Membership Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and talented Development team
We are looking for an experienced Membership Manager to join our small and friendly Development team (Fundraising and Membership) and drive our strategy for Membership. With a healthy existing membership base of nearly 15,000, and a database of 100,000 registrants, this role will support the Head of Development in delivering the best possible membership offer for families in the Twins Trust community. You will be supported by a Membership Officer to continually evaluate and improve our membership proposition, giving members a brilliant experience and ensuring we can secure sustainable income for the charity.
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Four-five days per week (30 - 37 hours) Negotiable for the right candidate
Flexibility: We are a flexible employer and most of our staff are juggling things (including caring for multiples!). We are great at making jobs work around life.

The Charity
James’ Place exists to save the lives of men in suicidal crisis through delivering free clinical services. We currently have centres in Newcastle, Liverpool and London; and in early 2026 we will be opening our fourth centre in Birmingham. Our new centre in Birmingham will be there to support suicidal men living in the West Midlands.
Our trained, professional therapists deliver a proven clinical service in a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring that men are seen quickly at the point of crisis. We have so far treated over 3,600 men who might otherwise have been unable to access the support they desperately need.
The Role
We are seeking a driven and experienced manager to oversee the operational side of our new Birmingham Centre. This is a pivotal role within the team which focuses on coordinating activity across the service to ensure the safe and effective delivery of our intervention.
The successful candidate will manage the day to day running of the James’ Place centre, with oversight from the Birmingham Head of Centre. You will manage the centre environment through both resource management and by influencing and driving local culture. The Centre Manager is responsible for line management of the Clinical Administrators and overseeing the processing of referrals to the service, ensuring men coming to James’ Place are welcomed warmly, within the expected timeframe and according to our values.
This is a new role and during their first months in post, the Centre Manager will work closely with the James’ Place Head Office Team to prepare James’ Place Birmingham for a successful launch.
Person Specification
This role requires someone with excellent organisational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills who can work hands-on in a busy and potentially challenging environment. You will be collaborative and work closely with the local team and wider charity outside the Birmingham centre to ensure we have consistent and effective systems in place.
We are looking for a forward thinking and proactive individual with experience of both people and operational management. The successful candidate will align with the James’ Place values and be able to demonstrate these through everyday practices including supportive leadership and line management.
Your management and administrative skills will be highly valued in sustaining the clinical operations of James’ Place. You will need to be proficient in Office 365 software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to manage Outlook cloud calendars, SharePoint, CRM databases, and shared inboxes.
The Centre Manager will often meet the men who come to James’ Place in suicidal crisis and so you will be able to demonstrate empathy and an ability to create a sense of calm while working in a sensitive and busy environment.

We are a young and thriving charity providing education about healthy and unhealthy behaviours so that young people have the knowledge and skills to avoid abuse and thrive in their relationships. We work in schools, community organisations and workplaces across London.
LMK is growing at pace and we are ambitious in our plans for the future. Job Description
This is a new role, joining a small and growing fundraising team. The purpose of this Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Manager role is to grow LMK’s income generation from Charitable Trusts and Foundations, to support delivery of LMK’s mission.
The role is a true combination of independent and collaborative working. Independent in the writing of bespoke funding applications and reports, maintaining accurate records on LMK’s CRM, and researching to continually build LMK’s pipeline of Trusts & Foundation prospects.
And collaborative in the close working with LMK’s core team to monitor and report on restricted grants, and working together with the wider fundraising team on creative projects such as: maintaining an updated library of cases for support, implementation of fresh and creative stewardship strategies that bring LMK supporters closer to our work, and cultivation strategies that engage supporters to whom LMK is brand new.
The role requires strong relationship building skills, which will be drawn upon in your direct working with Trust & Foundation supporters and internally with LMK colleagues.
Key Responsibilities

Writing bespoke funding applications: you will be responsible for maintaining a regular pipeline of applications, writing and submitting proposals to new and existing Trust & Foundation supporters, including six-figure and multi-year grants, working to targets for both income generated and outputs (e.g. number of proposals per month).

