Working across mass participation fundraising products, you will deliver market-leading campaigns, develop creative and engaging supporter content and explore channels of communication with our supporters to achieve further transformational growth.
This role requires an ambitious marketeer with previous product/event marketing experience, outstanding copywriting skills and an enthusiasm for identifying and implementing new social and digital technologies. Fundraising experience is not essential.
You will work alongside another Marketing Campaigns Officer to support the Marketing & Engagement Manager and the Head of Sporting Events on the development of SLF campaigns. You will provide copywriting support to the SLF team and manage creative and media agency relationships. The role also works closely with the Sporting Events Managers, the Relationship Fundraising Managers and their teams, as well as collaborating with other colleagues in the Communications, Brand, Strategic Marketing, Project Management, Digital and Data teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the marketing activity for mass participation campaigns
· Write clear, engaging and fun copy for campaigns including social media adverts, marketing toolkits, emails and web.
· Work with agencies, partners and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time campaign delivery
· Own the overall marketing/comms calendar for income-driving campaigns.
· Be innovative: review and implement new technologies to improve our campaigns, drive engagement and boost supporter experience.
· Help bring our For A Cure brand messaging to life across SLF marketing
Campaign marketing: supporter acquisition
· Supporting the Marketing & Engagement Manager, play a significant role in bringing thousands of new supporters to the charity through targeted, considered and tactical marketing campaigns.
· Lead on the day-to-day management of marketing campaigns for the SLF team Provide the SLF team with copywriting support, marketing assets, and wider marketing support.
· Assist the Marketing & Engagement Manager and the Head of Sporting Events on campaign proposition and development to maximise income and attract new supporters.
· Work with our external agencies and partners, managing relationships where required.
· Work with internal stakeholders to ensure SLF campaigns are integrated across the charity to drive maximum value and awareness in particular our digital team.
· Deliver all campaigns on time, on budget, on brand.
· Lead on the gathering of data for campaign review and analysis, with proactive adaptation of plans to optimise results.
Budget Management and reporting
· Manage budgets, marketing spends and monitor campaign ROI for campaigns you are responsible for.
· Work closely with Digital and Data teams to ensure engagement, acquisition and remittance is monitored and evaluated (CPA, trend analysis, KPI tracking and lifetime value.
· Provide monthly campaign performance reporting and benchmarking against market trends, previous similar campaigns and to agreed campaign measures.

Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Main duties
Systems and Data
- Ensure data is clean, up-to-date and compliant with internal data architecture and GDPR standards
- Use Salesforce and associated dashboards to manage student data, track engagement and support targeting
- Support evaluation and contribute to analysis of student feedback and engagement data

- Support with the utilisation of student feedback to inform platform improvements

Content and Communications

- Maintain and update the STO knowledge centre and help articles
- Schedule and support delivery of newsletters, email reminders, and event campaigns
Delivery Support
- Support with delivery of STO live events, including logistical and technical support
- Collaborate with partners on webinar delivery and student follow-up
- Support onboarding of students and ensure smooth user journeys across the platform

Person Specification

About You
As the Philanthropy Manager, you will be a confident and persuasive communicator, comfortable engaging with supporters and stakeholders at all levels. You will have a solid knowledge of philanthropic giving and a deep appreciation of the value of high-quality donor stewardship. Highly organised and detail-focused, you will enjoy working with data and be skilled at producing compelling content both on and offline. You will lead on managing and growing Art UK’s philanthropic giving programme, which includes the Patrons and supporter events programme and our major donor activity. You will be part of a small, committed Development team that raises funds across a broad range of income streams: trusts and foundations, public funding, corporates, high-net-worth individuals, online giving, and patron schemes. You will report to the Head of Development, work closely with the CEO and Chair of the Philanthropy Board, and collaborate with colleagues across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Your responsibilities will include:

Reporting to: CEO
Line Management Reports: Clinical Managers, Outreach Therapist/s, and support staff.

Clinical Facing function:
Work with the Clinical Managers to support them with the day-to-day management of the clinical service. Line Management oversight of the Supervision function of the organisation. Act as the DSL for Adult Safeguarding including the training, risk management, recording and reporting of all safeguarding activity. Ensure icap’s strategic objectives are understood and supported across the Clinical service. Review the Client Contribution policy to include full cost charging for services.

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Clinical Leadership and Management experience in a small or similar organisation. Managing and working with minoritised or deprived groups with multiple barriers and limited access to psychotherapy. Experience of producing Board reports and working with commissioners, developing funding applications, and service level agreements for Clinical services. Experience of Clinical Governance and reporting targets and outcomes.
Training and 6+ years direct experience in using psychotherapeutic and trauma informed approaches with recognised post graduate psychotherapy qualification. Accreditation with either BPC, UKCP, BACP, ICP, NCPS and/or IACP. Evidence of up-to-date practice as recommended by relevant professional body.
Knowledge and experience of SharePoint and the Microsoft suite of tools.

