DOTWUK have a fun and friendly finance team in a small, but high-performing function and are looking for a collaborative, experienced and energetic leader for the role of Head of Finance.
In this exciting role, the successful candidate will provide the organisation with a timely, accurate and relevant financial management service by assuming day-to-day responsibility for the organisation’s accounting function, to enable the senior management team and the Board of Trustees to assess results and performance and make informed, strategic decisions, and ensure the organisation complies with statutory and corporate regulation and requirements.
You will work closely with the treasurer, directors and managers to enable them to manage their programme finances and support them to report to donors and to devise sound plans for growth and sustainability.
The UK chapter expects to grow income across all sources, including from institutions and foundations. You will play a critical role in maintaining and building on this success.
You will also be responsible for and provide input from a financial and management perspective on strategic development and the general organisation-wide structure and management as part of the Senior Management Team.

The Head of Legacies and In Memory will work with the Associate Director of Fundraising and Marketing to build and develop the vital legacy and in memory programme. The role will include the development of innovative and engaging marketing strategies - including recruitment and stewardship across legacies and in memory. The UK Legal team works to ensure that safe routes exist for all people seeking asylum. The team specialises in providing free legal advice and representation to unaccompanied children and families seeking asylum in the UK.
The Head of UK Legal Team will be a UK-based qualified solicitor or barrister or OISC Level 3 accredited caseworker or IAAS Supervising Senior caseworker with experience of working within the UK in a legal capacity, specifically in the area of asylum, immigration and refugee family reunion.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a high performing team of immigration lawyers, casework supervisors, and caseworkers. North London Open Spaces (NLOS) – a subdivision of the City Corporation - is comprised of a portfolio of some of the United Kingdom’s most iconic public urban greenspaces. The role
This exciting role within NLOS’s senior management team was created to help bring greater strategic alignment across NLOS and its charities and to better capitalise on new and existing opportunities. The post is critical to ensuring that we maximise the resources available to us through increased income generation and by forging strategic partnerships across multiple sectors and fields that allow us to increase and leverage support for each charity and provide a world class customer experience, while protecting and preserving green spaces of international significance. We have a rare and exciting opportunity at Woodgreen Pets Chairty to join our Senior Leadership team as a Head of Retail. You would be leading a transformation change to the Retail Estate that continues to enhance the Woodgreen brand, providing an exceptional shopping and donor experience alongside excellent customer service. Our Retail team is an integral part of our Charity, and as Head of Retail, you will be responsible for our estate of 27 shops that cover East of England, west towards Oxfordshire and south towards London. We would ask that you are flexible so as to travel around the region and have a regular presence in our Godmanchester Head Office.
As Head of Retail, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational direction, which includes:
Driving Growth: Achieve sales and profit targets through managing our Retail Area Managers whilst strengthening the existing estate by building strong foundations.
Strategic: Developing a customer focused strategy, ensuring it maximises sustainable net income and long-term value for the charity.
Team Building & Management: Working alongside the People and Volunteering teams, empower, support and develop a high performing retail team and create a collaborative workplace culture.
Budgetary and Financial Management: Work with the retail managers to set target net contributions for retail activities and making any amendments where necessary.
Operational: Ensure that all processes and systems are fit for purpose and constantly review the operational framework to ensure that the highest standards are being met.

The Head of Project Development is a new and pivotal role within the organisation that will bridge the gap between our fundraising efforts and the development and implementation of projects. This strategic position is focused on developing new projects based on clear evidence of need and alignment with PCR’s mission and priorities, as well as enhancing the case for existing projects. The role will work in collaboration with the delivery and partnerships team to develop cases for support and secure substantial funding to ensure we can continue to expand and deliver impactful, sustainable projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding our operational capacity, initiating innovative projects, and contributing significantly to our growth targets for impact and the associated income to achieve this.
Key Responsibilities

Project Development and Management: Spearhead the development of new projects and work alongside fundraising to develop bids to support existing initiatives, ensuring alignment with PCR’s strategic goals and funding opportunities.

Fundraising Support: Collaborate closely with the fundraising team to identify and secure funding from large statutory sources, including but not limited to the likes of the National Lottery Community Fund, NHS, NIHR, and Sports England.

Evidence Gathering: Develop a robust evidence base and demonstrate PCR’s capability through in-house or commissioned pilot work.

Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning processes, identifying key obstacles to project development, and developing strategies to overcome them.

Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure future project alignment with community needs and stakeholder expectations.
Profile of the Candidate

Proven experience in project development and management, preferably within the healthcare, research, or non-profit sectors.

Demonstrated success in securing funding from large statutory sources or HNWIs.

Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to identify and address operational and strategic challenges.

Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of motivating others to achieve high performance.
