• Respond to customers on the Housing helpline, managing enquiries, raising contacts in a CRM database, with a view to tracking and tracing, follow up and offering excellent customer Service.

• Managing retention and disposal of information and files in line with GDPR and departmental policy.
• Manage the incoming mail service delivery through electronic means as well as incoming post (Church House), liaising with key business partners to establish a routine method of ensuring correspondence is directed to the correct team / department , cheques are handled in line with financial requirements and documents are returned where necessary.
• Manage standard letters / generic forms / I&R assessments as required, delivering a robust support service across the wider housing team.
• Create new and amend existing third-party details and ensure the accuracy of recorded information

• Liaise with utility suppliers, Local Authorities, customers and colleagues to ensure accuracy of data, including meter readings, void and occupancy date for council tax.
• Provide supporting information to clarify property status and request amended accounts to reflect this.
• Where necessary, investigate and respond to enquiries, including account queries, this may include enquiries from contractors, suppliers and other third parties.
• Challenge where necessary, to ensure value for money and quality of service from suppliers.
• Manage meter move requests and arrange prompt payment whilst liaising with all involved parties.

• Take responsibility for the day to day processing of payments across the Business team to include all departmental accounting functions in relation to works orders, purchase and framework orders, credit notes and invoices across charity and administrative company accounts, with particular focus to void costs, within required timeframes and in line with Service Level Agreements.
• Produce data uploads for finance transactions, ensuring accuracy of data and sign off completed data.
• Working collaboratively alongside our Finance and Resources partners to ensure prompt payment and when required, investigate queries that arise.
• Escalate issues and problems to managers when necessary to ensure payments are made on time, thus avoiding late payment fees and charges.
• Where necessary, engage with suppliers, contractors and customers ensuring that information is clear, concise and understood to achieve resolution.

• Support the management of the legacy mortgage scheme, supporting the Business Services Team Leader and Business Administration Officer (Mortgages), providing clarity and support on a range of queries and tasks.
• Manage quinquennial inspections in line with stakeholder agreements, refunding customers and producing monthly update reports.
• Develop knowledge and skills on mortgage redemptions, working closely with solicitors and customers to progress and complete sales and redemptions promptly.

• To ensure that data held in QL / SAP is complete, accurate and reliable through regular assessment of data using analysis and cleansing where necessary and to take personal responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of data and recorded information across all business streams.
• Produce stakeholder reports, business reports and information to enable transparency across the business, in line with agreements and compliance.
• Data management and entry for key information relating to insurance revaluations, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure insurance values are periodically reviewed.
• Produce and take responsibility for mail-merge data to enable communication to customers and stakeholders as and when required.

• Provide administrative support services to the business team whilst maintaining effective internal communication across all teams to ensure information is shared and understood.

Role Overview: 

The Head of Marketing & Sales plays a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s growth. You will develop and execute multi-channel strategies delivered across the funnel from enhancing brand visibility and generating leads, nurturing leads to conversion, right the way through to supporting customer retention and advocacy. The Project Officer (Strategic Data and Measurement Analyst) is an important new role at the Diocese, as you will provide a comprehensive understanding of our data sets to afford context and insight to the Deaneries, parishes and the Diocese which will help develop projects and programmes to drive growth in church attendance.

As Project Officer, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of all types of datasets available within the Diocese, including demographic data, attendance records, retention statistics and financial records, whilst identifying and implementing appropriate tools and methodologies for collecting and analysing new data insights.

An integral member of the Strategy Team and reporting to the Strategic Programme Manager, you will lead data analysis work for projects as needed, providing statistical expertise and composing narrative insights for project reports to inform decision making, support funding cases and investment requests.

Acting as a point of contact between the project office and other stakeholders, you will provide coordination and support as needed to ensure the smooth implementation of projects. You will also assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and documenting minutes, ensuring timely progress and effective communication within the team and with external partners.

In addition, you will represent the Strategic Programme Manager at project reviews, contributing to discussions and decision-making processes as needed.

