About the role:

3. Key Responsibilities
The Finance Assistant’s responsibilities include:
Finance
· Recording and analysing income and expenditure and posting transactions onto SAGE 50 Accounts
· Banking cash and cheques received
- Raising invoices and monitoring debtors
- Administering invoice approval and payment processes
· Operating expense claim procedures and payments
· Liaising with Fundraising team to reconcile income received with Raisers Edge

Job Purpose
As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for delivering professional customer service, work collaboratively across the organisation, and contribute to the success of the corporate plan. Financial accounting
- Oversee payments, purchase ordering, accounts payable, and ensure accurate recording of transactions in the general ledger.
- Lead the annual statutory audit, prepare statutory accounts, and coordinate with external auditors.
- Manage tax returns for Phoenix community Housing and subsidiaries (VAT, Corporation Tax) and ensure compliance.

Management Accounting
- Collaborate with finance business partners to provide consolidated monthly accounts, financial statements, and cash flow reports.

Reporting
- Participate in the annual budgeting process and update the business plan until Board approval is obtained.

Recovery Support Team Leader Location: London Salary: £30,082 per annum, plus benefits Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time We are recruiting for a Recovery Support Team Leader. The Recovery Support service is available to current or former Forward Trust clients who are on a substance misuse recovery pathway, making good progress within the Forward Trust towards their personal goals, and coming to the end of their current treatment pathway. While Recovery Support is not exclusively for clients who are abstinent, clients will need to be in control of their drink and/ or drug use, and not be chaotic in their using i.e. heavy drinking, antisocial behaviour, daily/binge using of either drugs or alcohol (especially main substance/s of choice). Forward Connect is a peer-led mutual aid community of like-minded people who are making good progress in their own journey – this could be people in addiction recovery, moving away from crime, overcoming mental health problems, or who are coming out of a period of unemployment or homelessness. Roles Responsibilities The Team Leader will be based within the central Recovery Support team. The Team Leader will be responsible for co-ordinating all recovery support functions across Forward Trust’s substance misuse services into a coherent and effective service that offers inspiration and a structured pathway to recovery for service users, as well as supporting to develop our peer led network called Forward Connect. The Team leader will also support with the delivery of the peer mentoring strategy in their allocated geographical areas. The aim of the role is to have a robust recovery support service integrated into all services, promoting and modelling the organisations values and ethos, supporting service users to further develop their recovery and lives, whilst bringing visible lived experience to all including staff via a range of recovery support interventions. The role is Hybrid. There is no set base but travelling is needed to Islington (London) as will require regular weekly visits to the 3 better lives buildings and occasional cover of weekend shifts in this area. You will also need to travel to units within their geographical areas which does include prisons and community projects. Some travel may be covered by the Forward Trust depending on your base, but ideally you should be based within 20 miles of Islington. The Net Zero Carbon Programme team is seeking a Programme Administrator who would play a vital role in providing administrative support, particularly the Energy Action Plans project.
The Energy Action Plans project provides fully subsidised energy audits to over 1000 of the highest emitting churches and church halls, plus a follow-up grant of £3k to enable the parish to implement some of the Quick Win measures identified in the audit.
This role involves supporting the team in executing a diverse and ambitious range of projects and collaborating closely with dioceses and parishes.
The post holder will hold key relationships with project leads and management teams within the Net Zero Carbon team. They will provide excellent communication and organisational skills across these teams as well as across our wider network of internal and external stakeholders.
The role will report directly to the Net Zero Carbon Programme Officer. The post holder will maintain strong lines of communication with the wider NZC Programme team to develop, support, and maintain robust administrative and operations processes across all Net Zero Carbon Programme projects.
- Administrative Support to Programme/Project Teams by providing support in arranging meetings using MS Teams and Zoom as required, coordinating meeting schedules and organising room bookings.
- Data and Record Keeping - Review filing systems, where appropriate making recommendations to Programme Officer/Project Managers for improvements to how records are organised. This includes being GDPR complaint.
- Correspondence and Communications - Draft and/or proofread correspondence materials prior to sending.

This role is situated within the NYA Academy with a focus on providing the very best youth work learning and development experiences across our NYA activities and programs for clients and young people. This role line manages and coordinates a team of Academy Tutors, supporting the delivery of training and developmental support for the NYA Academy. You will also hold cohort(s) of learners and be responsible for providing a positive learning experience.
The role requires a highly experienced youth work practitioner and line manager that is competent and confident in a leadership role; able to manage a passionate and experienced team of youth work specialists to provide a supportive space for reflective practice and professional growth whilst maintaining performance across NYA Academy contracts.
With a focus on training and development, this role requires experience of understanding the needs of learners, how to create engaging and relevant content and how to deliver high quality experiences for learners and other customers.
The post will require significant networking and engagement across the youth sector to ensure the NYA’s work is rooted in the needs of our sector.
Key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Manage and motivate a team of youth work specialists, providing line management and opportunities for reflective practice.
- Working with the Deputy Academy Principal to manage workflow and ensure deliverables are meeting required timescales.
- Work with the Deputy Academy Principal to build sector capacity to deliver quality youth work practice qualifications and CPD.
- Tutor and assess cohort(s) of learners.
- Work with the wider delivery team to develop and deliver training and development programmes to NYA staff and clients.
- Provide quality assurance for training and qualifications delivered across the NYA, working collaboratively with Lead IQAs.
- Ensure the NYA follows best safeguarding best practice.
- Ensure all operational activity and youth work content is to the highest quality, representing the position of NYA as the National Body for Youth Work in England.
- Any other duties that may reasonably be required of the role.

What You Will Be Doing

The Action on Disability Employment Service is setting the agenda for disability employment across London with great results. We provide management, job coaching and employer engagement for over 50 young people with learning disabilities each year across our 6 internship sites.

Background
Action on Disability is the supported employment service partner on a number of supported internships for young people with learning disabilities around West and South London. They are looking to recruit a number of job coaches to support interns and graduates of these programs in their jobs.
The Post
The purpose of the job is to provide coaching, support and guidance to young people with learning disabilities (17+) within their workplaces. You will support interns/graduates to become independent in their roles and provide the necessary coaching, training and encouragement to enable them to succeed. You will work closely with the employer to ensure they are supported and can confidently manage and train their intern/employee once your support has been withdrawn.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- To carry out a detailed job analysis of potential jobs / work placements
- To carry out detailed job matching of service users and jobs
- To comprehensively learn jobs across different sectors – not restricted to but potentially including – Catering, Customer Service, Administration, IT and Retail
- To implement training/coaching plans which will enable the candidates to fulfil their roles to employer standards
- To conduct regular reviews to ensure candidates are progressing within their roles and to identify and meet new support needs
- To build up natural support within employers and taper off one 1:1 job coaching over time
- To negotiate and implement disability-related reasonable adjustments on an individual basis

The Fundraising Executive is responsible for supporting participant registration and income growth within Endurance Events and Friends and Family fundraising.