About the role
We’re looking for a Financial Accountant with Charities SORP experience to join our Finance Team.
You will be a key member of the Finance team, responsible for supporting month end processing, maintaining the finance system, assisting in the preparation of the statutory accounts and managing audit queries, and advising on technical and charity-specific accounting queries.
This is an exciting period of change in the finance team with the implementation of a new finance system in October (Microsoft’s Business Central) and this role will be key in supporting that implementation.
Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement are key to this role to ensure that financial data is correctly recorded and that the charity remains compliant with its regulators.
The Finance team works closely with teams from across the charity and in this role, you will often need to pick up requests flexibly and explain complex financial information to non-financial staff.

What will I be doing?
No two days are the same at Young Lives vs Cancer. So, summarising your ‘day to day’ isn’t easy. Here are some of the main things you’ll be doing, but you’ll find more details in the job description.
- Ensuring timeliness, accuracy and completeness of financial information recorded on the finance system. The role holder should be committed to continuous improvement of processes to ensure the financial data recorded is of the highest quality.
- Systems administrator for the key financial systems – these are SUN (General Ledger software), iPOS and JET (invoice approval and management systems) and banking platforms but a system replacement project is underway to implement Microsoft Business Central (General ledger and invoice management). Responsible for managing access rights, training new users, implementing required changes and updates, and acting as the key point of contact with the system providers.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with tax legislation, preparing the quarterly VAT return, and supporting the Head of Finance Operations in making sure that tax recovery is optimised and that the Charity’s VAT accounting methodology is regularly reviewed.
- Day-to-day management of cash in line with treasury policy including maintenance of operational cash flow forecast and making recommendations to the Head of Finance Operations for investment of cash, to ensure optimal return on investment.
- Co-ordinating the audit preparation process by supporting staff across the Charity to prepare high quality information and by preparing audit schedules for auditor review.

SUMMARY OF ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, the Senior Strategic Communications Manager is a pivotal new senior role within the team. You will lead the planning, coordination and strategic oversight of RABI’s national communications, campaign planning, media relations and content production, working with the Senior Digital Communications Manager to develop and deliver a bold new internal and external communications strategy for RABI.
With direct line-management of the PR & Marketing Manager and Events & Engagement Manager, this role combines strategic vision with operational leadership to ensure RABI’s marketing, communications, and presence at shows and corporate events is effective, aligned and impactful. Essential
- A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in communications, public relations, or external affairs, with at least 3 years in a senior strategic leadership role.
- Demonstrated experience of successfully delivering complex, multi-channel campaigns across press, digital, and event-led platforms.
- Proven line-management experience, including oversight of senior team members and external contractors or agencies.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale external events or national campaigns.
- Demonstrated ability to build, inspire, and develop high-performing teams during periods of strategic growth or transformation.
- Excellent understanding of brand development, audience segmentation, integrated campaign planning, and stakeholder communications.
- Extensive media relations experience with a proven track record in securing high-profile national and specialist media coverage.

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a self-motivated, personable, and enthusiastic individual to work as part of a team to support and grow our lifesaving clubs as well as developing and grow recognition of and participation in Lifesaving Sport.
Pivotal to the role will be the collaboration with external agencies and clubs in Scotland, to strengthen and publicise our water safety education throughout the region together with supporting the needs of clubs in the region.
KEY TASKS, ROLES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To build and maintain productive relationships with organisations involved in the field of water safety, particularly with Water Safety Wales, Water Safety Ireland and associated partners including attendance at relevant meetings
- To actively recruit and increase the number of clubs affiliated to RLSS UK
- Understand the water safety and drowning prevention geographical landscape across Wales and Ireland and actively seek to enhance lifesaving provision in areas of low activity
- In partnership with the Volunteering and Events Team and Sports Committee, continue to develop and grow participation in Lifesaving Sport
- Support clubs to achieve and maintain the appropriate accreditation in line with RLSS UK requirements and policies
- Support clubs to ensure they have the appropriate status, governance, and structure to enable them to be sustainable and effective
- Support clubs, branches and working groups to offer effective pathways for the development of talent, growth, and retention of members
- Support clubs to ensure they are compliant with the safeguarding requirements set out by RLSS UK
- To support clubs to have an affective and appropriate workforce in place, including supporting them to recruit, train and retain
- Contribute to RLSS UK’s Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion work to ensure affiliated clubs grow their capability to ensure every community enjoys water safely