Educated to degree level in a related subject or with equivalent experience, you should have familiarity with a variety of ways of presenting complex data clearly and be able to manage and organise a range of datasets from multiple sources to enable analysis, presentation and the identification of synergies.

Your enquiring mind and careful approach to manipulating and mining data to create insights and information, along with your ability to interpret data through an understanding of the project’s context, will ensure you are able to frame the questions that matter.

A high degree of IT literacy including use of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools and a working knowledge of databases, along with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills and a creative ability to deliver insights in clear and accessible written, verbal and visual media formats are essential.

Experience of using Business Intelligence tools and familiarity with basic project management principles would be desirable, as would being sympathetic with the mission and ethos of the Christian Church, the Church of England, the Diocese of Canterbury and the vision and values of our church schools.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Retention

• Administer the recruitment process by placing job adverts into the template on Canva, removing expired job adverts from the THET website; downloading applications; setting up interviews
• Update staff induction materials
• Update the Organisational Organogram on a monthly basis
• Update staff profiles on the THET website
• Maintain internal HR email/In-box
• Ensure new starters are added to the relevant induction meetings and staff meetings

Development & Performance

• Provide induction and refresher training to staff and volunteers on international travel
• Monitor implementation of staff training and development plans

Policies and procedures

• Follow THET policies and procedures, flagging any issues arising
• Update control sheet for policy review dates and maintain version control numbers for policies and forms

Administration

• Provide administrative support to the CEO and SMT
• Update and maintain the Activ absence system: – Create user accounts for new staff/ archive leavers; monitor staff absences
• Administer travel arrangements within the UK and overseas for senior managers
• Oversee and improve standard operating procedures and forms

Operational Support

• Coordinate the procurement process for items and services including approvals, advertising, tender process, preferred supplier contracts, communication to parties
• Undertake office management tasks including responding to THET mail/ calls; arranging and servicing office meetings; maintaining email distribution lists and email accounts
• Facilitate the purchasing of staff IT and other work equipment in line with budget
• Activate email accounts; coordinate laptops for new staff/leavers; open and close IT accounts for starters, and deactivate these for leavers
• Act as the main point of contact for the outsourced IT supplier.

Health and wellbeing

• Prompt Country Directors to ensure Country risk registers are up-to-date and evacuation/hibernation plans exist

Dog Assistance in Disability (A.I.D.) is a unique organisation, empowering disabled people to train their own pet dogs, supported by professional dog trainers as volunteers.

Dog A.I.D. was established in 1992 to assist people with physical disabilities, improving their quality of life by helping them train their own pet dogs to provide assistance with day-to-day tasks.

In 1996, the Dog A.I.D. Scheme was launched nationally at Crufts and today has a team of staff, volunteer trainers and assessors based across the country supporting over 168 Assistance Dog partnerships, both in training and fully qualified, with our office base in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.

As of May 2024, there are currently 98 fully qualified Dog A.I.D. dogs throughout the country, with 70 more in training with 95 voluntary Dog A.I.D. Trainers. The training takes up to two years with both dog and disabled owner (‘client’) receiving specialist education from our network of trainers and attaining fully accredited Assistance Dog status through three distinct stages.

Dog A.I.D. is a member of Assistance Dogs UK, a voluntary coalition of Assistance Dog charities that aims to promote the freedom, independence and rights of people with assistance dogs across the UK. All Assistance Dogs UK dogs adhere to the highest training and welfare standards as set out by Assistance Dogs International and the International Guide Dogs Federation.

This is an exciting time for the charity which has a strong team in place led by a new CEO who took up post in October 2023. Last year, the charity developed and launched its new 3-year strategic plan which has an ambitious plan for growth to meet the incredible demand for its life-changing services.

About Reprieve

Reprieve is a UK charity founded in 1999. Reprieve uses strategic interventions to end the use of the death penalty globally, and to end extreme human rights abuses carried out in the name of “counterterrorism” or “national security”.

