As Graphic Designer you’ll be responsible for showcasing the impact and reach of our work through a wide range of creative. You’ll be working in a busy Communications Team, as part of GWT’s wider Engagement and Fundraising Team, and will work closely with the Head of External Relations , in addition to building relationships with staff across the organisation.

You’ll develop creative across a range of communications channels, including digital and print. As our ideal candidate, you’ll be a strong problem solver, with a conscientious and collaborative approach. You’ll have an excellent level of attention to detail, communication and strong interpersonal skills.

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing a fluctuating workload, with the ability to balance creativity with pragmatism to meet the varied needs of the organisaiton.

As a member of the Communications Team, the Graphic Designer will plan and execute creative for a variety of projects and audiences, including to support GWT’s fundraising work. You’ll work closely with the Head of External Relations and Head of Supporter Development to shape ideas, develop concepts and articulate and refine our message through creative.

As a key brand guardian, you’ll work to keep the organisation unified, using and developing our brand identity effectively both internally and externally.

The Head of Project Development is a new and pivotal role within the organisation that will bridge the gap between our fundraising efforts and the development and implementation of projects. Last year we saw a 133% growth in the numbers of young people facing homelessness coming through our doors. Now, nearly half of them are - or recently have been - sleeping rough and with the numbers of young rough sleepers in the capital growing at an alarming rate, New Horizon Youth Centre has had to take decisive action to unlock support and housing for this group. The Head of Services - Rough Sleeping is a brand-new role for the organisation and will lead on developing a new internal strategy for young people facing rough sleeping, as well as holding operational oversight of our established youth-specific street outreach function and emergency accommodation hub, both of which are unique in London. We are looking for a communications manager, you will be a senior member of our Culture, Communications, and Involvement directorate, leading our communications team to tell our story, build trust and create excitement about ISHA and everything we do for our residents and communities.

You will work with the Director of Culture, Communication & Involvement to develop the new communication strategy and lead on the implementation, ensuring that two-way communication with colleagues, residents, stakeholders, and the wider community whilst consistently promoting ISHA’s objectives and values.

We are looking for someone who is values-driven and brings communications best-practice, creativity and the ‘get-up-and-go' to help us write the next successful chapter. We need a communications all-rounder with great content instincts to tell our story well to a range of audiences, most importantly our residents and staff. Someone who can develop and implement strategies for high-impact internal and external communication, as well as ensuring delivery of our regular events and communication and marketing materials, such as leaflets, newsletters, annual reports and press releases.

We are also looking for someone with website redevelopment (or project management) experience to ensure that our website is given a much-needed refresh and then maintained to support a strong, positive resident experience.

Ideally, you will have some team management experience and be well-versed in getting the most out of your team members. You need to be flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic, and have excellent communication and influencing skills. A great sense of humour will serve you in good stead working in our busy, fast paced office.

The Head of Scotland and Northern Ireland is responsible for leading our vision to end the need for food banks in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Scotland currently leads the way in having a rights-based, progressive agenda to ending the need for food banks, but there is much to do to ensure political intentions become a reality. This role directs Trussell Trust’s policy and public affairs work in Scotland and Northern Ireland, leads our Scotland and Northern Ireland department as they support our network of food banks and works strategically with key partners to tackle the underlying reasons why people need to come to food banks.  

Based in Scotland or Northern Ireland, with travel around the UK as necessary

Role responsibilities 

• Lead the delivery of the Trussell Trust strategy for ending the need for food banks in Scotland and Northern Ireland, working to embed the Changing Communities, Changing Minds and Changing Policy programmes across the network, including through providing strategic support for the effective delivery of the Pathfinder, FI and organising programmes in Scotland and Northern Ireland. 

• Work with key partners to direct Trussell Trust’s policy and public affairs and work with the Scottish government and local authorities across Scotland. 

• Facilitate the sharing of learning from Scotland to help shape our long-term policy and public affairs work in Northern Ireland. 

• Lead the Scotland and Northern Ireland department to ensure the safe and effective operations of the food bank network. 

• Work with our Head of Strategic Church Engagement to deliver a church engagement strategy that will mobilise the church in Scotland and Northern Ireland to work to end the need for food banks. 

• Work with the Policy, Research and Impact, and Network Programmes and Innovation directorates to ensure effective cross-departmental working on policy and research opportunities, strategic priorities, church engagement, external partnerships and impact reporting. 

Person Specification 

Technical skills and minimum knowledge: 

• Senior level experience of leading delivery programmes nationally and locally. 

• Senior level experience of directing policy and public affairs programme nationally and locally, and representing the Trussell Trust to senior government representatives, national stakeholders and the media. 

• Expertise of significantly growing and managing services, project and programmes to drive change; leading, motivating and inspiring teams; leading culture change; able to manage multiple projects, identifying conflicting demands and establishing clear priorities in order to meet agreed objectives. 

• An effective communicator, verbally and in writing. Diplomatic and with the interpersonal skills required by the role. 

• Ensure that due regard is given to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion within all objectives that report into this department.

Head of Finance Business Partnering

My client is a nation leading, medical, charitable organisation that provide support to individuals and their families suffering from this disorder, while also funding vital research. The Finance department is a valued part of the organisation and you will become part of a diverse and dedicated team, working in an environment where you can collaborate, be respected and thrive. You will be responsible for effective strategic financial management and planning, providing services of the highest standard and ensuring long-term financial viability. Working with the Head of Finance and the business partnering team to develop stakeholder engagement processes.

Key areas of responsibilities;

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the charity, its activities and how the finance business partnering team can support the achievement of our strategic objectives
• Alongside the Head of Finance, manage the budget and forecasts process for the charity
• Provide strategic business partnering directly to the research department and other teams
• To support the Head of Finance in the development of the financial plan in line with the Group’s operational plan and targets.

Who are we looking for?

• A formally qualified Accountant with relevant experience of financial accounting gained in a large, complex organisation (this could be commercial, Not-for-Profit or practice) 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills both written and oral, able to communicate effectively with finance professionals, senior management and trustees, and non-accountants to achieve cooperation and results
• Ability to manipulate data, analyse information, identify anomalies and extract pertinent information. Excellent attention to detail
