WECare Worldwide is a UK and Sri Lankan registered charity set up by veterinary surgeon Janey Lowes. Our mission is to provide international standard veterinary care for less fortunate animals around the world, starting in Sri Lanka. Key responsibilities:

1. Fundraising Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve organisational fundraising goals.

• Design and establish fundraising structures, policies, and processes to streamline fundraising efforts and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Identify new fundraising opportunities and innovative approaches to expand the donor base and increase revenue streams.

2. Donor Engagement and Relationship Management:

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and potential supporters.

• Implement strategies to enhance donor engagement and retention, including the development of stewardship programmes, and  ensure ongoing engagement, retention, and the growth of regular givers.

• Lead the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and events, ensuring seamless logistics and maximising donor participation.

• Research and identify potential grants and trust funders to diversify funding sources.

3. Communication and Outreach:

• Create and distribute quarterly newsletters and appeal email campaigns to engage supporters and donors.

• Develop and maintain relationships with current sponsors, partners, and key donors.

• Oversee the 'Sponsor a Dog' programme, ensuring its effectiveness in donor engagement and revenue generation.

• Optimise the new supporter journey and create promotional materials in line with current brand guidelines.

• Identify, actively seek, and manage media opportunities, including TV, radio, and social media partnerships.

• Secure support from UK/ Sri Lankan  businesses and establish official partnerships where possible.

4. Fundraising Management:

• Manage fundraising events, including securing sponsorship and maintaining strong relationships with venues and their staff.

• Support WECare fundraisers with all needs associated with their efforts.

• Develop grant applications and supporting documentation.

• Manage the production of fundraising materials and advertisements.

• Oversee the development of merchandise ranges and play a key role in the sales process.

The Artswork Professional Development team contributes significantly to Artswork’s income generation and successful reputation. About the Role

This role will be responsible for developing the vision and direction of the Communication and Marketing Strategy but will fundamentally be an operational management delivery role. Responsible for developing and rolling out a multi‐channel communication and marketing strategy that will:

• raise the profile of the charity by communicating news about projects, programmes, and partnerships on social channels, on online and print media outlets, TV networks,
• deliver communications to generate sales to secure a pipeline of farm residential visit bookings from beneficiary groups (being children from schools in disadvantaged communities, youth groups, young carers, children in care, etc) across England and Wales.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Raising the profile of the Charity by devising and implementing a beneficiary‐focused communications strategy that supports both the sales and fundraising function, including print, social, and online communications that target teachers and other adults who are key decision makers for our beneficiaries.

This is a very exciting time to join our expanding Visiting Caseworker Service. We are seeking two new colleagues, who will join our current team of two caseworkers covering the UK and Ireland.  These newly created positions will be regionally based, one covering South West England & South Wales, and the other North West England & North Wales (with other travel across the UK on occasion).

Visiting Caseworkers each deal with an approximate caseload of 70-100 cases / visits per year.  Central to the role will be supporting and advocating on behalf of vulnerable applicants, or those who are living in particularly complex or challenging situations. The job will be wide-ranging and include elements of advocacy, support, income maximisation, mediation, partnership working and processing our own grants where appropriate, with the overall aim to reach long-term sustainable solutions for Anglican clergy households.

Working closely with the Visiting Caseworker Manager and the wider Charitable Services team, key responsibilities will include:

Receive referrals from applicants via the Grants & Services team, for potential casework and home visits

• Assess and prioritise urgent cases on a weekly basis.

Conduct home visit (or online meeting)

• Provide thorough assessment of current situation, taking into consideration time available and wellbeing of the applicant.
• Conduct general income maximisation check (welfare benefits, grants check etc), where necessary.
• Identify, discuss and escalate (to Designated Safeguarding Officer) any safeguarding concerns within the household.
• Gather information in order to create individualised action plans with the primary contact and other household members. 
  • Assess and prioritise urgent actions during the meeting.

Develop an action plan 

• Complete a written summary of the meeting and draft an action plan for possible areas of help and support with allocated responsibilities and agreed timelines.
• Prioritise urgent actions and agree responsibility for each action with applicant.
• Liaise with other agencies (e.g., DWP, Social Services, NHS, other charities, voluntary organisations, occupational benevolent funds, Dioceses, CofE Pensions Board etc.) where necessary.
• Refer to our own partnership support services if appropriate for help and support.
• Research and identify any local organisations for longer-term support.
• Consider and recommend most appropriate grant support through our own internal grants programme.
• Advocate on behalf of the applicant (e.g., complete internal and external applications, liaise with other external agencies, members of the Church where necessary). 
• Act as third party for complaints, mediation or appeal hearings with applicants, either in person, online, or helping prepare a written submission.
• Keep accurate and objective notes and communications within our CRM system and ensure this is kept up to date on a daily basis.