 Reprieve works with the most disenfranchised people in society, as it is in their cases that human rights are most swiftly jettisoned and the rule of law is cast aside. Thus, Reprieve promotes and protects the rights of those facing the death penalty and those who are the victims of extreme human rights abuses carried out in the name of “counterterrorism” or “national security”, with a focus on arbitrary detention, torture, and extrajudicial executions.

 Reprieve’s main office is in Aldgate, London, UK. Reprieve also supports full-time Fellows, who work as lawyers, investigators and campaigners in the countries in which we work. We work closely with a number of partner organisations in jurisdictions all over the world, who provide access to clients, expertise, knowledge and guidance on specific issues or regions. About this role

The Digital Acquisition Officer is a key member of the Mass Engagement team and part of the wider Development team. The Mass Engagement team exists to raise awareness of Reprieve’s work, shift public opinion and to inspire support. Your role will be to engage members of the public, grow the Reprieve’s community and help establish our supporter base.

It is an exciting time for our team, as we launch their first mass engagement strategy to promote the long-term growth of the programme. Digital fundraising boomed between 2020 and 2021 but has faced challenges in 2022 and 2023. As we launch our new strategy, we are looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual, keen to try new things and learn through testing, excited about communicating Reprieve’s work to our supporters and inspiring them to donate.

You will be key to the acquisition of new supporters, leading on developing and managing lead generation across our platforms, building paid for and organic content, and developing new and innovative ways to engage supporters with the support of the Head of Digital and Mass Engagement.

As a small team we have a collaborative and “all hands on deck” approach, ready to step in and support each other. This means at times you will support on our retention and stewardship work, as well as helping the wider Development Team when needed.

You will share our commitment to fighting racism and advancing racial justice, as well as help craft comms that can take supporters with us on this work whilst ensuring we do this in a way that does not compound racist structures.

Contract, location and salary

This is a full-time, fixed term 18 month contract with the possibility of extension dependent on funding. The salary is £40,964 plus up to 5% employee matched pension contribution.

The Role

As the Fundraising Products Officer, you'll be instrumental in delivering and refining a diverse range of innovative fundraising products. Your key focus will be on meeting net income targets while ensuring an exceptional experience for our supporters. Reporting to the Fundraising Products Manager and with direct oversight of the Fundraising Products Assistant you'll be driving initiatives to attract, nurture, and retain supporters.

Collaborating closely with colleagues across the community and events teams, you'll contribute to developing new propositions to engage both existing and untapped audiences. Throughout, you'll be encouraged and supported to explore, experiment, and think outside the box.

Responsibilities:

Product and Project Management

• To help plan, deliver and develop portfolio of products, across both virtual events, community and event fundraising disciplines, to achieve KPIs and income targets.
• To project manage and lead on the successful delivery of fundraising products, ensuring clear schedules are in place and internal teams and other stakeholders are briefed and managed appropriately.
• To develop and deliver communication and content plans, maximising engagement from supporters and, in turn, remittance and average gift.

Supporter Care and Stewardship

• To help develop, and lead on the delivery of, effective and engaging cross-channel supporter journeys for participants including, but not limited to, email, social and direct mail, and develop resources, content and materials as required.
• To test and optimise supporter journeys to maximise remittance, average gift and retention, taking recommendations forward to provide the best possible supporter experience and ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.

Marketing and Digital

• To work with the fundraising products manager, internal teams and the community & events marketing team to develop effective marketing activity.
• To help develop approaches and assets, such as content and resources, for products in your care to drive engagement from supporters, remittance and average gift, across a range of channels.
• To work with digital engagement and the community & events marketing team to monitor and report on performance, including the most effective channels, creative and audiences, to help ensure investment is maximised.

About You

Ideally, you will be someone with a real drive and a passion for charity fundraising. Who is digitally focused, driven by insight and understands the importance of great stewardship experience.

You'll have experience in a range of fundraising activities including virtual events. Adept at supporter stewardship and journeys through a variety of channels, such as digital communities, phone, and email. You'll have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding KPIs. As well as being highly organised, comfortable managing projects and if needed the ability to work to tight deadlines
