Job description

Established in 1989, Splitz Support Service is a leading provider of domestic abuse services in South West England.   We are a service-user led organisation, working closely with partner agencies and local communities to develop and deliver a range of relevant and innovative services and solutions for the victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse.  Our founder and current CEO is now retiring and we are looking to recruit someone to lead us on the next stage of our development.  You will be working with the Trustees and the wider team to develop and deliver a financially robust and focussed strategy, ensuring we continue to evolve our services for the people who need us.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a leadership style that aligns with our values and ambitions and who has exactly the right balance of professionalism and compassion, able to influence and negotiate in a variety of settings. You will need to be able to manage your strategic and operational responsibilities in an environment where we put our clients at the heart of everything we do. At the same time, our staff are critical to what we do and investment in their on-going training and pastoral support is an essential part of the charity. Needless to say, you will be highly organised and able to juggle changing priorities, using the tools and the team around you to work effectively and efficiently.  Considerable financial acumen is also a key skill for this role.

Our Head Office is based in Wiltshire but we also deliver services in Devon, Bristol and Gloucestershire.  We are looking for someone who is happy to travel across the South West but will also be in our HO for a couple of days a week.
