About the Role

Kinship are seeking to recruit experienced event co-ordinators with a whole range of skills and great energy to join our brand-new training team. They will be responsible for delivering this first ever programme of its type supporting kinship carers across England in their caring role.
As a pivotal part of the team, you’ll be supporting delivery of high-quality in-person and online training events across England. You’ll be the first point of contact for the team and be experienced and responsive in dealing with enquiries. You’ll be used to working with suppliers and have proven experience of planning, co-ordinating and supporting the delivery of large events. The Willats Trust gives grants to Christian workers to share the Good News of Jesus in some of the poorest and most marginalised communities in the UK and Ireland.
As a young man in the nineteenth century, William Willats, observed that the poorest people in the city of Bath, where he lived, didn’t go to church simply because they didn’t have suitable clothes to wear to a religious place of worship. As Director of Development, your key focus will be to harness this momentum to grow our charitable income and develop new revenue streams, enabling us to invest in making a greater impact. · Developing a Soil Association Group fundraising strategy to deliver our strategic plan and growth objectives.
· Leading our Fundraising and Supporter Development teams, ensuring targets are achieved and supporting their personal and professional development.
· Working closely with colleagues to curate coherent and compelling funding propositions that support our work and impact.
· Establishing and cultivating key donor and funder relationships
· Representing the charity at external meetings and events
· Contributing to the overall strategic development of the Soil Association Group alongside other Directors, the Group Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees

Our Business Development department is integral to the success of our organisation and we are looking for an experienced, organised and driven individual to fulfil the role of Head of Business Development.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable in leading and co-ordinating a team. You will lead and operationally manage the department in our external business development engagement activities as well as our internal, cross-departmental collaboration working towards our ‘Evolve Strategy’.
You will have a clear and demonstrable understanding of configuring, organising and developing business development strategies and an understanding of how an awarding body operates particularly within the education landscape.
A proactive communication style, strong organisation and interpersonal skills and a decisive nature are key qualities required in this role. You will operate in a flexible and predominantly remote working environment; therefore a demonstrable experience of working using your own initiative alongside a desire to innovate and test new ways of working are essential.
Your team will be supported by a Business Development Co-ordinator and two Business Development Managers, each focused on retention of business and new business (New Business Development Manager to be recruited). Role purpose:

Role overview
The Project Support Officer will support our Programmes Team with activity related to project delivery while members of the team are on maternity leave. The postholder will be responsible for completing a variety of project delivery tasks that support the smooth running of our online mentoring. These tasks include administrative support through our online mentoring platform, data entry and data monitoring, training our volunteers to be mentors and inducting young people onto our programmes.
Key responsibilities
