You must be able to inspire us and our partners and spearhead our public affairs work, including through our National Delivery Plan to unite action to end digital poverty by 2030.
We bring together charities, corporates and government to address the underlying issues stopping families gaining full access to digital services such as education, healthcare and employment. This is an exciting, high profile and fast-paced role, joining our small team and working alongside partners, National Delivery Committee members and our wider stakeholders to effect real change for people. Whilst the role is remote based, you will regularly need to attend in-person meetings and events in central London (daytime and evening), as well as undertaking travel across the UK. Given the need to attend meetings in Westminster and Whitehall, you will need to live within commuting distance of London.
Key focus areas
- Building relationships with public, private and third sector organisations, including the wider DPA community.

RLS is a UK charity and a non-profit company in Greece (AMKE).
Refugee Legal Support works in solidarity with people who migrate. We operate in the UK, France and Greece, promoting and protecting rights through legal support, casework, litigation, engagement, training and partnerships. We advocate for safe migration and oppose discriminatory immigration systems and policies.
RLS has held a legal aid contract in the UK since 2023.
About the Afghan Pro Bono Initiative (APBI)
The Afghan Pro Bono Initiative is a specialist casework project delivered by RLS with funding and pro bono assistance from 14 leading commercial law firms. It is a project delivered in partnership with SPI.
Firm pro bono lawyers are trained and supervised by the project’s two full-time supervising lawyers so that they can then assist with legal casework.
APBI has two core components. The team delivers legal information and support to and within the Afghan community, working together with the Community Engagement and Research Lead to ensure wide access. While the project also provides high quality legal representation in a range of cases for this community. This includes family reunion, the ARAP scheme, the Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme and others.
APBI then aims to respond to the increased need for legal information, advice and representation of Afghan nationals and their family members forced to seek protection and reunion with family in the United Kingdom following the Taliban takeover. The project is now going into its 3rd year, and won the Most Effective Pro Bono Partnership Award at the Law Works Pro Bono Awards in 2022 as well as being nominated and commended for numerous other awards in 2022 and 2023.
The casework of this project feeds into strategic research, policy and advocacy efforts to make existing ‘safe’ routes to protection (in particular refugee family reunion and resettlement schemes) more accessible and effective, advocate for their expansion and defend the fundamental rights of people on the move by influencing policy and decision making.
Litigation arising out of the project is actively pursued (where eligible) under RLS’s legal aid contract to push for better decision-making, secure results for individuals and pursue improvements in the relevant law, policy and practices.
RLS recognise that pro bono legal work is always an adjunct to, and not a substitute for, an adequate system of publicly funded legal services.
Key responsibilities and objectives
The post holder will be a staff member of Refugee Legal Support. They will be a participant within the Afghan Pro Bono Initiative project team, which comprises two lawyers (the other being at SPI), a coordinator and a Community Engagement and Research Lead in addition to the volunteer lawyers from the individual commercial firm partners.
Key responsibilities

About the role
This is your opportunity to play a part in the day to day running of our CRM team and to really make your mark here at Shelter. About you
To succeed, you’ll need a firm grasp of the CRM tech landscape, including list management, segmentation and dynamic content, with experience of Adobe Campaign, Adobe Classic or a similar platform being essential. We’re looking for substantial experience in a CRM role with significant output and a proven track record of building and deploying complex automated journeys.
You’ll have good understanding of email marketing best practices, and the ability to edit email templates in HTML is desirable. Additionally, experience using Litmus (or something similar), as well as data selection experience, would be desirable.
What is for certain though is that you’re well-organised, have strong attention to detail, and can manage your time effectively as well as being used to building dynamic content within a template and building segments and audiences.

The successful Training lead will head our “Rise for Change” domestic abuse training programme and have the exciting opportunity to continue to grow the programme’s success to date. Rise for Change is a trauma informed domestic abuse training programme for non-specialist professionals. Uniquely created by our subject matter experts, our training directly addresses the need for intersectional and trauma informed domestic abuse training for professionals in all sectors. About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Events Manager to lead on Media Trust’s 2024 calendar of fundraising and industry-facing events, including our upcoming 30th Birthday Fundraising Gala and support with other programme-related events.

Good relationships shape our health and happiness, yet we are taught so little about them. LMK is a registered education charity on a mission to change that. We run workshops educating young people about healthy and unhealthy behaviours, so that they can avoid abuse and thrive in relationships.
Using film and guided discussions, our workshop leaders support children and young people in honest conversations about relationships and leave them better equipped to spot the early warning signs of abuse and inspire them to enjoy healthy, fulfilling relationships. We explore the 10 signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships and include practical lessons young people want to learn about (like consent) and practice scenarios in a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Job Description
LMK is looking for passionate and organised educators (LMK Leaders) to run community workshops, aimed at young people aged between 11 and 24. Through engaging, relatable, workshops you will help young people identify signs of healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviours, provide strategies for them to recognise the early warning signs of abuse and give them tools to keep themselves and their friends safe.
The minimum hours required per workshop is 3 hrs. This includes arriving 30 minutes before delivery, 1.5 to 2 hrs delivery and then remaining back 10 minutes and being accessible to young people who would like further information or a one-to-one conversation, surrounding the subject of relationships.
There is also 30 minutes admin, which is usually completed off-site, such as inputting student surveys and a Leader survey.

Extensive experience of teaching or working with young people (9 to 24 yrs old) in an educational, sports or community setting.

Minimum 2 years’ experience co-designing, delivering and evaluating group sessions, consisting of minimum, of 12 and maximum of 30 participants.

Experience or co-designing session plans and co-facilitating with others; able to collaborate equally with others.

A strong commitment to young people and knowledge and understanding of issues affecting their relationships.

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with the ability to create a safe and non-judgmental space, that allows young people to speak freely about their relationships and experience.

Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to deliver sensitive information whilst treating young people’s concerns with respect.

Capable of maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries with young people, peers, and professionals.

Able to adapt and be flexible in workshops to get the best engagement from a range of participants.

Skilled at facilitating virtual workshops and working with a selection of online portals.

Entitled to work in the UK.

Hold a DBS certificate or be willing to let us undertake a check on your behalf.

Have a recent safeguarding qualification from a recognised provider or be willing to undertake additional training in this area.

Flexibility to work non-traditional, after-school and occasional weekend / holiday hours.

The City and Guilds of London Art School is a small, independent Higher Education Institute. It traces its history back to the 1850s and has strong links to a number of City Livery Companies as well as certain Trusts and Foundations and individual donors. The Art School is now seeking a Development and External Relations Manager to drive forward its activities in these areas in accordance with the Art School’s strategy and targets. A key aspect of the role is nurturing existing and developing new relationships within the Art School’s expanding base of supporters and collaborators, including through the organisation of events. We are looking for a self-starter with substantial experience of working in a fundraising role in the cultural or similar sector, and who can work on their own initiative as a key member of the Art School’s senior management team.
