SHINE is a membership organisation offering free services and support to over 14,700 members living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus, normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), and associated conditions.
We currently have 750 members living with NPH and this is growing significantly each month. This role will provide a specific focus on the area of NPH, whilst also supporting wider Shine activities.
Main purpose of role
Deliver a high-quality service to and facilitate opportunities for, individuals living with NPH/dementia and their families/carers through Shine membership across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Empower and enable members living with the conditions to lead healthy and happy lives through greater independence, better condition management and by creating links to the Shine community and their local networks.

The Opportunity
This role at WFN provides an exciting opportunity to lead on the development of our growing Winner Network Development (WND) programme, identified as one of the charity’s key areas for strategic growth and maximised impact over the coming years. We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing communicator who is passionate about conservation and can drive forward and create connections between our global network of over 220 conservationists, fostering knowledge exchange, capacity development and collaboration. As part of this programme the Grants and Network Manager (GNM) will help with delivery of annual thematic training workshops, with opportunity for international travel. The GNM will also assist our Head of Grants (HG) in monitoring our portfolio of active grants, with support from the Grants Assistant (GA). The GNM will also participate in the Whitley Awards application process by helping to screen the grant applications and supporting with due diligence. · MSc or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Conservation/ Zoology/ Environmental Science)

Purpose
The Fundraising Development Officer supports the delivery of our individual giving programme, helping to nurture current supporters and attract new ones.
You will be responsible for building our regular giving support, implementing supporter journeys and co-ordinating our annual appeals. You will also work closely with the Head of Fundraising in developing our major donor plans, and support with other individual giving channels, including in-memory giving and legacy giving.

Key responsibilities and duties

Manage our ‘Friends of Charlie Waller’ regular giving scheme, building the supporter numbers and engagement with the charity.

Deliver exceptional supporter care to our regular supporters, recognising opportunities for deeper engagement and potential for further support.

Implement the supporter journeys for regular and one-off donors, creating communications to engage them with the cause and understand the impact.

Co-ordinate our appeals cycle, working closely with colleagues across the charity to collate appeal content, including case studies, statistics and images.

Purpose of the Role:
As a key leader within our Partnerships and Income Development team, you will be responsible for creating, developing and delivering the Social Mobility Foundation’s Employer Programme – how we inform, influence and positively impact employer-led social mobility, and a source of income generation.
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships and Income Development, you’ll be the custodian of the Social Mobility Employer Index (SMEI) – our annual benchmarking and assessment tool for how UK employers recruit, retain and develop talent from all socioeconomic backgrounds and build inclusive workplaces. You'll have full product ownership, managing the delivery lifecycle from end-to-end: from marketing, to pipeline development and entrant submissions, data analysis, reporting and evaluation, as well as ongoing development and improvement.
In addition, by collaborating with existing partners who offer pro-bono consultancy, you’ll scope, develop and deliver new products, resources and services that equip employers with the knowledge and practical tools to improve social mobility in the workplace.

Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for Compliance Manager – Fundraising to join our Compliance Team based in London, Sunderland, Bradford or Manchester.

We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037.
Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year.
The Compliance Team’s role is to provide assurance that, based on evidence, internal controls are in place and are operating effectively. We are responsible for ensuring Centrepoint can operate and develop safely within regulatory frameworks. The team, which consists of managers, officers and a head of department, oversees several aspects of compliance across Centrepoint, including fundraising, employability & skills, data protection, complaints, internal policies and procedures and safeguarding.
Centrepoint operates a hybrid working model. The current requirement is a minimum of two days in the office per week, with the remaining days worked remotely. From 1 July 2025, this will increase to a minimum of 50% of your working week. For most full-time colleagues, this means attending the office for five days over a two-week period (e.g., two days one week and three days the next). For colleagues on different contracts (including part-time or compressed contracts) this will be adjusted accordingly.
