieving our fundraising targets and supporting the organisation’s long-term financial sustainability.
About you
You are an experienced grants professional with a strong track record of securing significant income from trusts, foundations or statutory funders. You are highly organised and confident managing multiple relationships, from identifying opportunities and developing compelling proposals through to reporting and ongoing stewardship.
You are an excellent communicator with the ability to translate complex information into clear, persuasive proposals and donor updates. Collaborative and proactive, you enjoy working across teams, building trusted relationships with colleagues and funders alike. You are motivated and comfortable using own initiative.

Interview

Overview of Role:
Church Army is looking for an experienced ‘Apprenticeship Programme Lead’ to implement, support and develop our Youth Ministry Apprenticeship Programme, focusing on developing practitioners to inhabit the qualities outlined in the Ministerial Formation Framework.
Church Army has been awarded funding by the Church of England’s Resourcing Ministerial Formation Innovation Fund and the 30K Project to develop a three-year pilot project to develop Level 3 Apprenticeship Training for Church Based Youth Workers. This is part of the Church of England’s 30K Project, to raise up 30,000 new children and youth ministers (both voluntary and employed) by 2030.
The postholder will manage programme delivery, resources, quality assurance, assessment, and reporting, and will act as the main liaison with dioceses, training providers, and National Church Institutions, including using the Church of England grant management system. You will contribute to the design and review of training pathways, teach and assess apprentices, and oversee Ministerial Formation Tutors. You will ensure that training is aligned with emerging practice and national strategy.
Salary: £46,085 per annum
Hours:37.5 per week
Pension: Church Army is an auto enrolment pension employer. You will be assessed under pension auto enrolment criteria.

Wiltshire & Swindon Community Foundation is seeking an experienced and motivated Programmes Manager to join our Programmes team*, helping to design and deliver our open and trusting grant-making to groups and individuals across the County. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring that we maintain and grow our reputation as an informed and flexible funder, delivering circa £2.5m+ of grants per year and realising the ambitions of our 2025–2030 organisational strategy.
The postholder will understand how to build mutually beneficial relationships with a range of stakeholders including applicants for funding, donors, and partners such as our local authorities and infrastructure organisations. This role requires a confident and thoughtful grant-maker, able to manage deadlines and priorities, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and solid numeracy skills. With a genuine interest in and knowledge of the VCSE in Swindon and Wiltshire you will champion the sector through delivering grants programmes, support and advice. You’ll work closely with your Programmes colleagues, consisting of the Director, 2 Managers (of which you would be one), an Officer and an Administrator, and the wider staff team.
*Other organisations might call this Grants Manager/Funding Manager.

Our Youth and Community team based at Oasis Community Hub: Warndon are looking for a special, talented, and adaptable Regional Administrator, to help us strengthen and sustain our range of community and targeted youth programmes across Warndon and the Midlands region, through offering administration assistance and social media support. You will work alongside our Hub Leader to:
· complete a range of administration tasks to support the smooth running of the local hub projects
· Promote Community Hubs through various social media platforms
· Support the team with the implementation and effective use of the EVIDE data management system.
· Assist the regional director with administrative tasks as required
· Record all activity on our data management system.
· Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people you come into contact with.

· A relevant qualification in Administration/ Marketing and/or significant experience.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and it’s harming too many lives. At Prostate Cancer UK, one of our top priorities is funding research that leads to real change. It’s vital we do our best to make sure this research makes a meaningful difference to men’s lives, and that’s where you come in.
We’re at an exciting time, with a new strategy coming soon, and so we are looking to grow our Research Funding Team. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Grant Manager to help us deliver our core funding schemes and embark on new, exciting initiatives to fund ground-breaking research that will revolutionise how prostate cancer is diagnosed and treated.
You’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of around a third of our active research grants, providing support and guidance to the researchers leading them. You’ll be a main point of contact for grant applicants, supporting them through the application process and providing them with guidance about remit and eligibility. Using your understanding of research funding and administration, you’ll work with our Senior Research Officers to make sure our funding schemes run smoothly, to time and support our funding Committees in their review of the applications we receive.
What the job involves
It’s crucial that we not only have fair and robust processes to ensure that we fund the very best research, but that we also closely monitor and support the delivery of the resulting projects, to maximise their impact and accelerate the advancements we see through research. Which is why we’re looking to appoint an experienced Grant Manager to join our Research Directorate.
As part of your responsibilities, you’ll manage a portfolio of our active research grants, closely monitoring their progress and finances, and provide valuable support and advice to our grant holders and their teams. You’ll develop a detailed understanding of the science behind these projects and build positive working relationships with the researchers and their institutions. You’ll monitor your portfolio for demonstrable outputs (publications, presentations, intellectual property etc.) and you’ll work closely with colleagues in other teams to help them better understand the research we fund in order to showcase this to our supporters and potential donors.
You’ll support the delivery of our research funding grant schemes, managing at least one of our grant rounds, whilst also supporting our other funding schemes, ensuring that we maintain robust processes and adhere to industry and department standards. You’ll also help direct on our activities to involve people with experience of prostate cancer in research, including their involvement in the assessment of the research proposals we receive, as well as supporting researchers to include patients in the design and delivery of their projects.

How and where we work
Colleagues attend the office at least four days per month (pro rata for part-time colleagues) to collaborate, build relationships, and support projects and decision-making. You can choose where to work the rest of the time. Travel to the office is a commute, so we pay our own travel costs.
Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.

A Rocha UK is a unique Christian nature conservation charity that mobilises Christians and churches to care for the natural world. We equip and inspire Christians to enjoy, nurture, and defend nature; and we run the Eco Church and related eco denominational schemes, such as Eco Dioceses. Our Conservation work is a core component of the project portfolio at A Rocha UK. We manage our own nature reserve at Foxearth Meadows in Essex and manage the Partners in Action programme, which consists of a network of over 60 organisations and sites managing over 20,000 acres of land for nature. The conservation team is also responsible for oversight of our scientific work and related data. Currently we are working on a trial scheme to assess climate resilient tree planting techniques at four locations around the UK.
Purpose of role:
This role will make a significant contribution to the efficient running of the Conservation Department by supporting the Head of Conservation in their leadership of the programme and the wider Conservation team in the smooth running of the Partners in Action programme. This year A Rocha UK will be undertaking a strategic review of our conservation work and the Conservation Team Administrator will play a role in supporting the admin function behind the review process. The post will play a key role in the facilitation of good communication between the Conservation Team and other departments, to ensure efficient and effective joint working. The successful candidate will possess good organisational skills, with excellent teamwork skills, and discretion in handling confidential information.