Major Donor Fundraising
• Successfully develop and implement the philanthropy strategy to secure and maximise funds from high value individuals for Action for ME achieving annual income of £250k+

This is a strategic, delivery-focused role designed to lead Rethink Mental Illness’s work on the national Mental Health Services Dataset (MHSDS). The postholder will manage a pioneering project to design and implement data flows from Rethink alliances – including Open Mental Health in Somerset and Synergy in Sheffield – into the MHSDS. Our alliance model is aligned with the government’s neighbourhood health agenda – enabling the NHS to work in a fully integrated way with a range of community based and grassroots organisations. Ensuring that data flows from these organisations is critical.
The role will build a robust data model, work directly with voluntary sector partners to understand their CRM systems, and develop automated submissions that ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Beyond compliance, the postholder will position Rethink Mental Illness as a sector thought leader by creating a replicable model that enables voluntary sector data to be integrated into national reporting – an ambition that has not yet been achieved elsewhere.

Lepra is dedicated to addressing leprosy and lymphatic filariasis (LF) and their consequences through direct support, advocacy, and the promotion of inclusive communities. We work in Bangladesh and in India, through our sister organisation, LEPRA Society. We work in partnership with people affected by leprosy and LF to improve detection, ensure access to treatment and care, and promote inclusion and wellbeing. Last year we finalised our new Global Strategy for 2024-30, which will guide us in our efforts to accelerate progress towards global targets for leprosy and LF, and towards our vision of a world free from leprosy and LF.

Our Global Strategy marks a significant evolution in our organisational direction, introducing innovative approaches and renewed priorities. Reporting to the Head of Education at global animal welfare charity, Worldwide Veterinary Service (WVS), you will help grow and develop education programmes that protect children from key zoonotic disease and improve the relationship between animals and people.
One child dies from rabies every 10 minutes. Most victims are under the age of 15. Rabies is 100% fatal, but entirely vaccine preventable. Children just need the right information to protect themselves. WVS established Mission Rabies, a campaign that aims to eliminate rabies for good, in 2013. We have worked hard to reach 9.6 million children worldwide, but around half of the world’s 2 billion children at this age still live in rabies endemic countries. You will manage national education managers based across Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, and Latin America to spread our core messages to a wider audience. This is essential if we are to deliver our goal to halve the number of people dying from rabies in the next 5 years.

The postholder will have responsibility for leading and developing the Boarding Schools Bursary programme in partnership with Royal SpringBoard and will be the principal point of contact for IntoUniversity centres, the bursary students and their families, the boarding schools and Royal SpringBoard.
The successful candidate will quickly gain an understanding and knowledge of the IntoUniversity students recommended for bursary places and will develop relationships of trust with their families to ensure a smooth transition and integration into boarding school.

Location: Frequent travel around the UK is required for this role. Could be based in one of the following IntoUniversity centres: Birmingham, Bradford, Coventry, Leeds, Leicester, London, Manchester, Nottingham
Salary:
£40,800 per annum (including London contribution) for candidates based in London
£38,100 per annum for candidates based outside of London
What will my main duties be?
Programme Management
- To oversee the IntoUniversity Boarding School Bursary Programme including recruitment of potential students and ongoing support of current boarders.
- To prepare the students and their families for Royal SpringBoard and school assessments as well as reparing for boarding school life.
- To plan and/or attend boarding school taster and pastoral visits across the UK.
- To create a calendar of out-of-boarding events and support for students and families to connect to their local centre, including centre visits and community hubs.
- Work with the Safeguarding Team to promote the wellbeing of students and respond to safeguarding concerns (additional training will be provided for this aspect of the role).
- Encourage post-18 alumni to engage with the Royal SpringBoard alumni programmes and the IntoUniversity Student Associate Network
- Ensure Salesforce database records and monitoring requirements are kept up to date.
Stakeholder Management
- Manage the relationship with Royal Springboard, including reporting on KPIs and maintaining communication.
- To build strong relationships and liaise with the host boarding schools and the key staff members such as Houseparents.
- To provide support to parents/carers as needed and manage any issues that may arise sensitively, mediating between the boarding schools, parents/carers and students as necessary.
Other duties
- To ensure that the ethos, values and culture of the charity are maintained.
- To champion diversity and inclusion in your role at all times, referring to the Diversity and Inclusion Staff Responsibilities Guide and fully supporting with the implementation of the charity’s Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.
- To ensure compliance with all necessary regulations and legal requirements, including the Children’s Act, Equal Opportunities, Data Protection, Health & Safety and Working with Vulnerable Groups.
- To undertake any task that may be requested from time to time that may be consistent with the nature and scope of this post.