Follow-up

• Manage and update action plans, while keeping in contact with applicant on a regular basis.
• Encourage and empower applicants to complete their actions and know when to step in, as and when necessary.
• Only in exceptional circumstances, consider a further home visit, if deemed appropriate

Other reasonable duties and projects commensurate with the post

• Support and work closely with other VC colleagues sharing areas of expertise.
• In particularly busy times, act as an overflow for grant applications, to support colleagues in the Charitable Services Team.

About Us

Founded in 2012 we are a UK charity that provide support, advice and information to patients and their loved ones who are affected by cancers of the head, mouth, neck, chest, and those throat cancers caused by the Human Papillomavirus (HPV). We also campaign for universal HPV vaccination to prevent any future devastating throat cancer cases. Raising awareness of HPV and how it causes throat cancers has been and continues to be a large part of our work.

About the role

The successful applicant will work closely with the CEO, the management team, and Trustees to implement, develop and deliver a fundraising strategy that meets the charity’s challenging income targets. This post will play a vital role in helping us to deliver our range of throat cancer support programmes to patients, families, as well as to medical professionals and the scientific research sectors. As part of this service, we must ensure that carers can seamlessly book online or face-to-face training through our website. Additionally, they should have access to a wide range of online information and advice content. While some of this functionality exists within our current digital estate, not all of it does and there is room for improvement. Therefore, the redevelopment project aims to create a cohesive website experience with clear user journeys and new functionality.

Magic Breakfast is a registered charity providing healthy breakfasts to children and young people in the UK who arrive at school too hungry to learn, and expert support to their schools. JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking an innovative Project Manager who is looking for an exciting opportunity to play an instrumental part in the planning and delivery of Magic Breakfast’s technology and data transformation. In this multi-faceted position, you’ll lead the development and implementation of the organisation’s project management strategy and standards, while also championing the ongoing delivery of data-focused technology and transformation projects. The broad and diverse nature of the projects will mean no two days are the same. Your expertise will be critical in maximising the impact of every initiative we undertake.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement the organisation's project management strategy and methodology

• Lead on business process mapping and improvement across the organisation

Team Leadership:

• Establish and enforce project management standards and best practice ensuring project implementation takes a people-centred approach including training, internal communications, and changes to policies and procedures

• Lead and mentor any project managers, providing coaching and development opportunities

Project Management:

• Lead and manage technology and transformation projects across the organisation

• Develop and execute project plans, objectives and timelines that account for technical dependencies, risks and resource needs

Core Management Group:

• Support other team members who have responsibilities supporting Magic Breakfast projects and initiatives in line with Magic Breakfast’s values, supporting and leading as an indirect lead in line with Magic Breakfast’s policies and procedures.

We are looking for 2 part time Information & Advocacy Community Support Workers in Scotland, one based in North Scotland (Inverness area due to travel requirements and location of NHS services) and one based in Central Scotland.

You will ensure that service users (children and adults) and their families, receive high quality support, from the point of diagnosis and throughout their journey, and will assist them to access funding, equipment and care and support that they are entitled to. You will join a team that makes a real difference to the lives of the people living with muscle-wasting conditions, and their families, in Scotland. The role will be primarily home based, but there will also be a requirement to attend outpatient clinics within the region, attend home visits where appropriate and to support responding to queries through the helpline and information inbox. Some travel will be required to attend meetings and events outside of Scotland. You will work with both statutory and voluntary organisations, clinicians, and health and social care professionals to ensure that people living with muscle wasting conditions get the care and support they need to live well and independently.

As CTA's Business Development Manager, your role involves increasing the uptake of MiDAS training and growing CTA membership. To do this you will need to have/develop an in-depth knowledge of the sector, be able to conduct your own research, develop relationships with our key stakeholders, and track performance metrics.

Responsibilities

Promoting CTA services, increasing uptake, and retention.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing members, ensuring their satisfaction and engagement to retain our existing membership.
• Develop and foster relationships with local authorities, umbrella organisations, charities, voluntary organisations and other stakeholders across the UK to promote CTA membership offerings.
• This will include creating a promotional package for CTA membership to be delivered to organisations across the UK.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and outreach strategy to promote MiDAS training courses.
• You will do this by collaboratively working with MiDAS customers, training providers, local authorities, and community organisations to raise awareness of MiDAS and its benefits. • Build and maintain connections with commercial organisations affiliated with CTA, ensuring strong relationships, and the offers are relevant adding value to CTA membership.

• Using available internal MiDAS sales and participation data, develop a thorough understanding of who purchases and uses the product and how this can be leveraged to increase participation in the training programme and drive its income.

• Make the best use of social media, including content creation, to promote CTA membership and training offering.