This is a key role working alongside our Senior Programme Manager and Senior Race Equity Specialist to shape our ways of working, to enable more and more ethnic diverse people to act for nature.
You will have 2 main areas of responsibility:
- Supporting senior leaders, Achieving Race Equity taskforce members and the programme team, including coordinating tailored guidance, projects, activities and events, that drive and embed race equity initiatives across the RSPB. This will mean working closely with other parts of the organisation to understand their needs and skills gaps and developing solutions together that meet those needs. This role will act as the first point of contact for all matters concerning support for the taskforce
- Lead on a ‘Principle Workstream’ within the Achieving Race Equity Programme and take responsibility for ensuring that projects and initiatives within key areas meet the objectives and are coordinated effectively.
This role will play an active role in communicating and engaging with stakeholders and senior management at different levels.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in driving coordinating and synchronising anti-racist/EDI change and trauma informed wellbeing initiatives with dispersed teams, in complex settings. This should include training and facilitation skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Deep understanding of achieving race equity, intersectionality, and the impact of discrimination in the workplace. Familiarity with the Equality Act 2010 and best practices in race equity work, preferably within the conservation or related sector.
- Proven track record in coordinating multiple projects, activities, and events, managing resources, including financial, logistical support for group operations such as travel and accommodation, while delivering clear, engaging communications.
- Strong experience in creating accessible content across various formats (written, visual, digital) that engages diverse audiences around race equity issues with the ability to move people to action.
- Experience in working with and influencing senior stakeholders and effectively communicating change across the organisation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and other digital communication and project management tools. Strong IT skills with the willingness to learn and adopt new technologies as required.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, build trust, and foster strong relationships across diverse groups.
- Experience of engaging with ethnically diverse groups and co-producing solutions in a workplace or voluntary setting.
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
- Experience in a managerial role within an EDI or race equity framework.
- Experience of working within the conservation sector or a similar field, responding to race equity challenges.
- Demonstrated success in co-developing and implementing internal communications strategies that resonate with large, diverse audiences.
- Prior experience supporting senior leaders, taskforce or similar group in embedding inclusive practices.

About Dravet Syndrome UK
Dravet Syndrome UK (DSUK) is a small independent UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Dravet Syndrome. Dravet Syndrome is a rare neurological condition that affects around one in every 15,000 people in the UK. As well as experiencing severe, difficult-to-control seizures, children and adults with Dravet Syndrome have varying degrees of intellectual disability and a spectrum of associated conditions (known as ‘comorbidities’), which may include autism, ADHD, behaviours that challenge and difficulties with speech, mobility, eating and sleep.
The charity was founded in October 2008 by a small group of 30 families. Today, DSUK is a registered charity helping over 550 families with support, education, and research programmes, underpinned by a world-class Medical Advisory Board.
What you will bring
Essential
· Demonstrable experience in planning and delivering engaging and targeted social media content to build community, raise awareness and drive engagement.
· Hands-on experience managing websites (using WordPress), delivering e-marketing campaigns (e.g. Mailchimp or similar), and applying SEO principles and other techniques to optimise digital communications and online visibility.
· Demonstrable experience in media relations, including writing press releases, working with case studies and successfully pitching and responding to a range of media (online, press, radio, broadcast)
· Demonstrable experience of working in charity, patient advocacy or healthcare sectors
· Ability to deal with people at all levels with empathy, tact and credibility
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to distil large amounts of information and present it in engaging and innovative ways for a variety of audiences
· Demonstrable design skills and knowledge of desktop publishing software e.g. using Canva to create in-house designs for social media and our website
· Act as a brand guardian, ensuring external designers and agencies understand and apply our brand, visual identity, and corporate communications guidelines effectively
· Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise
